This sucks. We need to help Mila before they take her too and change her. "There has to be a other way right?" Libby asked.

None of us answered. "Nope mermaids are really strike creatures. If they say she dies, she dies." Logan said.

Thanks Logan for that fun fact.

"Well I'm not giving up." I said pacing back and forth. Mila was sitting on the edge of the water. Her tail was in the water. The sun and the water made her tail shine really bright in all sort of colours.

"I wish there was a way." Mila whisper looking down at the water. "You have no idea what I would do for a pair of legs." She really want to be a Nimf again.

Ugh why can't I help her. I'm the savior for crying out loud! I have to do something! "It's a shame that we can't just heal you." Connor said standing up from the edge.

I froze on my spot and looked at him.

"What did you just say?" I asked walking toward him.

He looked confuse. "Uhm I said that it is a shame that we can't just heal her."

A huge smile came to my fave before I pull Connor into a tight hug. "Connor you're a genius!" I pull away and walk back to Mila.

"Uhm yeah of course I am." I hear Connor mutter making Libby laugh.

"Hazel what are you talking about?" Mila asked confuse.

"Mila if you change back to your normal self you will not die." I told her kneeling down in front of her. "But they told me."

" I know, but I can heal you if you change. I can heal the wounds and you won't die." Mila was happy at first, but still I could see some hesitation.

"Mila I promise that I won't let you die." She nodded her head giving me a small smile.

"Okay so how are you going to change back?" I asked standing up.

"Uhm I need to asked Dina. She is queen of all mermaids. She the one who transformed me in the first place." Okay that's not that hard.

"Can you call her?" Libby asked.

"Uhm there is just one small problem." Mila said looking at her.

I look confuse at Mila waiting for her to explain. "You killed her daughter when you saved Logan. That's why all the other mermaids attacked you when you were near the water the last time." Great.

I killed queen's daughter without knowing it. "She's not going to help me if she knows that you are going to help me afterwards." I ran a hand through my hair before closing my eyes.

"Okay we can fix did. Right?" I asked looking at Connor and Libby.

"Uhm yeah why don't you hide behind a tree and we do the talking." Connor said pointing at Libby. I nodded me head looking at them.

"Okay sounds like a plan to me." I wish I could stay and help, but I don't want to risk Dina seeing me.

"It's better if Logan isn't here either. She knows who he is." Mila said jumping back in the water.

I look at Logan and he was leaning against a tree. I know he didn't care at all about this. He's just doing this so I can let my dark side out. "Whatever." He mutter looking at us.

I hope for him that he won't ruin this.

"Come on." I grab his arm and pull him to a bush before pulling him down with me. He pulled his arm back looking angry at me. "Can you stop?!" I said getting also angry.

"I'm only going to stop if you give me what I want." He spat at me.

I rolled my eyes before looking through the bushes at Connor, Libby and Mila. "Okay I'm going to call her. Only speak to her if she speaks to you." Mila said looking at Connor and Libby.

Libby was nervous, I could see it at the way she moved from leg to leg to lean on. Her hands were playing with her sweater and nervously looked at Connor now and then. It was a surprise to me that Connor want nervous. It was like he done this already before.

I'm still confuse why their parents aren't Nimfen too. They both have water power and are pretty powerful. Lina had told me in the past  that sometimes the power of a family can skip a generation or not all the Nimfen has power from the family. Like example Alaric his sister was a Nimf with earth power, but he didn't had any power at all. Their mom and that had both no power, so Alaric sister was the only one in her family. However their grandmother had earth power, so she got it from her.

Lina told me that if both the parents don't have power not all the children have powers and are less powerful. That's why I don't get why Libby and Connor have both powers and are pretty powerful. Libby didn't use her powers much only these couple of days and she already located Mila and help me call her.

I know Connor is pretty powerful. He just don't use his power to the fullest. If he was in a battle he would pretty much have won it against a fire nimf. I still want to figure out why Mafalda killed every water Nimf.

She knows about Connor and Libby and a feeling inside of me say that she wants to kill them, but why? Are they such a treat against her? Are they really that powerful?

I hear a splashing sound and snapped out of my thoughts. I saw mermaids swimming to the direction of Mila. Libby moved closer to Connor. No matter what she still don't feel comfortable with this whole thing. She's still scared and don't know how to fight or act the right way.

Which I get.

I was scared too in the begging, but that feeling when away when I saw that my friends were in danger. When you have to act fast to save someone, you don't have time to be scared. All that is on your mind is to help the person who is in danger. 

One mermaid stood out from all the others. She had beautiful greenish blue hair and on the ends purple. Her tail was more colourful than that from Mila, who I thought had a beautiful tail. Her lips were a mint green colour which was matching her eyes. A crown of seashells and starfish was placed neatly on her head.

"Mila why did you call me and why are there Nimfen with you?" The other mermaids hist at Connor and Libby ready to attack. I wanted to jump up, but Logan grabbed my arm shaking his head. I nodded my head and look back at them.

"I'm sorry queen Dina, but these Nimfen are here to help me." Mila said with her head down. Dina look at Connor and Libby. Her eyes stay on them both for a little before looking fully at Libby. A smile came on her face. I had a weird feeling in my stomach about that. I didn't like the way she looked at Libby.

"And why would these Nimfen help you?" She asked finally taking her eyes off of Libby.

I could feel how uncomfortable that was for Libby. "They can help me stay alive when I turn back a Nimf." All the mermaids gasp looking away from Connor and Libby.

"My child look up." Mila slowly lift her head up looking at Dina.

"Why would you want to turn back to a Nimf?" Mila sigh licking her lips.

"I want to go back to my family, my real family." Dina formed her lips into a tin line before looking at Connor and Libby.

"And you can help her with staying alive?" 

"Yes we can." Connor said looking straight at her.

"Why would you think I would turn you back now Mila. I lost already many of my people. It would be stupid if I would let you go now. In fact it would be better if I would have more people." She said loudly looking at Mila.

"She's going to turn Libby." Logan whisper in my ear.

I snapped my head towards him looking confuse.

"What?" I asked confuse before looking back at them.

"The why she looked at Libby. Dina has a history of taking young and innocent girls, turning them in to mermaids against their will. It's something she's been doing for ages. It surprise me that she didn't already do it. I think if she knew that Libby was a water Nimf she would already shave done it. Water Nimfen keep their power if they been turn into a mermaid." My eyes widen.

I need to get Libby away from them. I knew that this was a bad idea. I was just to busy thinking  of saving Mila that I didn't saw any of the danger. "Would she know that Libby is a water Nimf?" I whisper back to Logan.

"I don't know, but I think she's suspicious. Mermaids can feel which power a Nimf has, only when they are really closer. Libby and Connor are standing on a good amount of distance from her for her to not feel it."

Why would Logan know stuff like this? I remember him telling me once that he don't have much knowledge about mermaids. That was more Lina's thing.

"But tell me Nimfen how can you save Mila?" Dina swim closer to them making my heart beat faster.

Libby looked at Connor who had a straight face.

Crap we didn't think of that.
