(Scene:Beach)

"Hehe nice day we have here huh." "It is nice, to be honest it is a miracle that even in the rainy season a good sunny day like that is here."

One man, One woman. Two people of the opposite gender are talking like they knew each other for quite a while, heck they even look intimate to each other. This type of scene would really make people think that these two are in a relationship, but the thing is they aren't in one.

"First lieutenant Mike don't you think its weird?" ask the woman to the person named Mike as it seems.

"Just lieutenant Stace, don't put to much honorifics and what do you mean weird?" ask Mike to the woman or Stace, as what Mike has said.

"I mean first- uhh cough cough lieutenant Mike, you see we've been getting a lot of signal no.3 to 5 storms lately. Even the news said it would last a whole 2 months. And yet now a "Sunny Bright Day" comes out. Addition to that, half of Luzon was covered by the storm yesterday! The storm couldn't have just pack up and dispersed like that you know!" said Stace seemingly bewildered to the recent happenings on the country.

"Watch your tone Corporal, but i do admit that these happenings are too sudden. Phivolcs and the american science team are also on it, but yet again no piece of news or any theories on such a happening have ever been recorded in history. Which gives quite a debate on what's the true reason of dispersal of the storm. But lets not worry too much, japanese and russian scientists are also coming to investigate this phenomenon as well so the only thing we could do is wait. Said Mike.

"I sure do hope so that we could wait for a long time Lieutenant, but i just can't get this feeling of inside me." (Stace)

(I'm gonna put this things --> (Stace) or (Mike) stuff so i won't repeat saying said Mike or Said Stace and stuff like that okay)

"And what is that feeling Stace?" (Mike)

"That something bad is gonna happen feeling." (Stace with a complicated look)

Just as. First Lieutenant Mike was about to reprimand Stace for saying such bad unlucky type of words he noticed something in the horizon.

"Mhmm, what is that?" (Mike)

Stace took a look at where Mike was looking at the moment but didn't see anything. However when she took a second 'intent' look at the horizon she somehow faintly see a fog of some sort coming near the coast.

(Russian private jet)

"To all passengers this is captain Albert and we are now approaching Philippine airlines. Please put on your seatbelts for we are about to land."(Albert)

The russian private jet or better called the 'Russian science team' has now arrived at the Philippines. These people were tasked to 'investigate' the 'unknown happenings' that had just happened.

"Tower this is RPJ-07 requesting to land, over."(Albert)

"This is tower, over. You are clear to land at runway two-seven over."

(Few moments later)

"Good afternoon Mr.Viktor. I am lieutenant Mark and behind me is my team, we are tasked to receive your team and to ensure the russian team's safety. For now the japanese team has been waiting for some time now and is awaiting your arrival at the lobby. So may i?" (Mark)

"..... Lead the way lieutenant." (Viktor)

Scene: Lobby

"Captain the russian team is here."(Mark)

"Alright you did your job, I'll handle the honorifics."(Captain--don't have name yet)

The captain of the whole escort team went to the japanese science team and told them to meet up with the russians. The japanese took a look at their representative, Nagato Ito.

"Alright lets go."(Nagato)

And so the two went to the russians to introduce each others teams. Of course this is done so as to avoid certain problems in cooperating as such happenings in the past.

"Good afternoon fellow workers. I am Nagato, the representative of the JST (Japanese Science Team). May i know whose representative the russian team has?"(Nagato)

"Me, the names Viktor. May we be able to cooperate properly on this investigation." said Viktor with a little competitive tone.

"Yes,'may' we be able to cooperate properly." said Nagato with a sigh. Evidently he knows what the other party is referring. With such a phenomenon happening, the first to know it's reason would surely be able to leave ones name in history.

Seeing that introductions are done the captain of the escort group was about to lead the two out of the airport and head straight to the designated destination until he receive an order from Main H.Q.

"What? Get the science teams to safety? Why, what's going on?!" says the captain on the radio with a loud voice. This also got noticed by everyone on the lobby since it echoed loudly.

"Captain, is there anything wrong?" ask Viktor, looking at the captain. Nagato also looked at the captain with a face saying wanting to know what's happening at the moment.

The captain took a look at them and said "I don't know, all i know is that the country stated a nationwide emergency putting the risk at code 8. Our team have received orders to get you and the japanese team to safety."

Seemingly bewildered to the recent happenings, Nagato asked "What's code 8?"

"Code 8 is the most critical signal for an emergency, it includes military force of all kinds to be mobilized."

Shock was instantly on the faces of Viktor and Nagato, at the same time the troops at the escort team have grave faces. Viktor and Nagato rushed went to their teams to move out immediately but then suddenly a siren was heard, no it's not just one, but 8 sirens to be exact.

All types electronics, phones, tablets, television, etc received messages and news to evacuate and stay on their homes. Military force inside the country was mobilized everywhere immediately, while the military force outside the country was to return at now. At this moment no one knows what's going to happen.

The Capital, Manila is emptied, no not just Manila but all the cities on the country are emptied. Coupled by the fact that this places has the 'fog' that encroached the whole country. One could say that this are ghost cities.

