It's finally time! Time for those wonderful amazing prompts. But, before you start selecting and going through the prompts, there are a few things you must keep in mind.

✷ The prompts are open genre, that you can freely write according to any genre, along with the prompt being open gender.

✷ The prompts can't be mixed with another cultural language prompts, like; you can't mix a FreeThePOC prompt with a Indian, Japanese, Chinese or Sinhala prompt.

✷ You can combine multiple prompts, but your entry must follow one main prompt.

✷ The prompts don't have any specific point of views, so you can choose any perspective for your entry.

When you keep walking further, you realise you are dressed up as a shrine maiden and for this New Year, you are the Kamisama (Goddess/God) in charge to which you have to make all the wishes that have been made to you by the citizens come true to go back home.

#4. Your family holds a huge secret that you never knew until a week before New Year when your mom tells you to prepare a massive bowl of ramen and a massive sushi. You don't know why you have to prepare for this. But, it's urgent and you need to prepare the meal soon. According to your parents, they say it's for the royal family. But why would they need massive sushi?

When you leave the couch to grab some popcorn, you suddenly find yourself dressed up as the main character of the Anime you had been watching. As you try to change, it doesn't allow you to as a voice from the TV can be heard telling you that for you have to be the main character to give a new storyline to the Anime just for this day.

Even though the tree is old, you decide to put on a wishing charm when all of a sudden everything around you starts changing and you have travelled back in time to the Ming Dynasty. To return back, you have to fill the tree with charms or you will be stuck in that time forever. How would you go back?

#2. You had always feared dragons. And, at the time of New Year, your friends decide to take you on a stroll through the streets when suddenly kids with paper dragons run towards you and slowly, as they get closer the dragon comes to life. Only you can see it and no one else. It starts talking to you and following you when it says that you are being tested by the deities and you have to get along with the dragon the entire New Year. How would you survive this, and most importantly fix your fear of dragons?

#3. Before New Year, you decide to go shopping to prepare for the New Year. You realise that you didn't have a perfect outfit to wear. As you decide to pick an outfit later, you go to bed. The next day you find a beautiful Haifu on the bed. You don't know who has bought it for you. When you finally wear it for New Year, you catch someone who's wearing a matching Haifu to yours. Is this a New Year gift for you? Or a match made by the heavens?

#4. Before New Year's, you start on a spring cleaning when you come across one of your grandpa's old journals. The moment you open the book, you are met with blank pages when you notice a small note in the back that says, "Tomorrow is the first blank page of a 365-page book. Write a good one and make sure to have grandma's favourite homemade mooncakes to make sure that you have finished one day." You realise he has set this book for you.
