Everyone heads to the New Hunter Orientation to receive their hunter license and to be acquainted to the pros and cons of being a hunter. The one who will explain the rules and regulation is the chairman himself.

"Ahem! The Hunter Association is a non-governmental organization responsible for the testing and licensing of "Hunters", individuals who have proven themselves through the rigorous exam to be elite members of humanity. With the passing of the Hunter Exam, an applicant is rewarded with a license to go almost anywhere in the world and do almost anything, thus declaring them Hunters. Typically, Hunters devote themselves to tracking down priceless items, mystical places, and the unseen wonders of the world."

THE PROFESSION

A Hunter's job is not only that of looking for treasures and hunting animals. True Hunters dedicate themselves to the protection of knowledge, people, and nature. They must preserve culturally precious items or species of animals and plants they are able to discover. Furthermore, they must also arrest criminals and in rare cases even fellow Hunters who have committed heinous crimes. A "hunt" can range from a task commissioned by a client to one ordered by the higher-ups of the organization, to a quest a Hunter goes on of their own volition.

PERKS AND COMMUNICATIONS OF THE HUNTER LISENCE

A Hunter License is a type of card given exclusively to Hunters after they pass the Hunter Exam which proves the status of the owner and has multiple benefits. It provides free access to most of the public services and permission to go almost anywhere in the world without a visa. It also grants the ability to kill without facing major legal consequences, although there are exceptions. A Hunter License also grants access to guarded information as well as being an easy way to get jobs. Furthermore, there are collectors willing to buy it for a fortune that would sustain the Hunter's family for generations.

HUNTER WEBSITE

By typing the correct URL, inserting the code of one's license and swiping it into any computer, a Hunter is able to access Hunters' Tavern, a Hunter-only website where all manners of information unretrievable through other means can be purchased.

Q
By sending a 9-digit code to a phone company owned by the Hunter Association, a Hunter can send and receive messages via Q, a software that leaves no logs or call history and that cannot be detected by regular wiretapping systems.

HUNTER CODE

Hunters have a simple code to transmit secret messages to each other. When a sentence starts with a number, such as a time, each figure refers to a part of the corresponding sentence, whereas the rest of that sentence must be ignored. For example, if a Hunter prefaced their message with "13:44", the receiver would have to consider only the first part of the first sentence, the third part of the second one, the fourth part of the third sentence, and the fourth part of the fourth one.

The Hunter Association has it's own sets of rules and regulation entitled Hunter Bylaws or Ten Hunter Articles which every Hunter must follow.

1.Hunters must always be on the hunt for something.

2.Hunters must have a minimal understanding of martial arts. This includes learning Nen.

*Kakin bodyguards who passed the 289th Hunter Exam are not required to know Nen and are designated as Provisional Hunters.

3.Once a Hunter is licensed, that license cannot be revoked for any reason. However, a license will not be reissued for any reason.

4.Hunters shall not target other Hunters unless they commit heinous crimes.

5.One star is given to a Hunter who produces remarkable achievements in a particular field.

6.Two stars are given to a Hunter who fulfills the Five Articles, holds an official position and has mentored a junior Hunter who is awarded a star.

7.Three stars are given to a Hunter who fulfills the Six Articles and produces remarkable achievements in multiple fields.

8.The chief executive of the Hunter Association must earn the confidence of a majority of his colleagues. When the position of chairman is vacated, the vote to elect the next chairman must be conducted at once, and deputy power is given to the vice-chairman in the meantime.

9.The authority to decide on a method to select new members is given to the chairman. However, to significantly change the existing methods requires the confidence of a majority of colleagues.

10.Any matter not mentioned here will be decided in a cabinet consisting of the chairman, vice-chairman and staff advisers. The chairman has the authority to select the vice-chairman and staff.

"That includes everything you need to know to be a proper hunter. Good day everyone and may the odds be in your favor." Netero said as he bowed and went his way to his office to fend an army of a Leaders's worst enemy, paperwork.

After the lecture Kurapika and Leorio presented their suspicion towards Illumi for possible manipulation or other acts that would result to Killua's sudden different behavior. Netero has his own suspicions but cannot revoke Illumi's license without evidence. Mid-conversation during the discussion whether Illumi's liensce should be revoked, Pokkle finds Kurapika suspicious during the his fight when Hisoka mentions something to Kurapika and forfeits.

Gon who had awakened during the orientation, heard the news of Killua's disqualification courtesy of Satots taking the time to tell him every detail of what had taken place. He was mad and upset at Illumi and decided to confront him, still dressed by bandages. He slammed the door open. Everyone's focused at the green haired boy, who payed no heed to them. He's features is calm yet his anger is evident.

"Apologize to Killua", Gon said facing Illumi.

"Apologize? for what? I don't know why?, Killua is a killer by nature. I just made him remember that". Illumi said sparing a side glance.

"You're wrong", Gon stated, standing his ground.

Illumi's eyes narrowed, "Could you leave Killua alone. If you get involved..."

"I refuse so tell me, tell me where Killua is?" Gon said grabbing Illumi's hand and gripping it tightly.

"Even if I knew where he is. Why would I tell you?", Illumi said but Gon's grip tightens more almost breaking his bones. Illumi stared at his arm which is gripped by Gon, not speaking as if contemplating something.

