1. What prompted you to write this story?

"I began the book when I was 12 years old. I was obsessed with wolves at the time and wanted to write a story that somehow involved them. At the same time, my brother and I had created an imaginative world together, so I decided to write a story with these two elements. The story went through huge changes as the years passed, and I rewrote it several times. Each time I edited the drafts, I came up with new ideas, and it was influenced by books or movies I had read and watched at that time. I think that a major part of it is that Andrea (the main character) was a partial reflection of myself. "

2. What struggles do you face when writing?

"Imagination and motivation are my two biggest struggles when it comes to writing. After coming home from work, I am both physically and mentally exhausted, so it is hard to think up new ideas and sit down to write. I am also not a very social person, so I find it somewhat difficult to make all my characters different and unique. But to combat all this, I am working on setting up a better writing atmosphere at home, and working on my social life."

3.What is something you consider unique about your book?

" I wouldn't say my book is that unique as it contains many common traits. But some things that readers have told me, is how my stories are very character-driven and I allow several characters to become the main character at different points. It is a controversial way of writing, but it is what I like doing.  "

4. Do you plan for this book to be a standalone, series, or don't know yet (plz list the reason on why you don't know yet)?

"The Unhappy Heart is the first book in a trilogy. Because of this, there are several things that are left unanswered in the story. Something in the background causes these books to be connected, and I am super excited to write the second book. "

5. What is your favorite quote from the novel (please add permission for me to use the quote "Yes you have my permission" is good)?

"Aren't we lucky?" she asked in a soft voice. "We have something worth living for and something worth dying for."

My understanding of your book:

Hi, guys, I'm reading "The Unhappy Heart (Book 1 of the Wolfheart Trilogy)" by @WhimsiquillWriter.  The story could explore themes of self-discovery, friendship, and the consequences of choices in the face of larger conflicts. The magical world of Anruen introduces an intriguing backdrop, and Andrea's character development as she grapples with her responsibilities and choices adds an element of personal growth to the narrative.  The narrative presents Andrea with a crucial decision: whether to return to her familiar but dull world or remain in Anruen, where she must choose sides between the men and the mages. I am so curious and invested in this story, especially since it is apart of a Trilogy!!