Except that two silhouettes that is."clear". Said the man looking silhouette the woman went ahead to one corner and said the same thing "clear". The two did the same thing over and over until the woman broke it.

"Sir, do you know what did this?" said the woman. "I ain't no scientist how am i suppose to know." replied the man back.

If one took a look closely the woman would be recognized as Stace while The man as Mike that came from the beach earlier.

What are these two doing? Well that's simple earlier, all units were ordered too go back to base and report. This is done to avoid misconception of identities seeing that due to the 'fog' giving the military limited sight.

"Base on the signals from the radio, the delta base is just around here."(Mike)

Mike using a signal reader said so. Signal readers are a common product in this futuristic world. It was made to make sure citizens don't follow fake calls or signals that would lead them to anomalous areas.

"Here's the base, lets go" said Mike in a rushed but hushed tone. Stace just nodded and followed Mike.

(In the base)

"T2 any visuals?" one soldier asked on the radio. "None over." replied back by the person receiving the call. "Copy" said the soldier. This soldier receiving this reports is actually the one in charge of the base. He is a colonel and his name is Antonio.

"CB this is tower 3 and i see two silhouettes on my sights, waiting for orders on what to do." Said the person on the radio who was stationed at tower 3.

"Copy, activate share visuals over." replied the colonel Antonio.

"Copy" replied the person on the radio.

Then a few moments later 4 out of 8 screens inside the CB(Center base) was seeing what the tower was seeing. As the person said there were two silhouettes on his vision, then the colonel said

"Send a team and get them on checked".

"Yes sir" replied the people inside the CB.

(Few moments later)

"Sir here to report on the two people earlier." saying the soldier who went to check the 'two' people earlier.

"Say it."said the colonel.

"Yes sir, the man is first lieutenant Mike Andres while the woman is second lieutenant Stacy Elnozo. It seems like they were trying to get to the closest base which is ours on the area." said the soldier on his report.

"I see you may go now, also call those two here i want to talk to them." said the colonel to the soldier.

"Yes sir" replied the soldier.

Meanwhile a few kilometers away from here, a van seems to be moving fast. Like its trying to escape from something.

"Hello this is captain Ronaldo, the one tasked to escort the science teams to safety. Is there a nearby base around here over." (yey i finally thought of a name for this dude)

Few moments after saying his message on the radio captain Ronaldo received a reply.

"This is colonel Carl of Alpha base we received your message of urgency and will now lead you to a safe route we prepared. Be careful out there, we suggest following the signal path we are sending on foot." said the colonel.

"What why! Can't you see the urgency we need?!" said captain Ronaldo in high tone as of now due to his nervousness.

"Well, there are multiple hidden hostiles on the area, i also lost 6 men trying to rid of those things so unless you want to attract their attention you better go in foot than a vehicle! " said the colonel in an angry tone.

Realizing the possibilities of hostiles attacking the bases around the area, captain Ronaldo stopped the vehicle in a corner then told the team to move on foot he also told the team to stay vigilant. This in turn increased the pressure on the already pressurized escort team. Now the only thing they can do is pray that nothing bad happens.

(Inside Alpha Base)

"Colonel what do you think it is?" asked the second in command lieutenant colonel, Hans.

"Don't ask me lieutenant, even i don't know what it is. the only thing we can come close is that it looks like a damn lizard with wings." replied the colonel.

"Hmm, form multiple teams and get the escort teams with the scientists, they might get a stuff on what this thing is." ordered colonel Carl. "Yes sir" replied the Hans.

(1100 meters from the Alpha base)

In an alleyway, the escort team slowly creep up at the corner of a building. by following the signals transmitted to them, they slowly got close to the base.

"How long till we get to the base?" asked Nagato, the Japanese Science Team representative.

"Not long till we get there, by crossing that corner over there we should see the gates to the base" replied Ronaldo.

" I see lets move." said Viktor.

Ronaldo took a look at his team and nodded. The team is composed of 20 units so the formation that they decided is 5 - front, 9 - side, 6 - back. This formation is known for its tactical defense especially for escorting important people.

The team made its move, moving to the corner as fast as they can.

Ronaldo at the rear signaled the five in front to move first, the five nodded and readied there MPH-900's. The gun were known for its burst fire of 900 rounds in a minute, it was also known for its explosive rounds every 100th shot and for its powerful electromagnetic batteries.

The five moved and aimed their guns the moment they moved out of the corner.

However they saw nothing but barbed wires and wrecked gates, they didn't know what happened but they have to give a signal so they checked the area.

Seeing that the area is clear they signaled the team too move but then the next scene shocked the whole group. Two men suddenly lost half of their bodies, blood spraying everywhere. the team team was stunned by the sudden happening that the unknown attacker took the chance to take one more man down cutting that person into two.

The team finally got rid of their shock when Ronaldo shouted "Fire!!!".

With this, all units aimed their firearms at the unknown attacker creating a very much loud noise.

