I landed on my feet perfectly. The last time I landed in the snow with my face first. I'm getting better at this. "It's here." Libby said when she saw me.

I nodded my head.

The waterfall was still the same like the last time I saw het. I just hope no other mermaids are here.

"What now?" Logan asked. He was looking at the water.

Deep inside of me something was hoping that he would get his memory back from seeing this, but I know he's not getting it back like this.

"I need to call her, I think." I walk towards the water and put my hand in it. The water felt warm against my hand.

"Mila." My eyes scan the water, but didn't saw anything.

"Mila." I said a little bit louder.

"Are you sure that you saw her here?" Logan asked annoyed.

"Are you sure that you're not a ass." Connor mocked him.

"Of course I saw her here. We both did." I could hear Connor getting angrier.

"Well. I'm just saying if she would be here we already should have seen her." Logan don't push Connor please.

I don't want to step in between them, not now. "So you're saying that we were wrong?" I rolled my eyes before pulling my hand out the water.

"Yes. Like I said before you have to be pretty powerful to do something like that and you're clearly not powerful." I turn around and saw Connor fist clenched together while Logan just smirked at him.

Logan was challenging Connor I could feel it.

"Clearly you don't know how powerful I am." Connor said through clenched teeth.

Something came to my mind when I looked at Logan. I didn't feel anything he felt. When he was mad or when he was annoyed. I didn't feel the same thing. Normally I should have feel the same way or at least a little, but I didn't. The soulmate bound should have make me feel the same way. I just feel weird like I'm not myself or something.

"Connor stop." Libby stepped in front of her brother putting her hand on his chest.

His posture soften, but he still looked at Logan with glaring eyes. "Yeah why don't you listen to your sister before you get hurt." Connor was about to say something, but I was first.

"Can you just stop!" They al looked at me.

"I'm here to help someone because that's my job. My job is not to babysit two boys who don't know how to act their age and act like babies!" I turn back around and look back at the lake.

I need to concentrate.

I sat back down on my knees and looked into the water. I hear both the guys groan and mutter something between their teeth.

Boys.

Why can't they act mature for once in their lives. Someone came sitting beside.

"Don't let them get to your head Hazel." Libby said.

I let out a sigh before forming my lips into a tin line. "I know. I just really want to help Mila." I said looking back at her.

She rubbed my back giving me a soft smile. "I know Hazel and you will."

I smile back at her before looking back at the water. "I'm just scared something has happen to her. She said that she wasn't save anymore here." I still see her scared eyes in front of me.

"Maybe it will help if we both call for her. You know because you know her and my power is water. Maybe the signal will be stronger." She may be right.

"Okay."

She took my hand and held her other in the water.

"Call her name." I put my other hand in the water.

"Mila." Libby had her eyes closed.

"Again." She said.

"Mila." Her hand tighten.

For a second I thought that it would work. "Libby it's not."

She held her hand up for me to stop talking before pointing at the distance. I look and saw the water moving. Something was coming our way or more likely someone. I saw her beautiful tail and the red hair. A smile came on my face before I hugged Libby.

"Libby you're the best." She giggled shaking her head.

"I'm not, but thanks." Mila came to the edge and smiled when she saw me.

"Hazel it work the dream worked." I nodded my head with a smile.

Logan and Connor came to us standing behind us. When Mila saw Logan her face changed. "Mila it's okay." I said hoping she wouldn't swim away.

Her eyes stayed a little longer on Logan before looking back at me.

"Mila you have to tell me how I can help you." She shook her head.

"You can't help me." I bite my lip looking down at her. She looked so scared, but from what was she scared?

"Please Mila there had to be something." Again she shook her head.

"What are you afraid of?" Libby asked looking at the scared girl.

"Something is taking mermaids away turning them in hideous monster before returning them back into the water." Mafalda was the first person who comes to my mind.

Quickly I stood up and turn towards Logan. I jump on top of him pushing him down on the ground. I made a light knife and held it against his throat. "What is your mom planing." I growled at him.

"How should I know." I push the knife hard against his throat.

"Don't test me Logan." I said slowly.

He laugh putting his hand on my wrist. "Are you really going to hurt me?"

My eyes stayed on him before putting my knife in the air and slamming it down. Libby screamed when she saw me slamming the knife down. Logan had his eyes close and I was breath heavily.

The knife landed next to his head.

No matter what I don't think I can really hurt him. Slowly he open his eyes and looked at the knife next to him before looking back at me.

"The next time you better don't play with me. Now tell me what you're mom is doing." Logan looked at me with no emotion in his eyes. Something seem different about his eyes. Maybe it's because he was dead.

I don't know.

"Abraham. It's because of him. She's creating chaos and destruction. It's what he lives on for now to come back to life." That's why there are so many Nimfen disappearing and all those other creatures and Nimfen running to other lands. I got off of Logan before walking back to Mila.

"Mila you said something about your family. Where are they?" I asked hoping she would know.

"It's not that simple Hazel." She said looking away.

"It is simple Mila. Just tell me in which lake, river or ocean they are and I will find them."

She shook her head looking back at me. "You're are not going to find them in any of that."

I was confused.

"What do you mean?" Connor asked sitting next to me.

Mila took a deep breath. "Because they aren't mermaids."

That's just crazy.

"But how?" Libby asked.

Mila bite her lip. "When I was little I lived in a village here in Aura. One day I was playing and a shapeshifter attacked me dragging me into the forest. My dad came running after me with some other men, but they were to late. They killed the shapeshifter, but I was already deadly wounded. I was bleeding badly and if they would take me back to the village I would be dead when we arrived. I was laying at a lake and I think the mermaids must have seen what happen. They came to my dad and said that they could help me. I never thought that a mermaid could help a Nimf, but because my dad was a hunter who protect the forest and the waters they wanted to help. The mermaid told my dad that she could heal me, but that I would life in the water with them and that I never can see my family again. My dad had to decide on either letting me die or let me live and never seeing me again. As you could see he chose to let me live. I woke up in the water and saw that I had a tail and could breath underwater. The mermaids told me that they had changed me into a mermaid, so that I could live." Wow.

She was a Nimf once. Those stupid shapeshifter. They always has to hurt someone.

"And you can't change back?" Connor asked.

Mila shook her head.

"They told me if I ever change back I would go to the last state I was before I changed, meaning that I die when I change."