A few minutes passed and everyone was holding their breath until Illumi's lips started to move, "Kukuroo Mountain, Republic of Padokea." Hearing this Gon stared at Illumi looking for a hint of lies, deeming what he said as the truth he loosened his grip and let his wrist go from captivity.

"Me and my friends will take back Killua", Gon proclaimed and he went to sit with his friends. As Gon was climbing the stairs to the end lane of seats, Illumi caught Tsuna staring at him disappointingly.

S**t! Those eyes, Why is he disappointed at me? wait, why am I bothered. Illumi thought, his expression morphed in to confusion, which was seen by Tsuna and Hisoka but it quickly disappeared.

Why did he looked confused the moment we met our eyes? Tsuna thought for a while deciding to give up after a while.

Hisoka's eyes almost bulged out of its sockets, An expression, for all the years we've been friends he shows expression now...... was it because- Hisoka's pair of eyes looked at a 12 year old brunette thinking hard about something, It could not be, that stiff guy never took interest to anyone except his own family. Hisoka thought as he shook his head for the impossible possibility. But for good measures I'll have to warn Illumi that Gon and Tsuna is MY prey to devour.

Gon claims that Illumi is not qualified to be Killua's brother. Illumi asks if one needs a qualification to be a brother. Gon, further angered, lifts Illumi up using one hand and breaks his arm. Netero, who was discussing the topic with everyone else before Gon came in, notes that they are examining the nature of Killua's act. The verdict they arrive at is that Killua was rightfully disqualified, but he is still eligible for the following year's exam.

Illumi, aware that Gon would not stop bothering him until he knows where Killua is, tells Gon that Killua went home to . He is later seen discussing with Hisoka on the matter. Hisoka asks Illumi if it was a good idea for him to reveal the location where Killua was. Illumi says that the location is already famous and that there is no harm in revealing it to Gon. Illumi thinks that Gon is dangerous and suggests that it would be best if he killed him, but Hisoka warns him that Gon will only die by his hands.

After long hours of sitting and listening, the orientation has come to an end. Everyone was bustling with newfound energy, full of thoughts of new opportunities and possibilities of what they can do with their own license. Gon's group of friends are about to step out of the room but was stopped by Satotz congratulating them for being a hunter and receiving their license. Each end of the mustache twitched upward, from your viewpoint it is what you'd call a smile as he tells the group that even with a license the exam is still not finished. He was answered by a couple of confused faces and a few groans as he walked away not offering an explanation.

Pokkle saw Gon's group of friends and quickly went to their location after he saw Satotz left. He apologizes to Kurapika for his suspicions, claiming the end of the exam seemed anti-climactic and admitted that he was dissatisfied with his own "default" win. He gives his home code to Kurapika and the rest of the group before departing to become a successful Hunter of Fantastic Beasts after obtaining his license.

Tsuna became curious at the mention of Hunter of Fantastic Beasts and asked Pokkle for more information of the different types before he could walked away.

"These are the types of hunter: Botanical, Card, Crime, Cute, Disease, Hacker, Head, Jackpot, Lost, Music, Paleograph, Poacher, Poison, Problem, Sea, Terrorist, Virus, Blacklist, Beast, Gourmet, Ruins and Treasure Hunter. For example, Beast Hunter is a type of Hunter who feels a deep love for nature; their job involves the study and preservation of undiscovered animal species. There are two other known types of Hunter that could possibly be considered subcategories of Beast Hunter".

1. The Hunter of Fantastic Beasts who specifically searches the world for scientifically undocumented animals.

2. The Unidentified Beast Hunter original name probably meaning "UMA (Unidentified Mysterious Animal) whose field of activity is related to cryptids, creatures like animals, and even plants, with questioned existence thought to be extinct or not to exist (e.g. many of the mythical, folkloric, paranormal, and supernatural "entities").

"So that's all the types of hunter. May I ask what type of hunter are you pursuing?" Pokkle asks, curious as to what Tsuna would want to be, seeing him do greatly in the exam.

"Hmmm, I don't know yet. I haven't thought much about it. For know I'm looking for information on how to go to a place which is somehow unknown to people or even cease to exist." Tsuna said carefully to not give too much information.

"Then I suggest you inquire to a Ruins Hunter, whose dedicated to uncovering, restoring, and preserving ruins in order to "revive" ancient societies. They travel a lot, discovering places which most people believe that does not exist. It is also their job to protect the location from the wrong hands. The are only two Ruins Hunter there is, one is Satotz and the other one is Ging Freecss. That's all I know. Bye! Good luck with your journey." Pokkle said leaving as he waves his right hand as a farewell.

Hmmm. Satotz? I know for sure that he doesn't know exactly how to go back to my world since he was there along with the proctors when Netero said that he gates through this world are guarded by seven flame beasts resembling the colors of the rainbow though there are records showing that a chosen few from a selected time and place were able to make it outside. The gates always changes location that is why it is hard to find it. So I guess I have to find Ging then, wait! Freecss, Freecss........Freecss...where did I heard that name before?

"Tsuna! hurry up, we have to catch a ride." Gon shouted, breaking Tsuna from his deep thinker.

"I'm coming Gon! Wait Up!" Tsuna said as he ran to the group. Wait, Gon and Ging, freecss. Don't Tell me....

"Gon! your father is Ging Freecss?!" Tsuna shouted startling the group, both because of the sudden pitch and the shocking truth.

"Yeah! how'd you know?" Gon said grinning from ear to ear.