'tatatatatatattatattatata'

The attacker immediately received multiple shots, making it grunt and roar loudly. With this it immediately fled.

Seeing this, the team started making a dash for it.

With 7 guarding the perimeter around while the remaining 10 hastily leads the scientist team to the Alpha base. "Alpha base this is captain Ronaldo, we are under attack by an unknown enemy! We have 3 casualties! we need back up now!" Captain Ronaldo said in panic.

Not knowing what kind of enemy they are facing gave him fear he had not known before. As said, the unknown is way worst than the known.

The receiver knowing the situation is dire base on captain Ronaldo's words and tone immediately reported to the colonel.

"Get all the nearby teams to go on the area you received the call, we need to get that team to safety!" shouted the colonel.

....

Meanwhile Captain Ronaldo and his team went inside a building, seeing that its clear he signaled the 9 soldiers and the 10 scientists to enter immediately. Then he took a look at the 7 watching the perimeters then signaled them too get in fast.

The 7 soldiers saw his signaled then moved but then they suddenly heard a shrieked behind them. When they took a look they say a huge claw, huge enough to cover half of the human body. The 3 men that was running a little slower than the four got sliced in half in an instant, seeing this the other four raised their guns then started firing.

The electromagnetic rounds punched a hole through its body like it was nothing, causing it shrieked loudly.

When Captain Ronaldo heard the shrieked he recognized the sound as an eagle cry, but he was flabbergasted cause when the unknown attacker fell, it look like an eagle but with 2 huge claws and has back legs which look like a lion.

Seeing the attacker fall, the four relaxed and started running to Captain Ronaldo's location as fast as they can.

But then another of the same look as the attacker came down, seeing this the four couldn't help but shout loudly as they were caught by surprise.

"What are you doing shouting like that!!!! Get here now we'll cover you!!" shouted Captain Ronaldo.

The four hearing this started running, the new attacker on the other hand was about to attack the four but then stopped and flap its wings around it self for no reason.

With this Captain Ronaldo took the chance to say 'open fire' but before he could say it, flames appeared out of nowhere. The flames were directed to their attacker then went through his men.

Captain Ronaldo was shocked and the people near him as well as the scientists was shocked when they saw the flames. The four soldiers being engulfed on it didn't even have a chance to shout before dying.

Right after that they just heard booming noises, explosions and more.
Then a roar was heard, a roar so hard it could make one deaf. Crashing sounds were then heard and the area around them started to collapse.

Captain Ronaldo then only saw a group of silhouettes moving towards them with a faint voice of "Go! Move!"
Then he lost consciousness.

Beep.....beep......beep

Captain Ronaldo slowly opened his eyes, what he first saw was the monitor beside him reading his heart rate and pulse, and a nurse tending to him.

The nurse seeing Captain Ronaldo waking up left, the nurse then came back with two men.

"How you doin Captain, I am Colonel Carl the one on my side is Lieutenant colonel Hans. We would to talk to you for a moment. Is that fine?" asked Carl with a question.

(8 hours later)

Scene: Delta Base

"Mhmm i got it. Okay" Colonel Antonio putting down his radio with a grave face then took a look at his personel and ordered loudly.

"Get all the defenses we setted up loaded and ready, i just received news from Alpha ,they received multiple casualties from attacks they didn't expect. I want everything on the red." said Colonel Antonio with a grave and serious tone.

Sensing the pressure all the personel and units in the base started to move.

While everyone was hustling and bustling a soldier went up to the colonel and whispered something.

The colonel went to his room (on the temporary base) and opened his Worldpad. On the screen a middle age man appeared and said,

"Did you get attacked?" said the middle age man.

"No sir" replied Antonio.

"I see, tighten up your defenses, we will be sending more sup---". (Middle age man)

'Wernnngk wernnggk'

Before the middle age man could finish, a loud alarm was heard. The screen turned red, and the middle age man shouted.

"Whats going on!".

"Were loosing contact with satellite A, B, and C. The fleets moving on our PAR also became non-visible. The fog also starts to get denser and we lost contact from multiple bases on a nationwide scale!" replied one personel in the CC.

"Losing contact!! All ships and fleets return to homeland!!, I repeat all ships return to home---" one personel shouted but his line got cut suddenly.

Captain Antonio was shocked to hear what was happening over there.

Multiple bases losing Contact?!
Satellites gone?!!
Fleets disappearing?!?!

He coudn't believe what was said that he almost shouted over if not for someone going in his room to disturb him.

But this person had an expression of panic before saying "Sir the fog around the base starts to dense we could hardly see anything!!"

Hearing what that peraon said, the Colonel's expression became grave. The middle age man who was about to say something to colonel Antonio heard what that person said as well.

The middle age man said two words. He said "EVACUATE NOW!!" Antonio didn't watse time and immediately issued the alarm and said on the speakers "Evacuate, all personel are to be evacuated!!"

He tried to contact other bases near them but found out he couldn't contact them. Them someone shouted "What is that!?!". When Antonio took a look. What he saw was a bright light, bright enough to blind anyone.

That was the last thing he saw before leaving in this world.
