Another day has pass by. I was walking home from my day at school. The long dirt road that I walked on my whole life. The flowers and animals standing on the side. The dirt was staining on my shoes. It was all the same.

It's been months since I last saw Lina and Ray. My grandma live in Terraite, so I live alone. She came home the day after I got back, but I said that she had to go back. Ever since I live on my own. Well sorta. Connor and Libby are sleeping over a lot.

When I got back I ran to their house in the poring rain. When I got to their door I was soaking wet. As soon as Connor open the door I fell into his arms crying my eyes out. Libby saw it and came running towards me. The both of them stayed with me that night.

They asked were I have been, but I couldn't tell them. They wouldn't believe me anyways. So I told them that my grandma send me to a special school and I told them that I was back because I missed them. They believed it and I was glad they did.

I didn't know how I would tell them about everything I have been going through. It's hard not to talk about it with Libby. Because We tell each other everything and now I have to keep it a secret for her. When they heard I live alone they came as much as they can.

Which I didn't mind at all.

I reach my door and open it. Everything was still the same. I placed my bag on the ground and walked to fridge taking a bottle of water. I sighed looking outside. I know that I can't run from my problems. I have to face Mafalda again someday and I'm ready to fight.

I have been training a lot.

They say that if your true love dies that you be come weaker, but with me it wasn't true. I don't feel weak I feel stronger. I have train my powers every single day and every day I got stronger. I also have been fighting monsters, trying to protect the people in this world.

A lot of monster slips trough the border and come to this world. Even werewolves and vampires. I need to either fight them or help them back, which isn't that hard.

The monsters are a little bit more difficult. They are stronger and only want to hurt humans. They can smell that I'm a Nimfen, so as soon that they see me they attack. The last few days more monsters and more powerful monsters has been walking through the border.

I don't know why, something seem off. I talked with my grandma about it and she said that the monsters are coming to every land there. They cross the border so often that the have to guard it with more men. I have a feeling that Mafalda is behind this.

She knows I'm back home so she can attack other lands there. I have thought about going back and help them, but every time I want to go something seem to hold me back. The thought of going to the castle and getting back reminded of him hurts my heart.

The wind was blowing lightly making the grass and trees blow with it. I look at the forest and saw something moving. Something or someone was standing at the border of the forest. He was looking at me. I look closer and my eyes widened. The person was wearing a leather jacket and had blond hair.

This can't be true.

My mind is playing tricks on me I know it. I ran out the door making it slam behind me. Quickly I ran towards him, but when I came closer he disappeared into the forest.

"Wait! Logan!"

I ran into the forest trying to find him. I know for sure that I saw him. My lungs were burning in my chest. Why is he running away from me? I stopped with running when I came to a open place. I look around turning in circles. Desperately trying to find him. Cracking sound came from everywhere. I couldn't find the source and broke down crying on my knees.

"NO!"

I cover my ears trying to take deep breaths.

He was never here.

I just imagine it. Dirt was covering my hands when I put them in front of me. Why am I giving myself hope. He's dead you have to face it. He's dead! Tears ran down my face. I lay down looking up. The trees were covering the sky, but I could see some parts of the sky. Sobs escape my mouth while looking at the clouds. You have to let it go. You have to let him go.

My hands felt numb from the cold. My eyes slowly open when I felt someone picking me up from the ground. It was dark around me. I could see the moon through the trees. My vision was blurry, but I could see the light shining through the trees. I didn't know that I have falling asleep on he ground in the forest. I look to the person who was carrying me.

"Connor?" He look down at me and gave me a small smile.

"It's okay Hazel I'm taking you home." I nodded my head laying my head on his shoulder. We made our way back to my house. When he walked through the door I could hear some one walking. "Oh my god Hazel! Thank god you found her."

Connor place me on the couch before answering. "She's alright." My eyes were sill close I could feel a blanket being laid on me.

"Where did you find her." Someone sat at the end of my feet.

"She was laying on the ground in the forest." A sighed escape Libby's lips.

It was the lasting I heard before falling asleep.

There was a pounding in my head when I woke up. I open my eyes and looked around. Sunshine was coming through my curtains. Birds were flying outside. Libby was asleep at my feed with a blanket wrapped tightly around her. On the ground next to me was Connor asleep.

They didn't left me alone last night. Silently and carefully I stood up from the couch and walk to the kitchen. I lean on the counter looking down. I need to get everything together. He's gone accept that. You have power to save people lives. And all you do is cry.

People need you to be strong for them, to fight evil. You are strong Hazel. You have lost many people you loved and still you're here standing. You have the power to help other, so do it.

"Good morning." I was snapped out my thoughts when Connor walks into the kitchen.

"Good morning." We were both silent after that.

How am I gonna explain to him what I was doing in the forest. "So do you want to tell me what happened?" I shrug my shoulders looking away.

"C'mon Hazel the past couple of months you haven't been yourself and last night you just disappeared without telling us." He wasn't angry more concern about me. I really scared him last night and Libby.

"Con I'm sorry, but-"

"But you can't tell me why. Hazel you been saying that for so long. Don't you trust us? We have been there for you for so long." I wanted to say something when Libby came in.

"Con don't say that! All that matters now is that she's save and here with us." Connor huffed looking away.

"And if she's ready she will tell us." Libby came to me and gave me a side hug. That's why I love her so much. She gets me without me telling her what I feel.

"Yeah. I'm gonna shower." He walked out the room leaving me and Libby alone.

Libby let out a sighed before turning to me. "Hazel don't be mad at him. He's just... He was just really worried about you when you were gone and last night." I smile looking at her.

"Libby it's okay. He's just looking after for me." I had to tell them one day, but not now.

I need to think first before I tell them. Maybe their gonna think I'm a freak, but I don't care. I can't live with this as a secret for them. They deserve to know. I wish I could talk to my grandmother about this. She would have know what I have to do.

Or Lina.

I miss her and Ray of course. I'm wondering if they're okay. Let's hope that Mafalda haven't attack the castle again or any other land for that matter. The las thing it heard from my grandma about her was that a lot of people have join her side. Her army is getting stronger every day.

People are giving up hope.

They think that we're gonna lose so they join her side because there afraid, afraid of her. There was a time that I wanted to go back, but my grandma told me that I was saver here then there. Why would I be saver here. I don't have anyone to protect me. But she said that two people are looking over me. I didn't know what she meant by that because I never saw someone.

For now I have to stay here and wait what will happen next.
