***Serena's POV

I try to control my crying, but I can't turn off the waterworks.

"It's my fault. I hurt him."

Braixen looks and taps my shoulder.

"Brai! Braixen, Brai!"

Braixen is staring at me with sad eyes.

"But this had to be done, didn't it? I did the right thing?"

Braixen nods, and hugs me.

Then why does it feel so wrong and hurt so much?

"Pichu pi!"

We turn and watch as Pichu and Umberon rush into the lobby and head towards Nidoqueen's room. Pichu jumps in the air, and uses Iron Tail on the door to force it open. As they try to enter, Pichu gasps and jumps away from the doorway, dodging a Hyper Beam. Umberon quickly uses Protect and takes the Hyper Beam.

"What is going on?" I ask. Braixen points towards Jason's Pokemon.

"Of course! Let's help out!" I say, as I force myself up and wipe away the few tears on my face.

Pichu rushes in the room with Umberon following closely behind.

Braixen and I follow them inside moments later, and I gasp as I watch Umberon uses Shadow Ball on Aggron, giving Pichu an opening at Swampert, who's standing over Nidoqueen, powering up a Brick Break attack. Nidoqueen weakly holds her hands up to protect herself.

"Pichu!" Pichu cries as he uses Thunder Wave to stop Swampert. The attack hits and Swampert cried out in pain, being paralyzed on spot. Pichu's tail develops a Silver glow as he lands a Iron Tail on Swampert, sending him away from Nidoqueen.

"Braixen, use Fire Blast on Aggron!" I order, and Braixen quickly obeys, launching the powerful fire type attack against Aggron. Aggron roars in pain as the attack hits him in the chest, forcing him to fall backwards against the wall.

Braixen and I quickly make our way to Nidoqueen, who's slowly getting out of her bed.

"Nidoqueen! Are you ok? Please, lay back down!" I plead, as I grab her arm. Nidoqueen shakes her head and points over to a corner. There, laying motionless on the ground is Nidoran, blood covering her fur.

"Oh no."

Nidoqueen roars weakly, as she turns towards Aggron. Pichu circles Swampert as he tries to get up, ready to strike again.

Nidoqueen starts to power up a Hyper Beam at the hurt Aggron. Aggron roars at her, but she ignores him and continues powering up her attack. Just as Nidoqueen is about to launch it, the wall that separate Nidoqueen's and Nidoking's room breaks, and a body flies through it, hitting Nidoqueen, causing her Hyper Beam to hit part of the roof, causing the rubble to fall down on us.

Nidoqueen is thrown into the opposite wall, where they create a big hole. I look over towards Nidoking's room, and through the hole in that wall Hariyama and Garchamp walk in. Garchamp eyes me, and smirks.

I gulp.

This can't be good.

Garchamp's claw starts glowing green, and he lunges straight at us.

I try to order a command, but Garchamp is too quick. I feel the energy buzzing off his claw when Umberon suddenly appears in front of us, and jumps on top of Braixen and I, then next thing I know we're back in the lobby. Umberon jumps off of us and quickly teleports back into the other room.

"Brai!"

Braixen points at the wall that was destroyed by Nidoqueen's body. There, Nidoqueen and Nidoking are lying on the ground, buried in rubble. Nidoking slowly gets up, but Nidoqueen doesn't.

"Nidoqueen!" I yell as I rush over.

Nidoking buries her out of the rubble, and shakes her but she doesn't move. I kneel next to Nidoqueen and lay my head on her chest, hoping to find a heartbeat.

But I don't hear anything.

"Nidoking, s-s-she's gone."

Nidoking sadly looks at Nidoqueen, then looks over at Hariyama and Garchamp are roars, shaking the whole Pokemon Center.

Umberon and Pichu jump to Nidoking's side. One of my Pokeballs opens up and Minun pops out, and points at Pichu.

"Go ahead. I'll be here to help the best I can," I say, as Minun smiles and joins Pichu. Pichu quickly hugs her and looks at Swampert.

Nidoking then charges, headed straight for Hariyama, shaking the whole building with each step, his head lowered so he can use his horn. Hariyama grabs him and tries to counter, but continues to be pushed back towards the wall they came in through.

Garchamp glares at me again and tries to move toward me, only to get hit by a Shadow Ball from Umberon, who then follows through with a Quick Attack.

Pichu and Minun double team on Swampert. Pichu lands a Thunder Punch while Minun lands an Ice Punch, on Swampert's side.

"Braixen, Fire Blast again!"

Braixen quickly raises her branch and unleash another powerful fire type attack. I watch as it hits Aggron and he lets out a roar in pain.

"Yes! We got him!"

My smile quickly vanishes, as I see Nidoking on the ground in front of Aggron, covered in ash and burn marks. I look over and see Hariyama dust off her palms.

She tossed Nidoking in front of my attack by using Vital Throw!

"No!" I yell.

Hariyama and Aggron slowly come my way. I look over and see Umberon struggling to dodge Garchamp's attacks, while Pichu and Minun are quickly finishing up Swampert.

"Braixen, Hidden Power on Hariyama!" I yell, as Braixen powers and fires her attack. Hariyama easily dodges the attack. Aggron's right claw starts to light up.

"Fire Blast!"

Braixen fires another one. Aggron counters with Iron Claw, still taking damage but not enough to knock him out.

They're even closer.

"Minun! Pichu! Double combo now!"

I turn and see Jason appear a few feet to the left of me, near the main desk.

Pichu hits Swampert with one last Iron Tail, then grabs Minun's paws, who begins to twirl. He quickly gathers enough momentum and launches Minun straight towards Hariyama. Minun powers the Ice Punch in the air, and hits Hariyama in the chest, freezing a section of her chest.

Jason stands next to me. His bad shoulder is bleeding once again, and drops the sword in his hand.

"You need more fire power to end Aggron," Jason mutters as he makes his way towards Nidoqueen.

I take his advice and pull out Charmander.

"Charmander, Flamethrower! Braixen, Fire Blast let's go!"

My both of my Pokemon fire their attacks on the Aggron. They're both direct hits, and Aggron shrieks as he falls to the ground.

"Good job guys!"

Charmander and Braixen cheer for a brief second, then turn over to Jason, who's holding Nidoqueen's paw. Minun and Pichu are currently finishing off Hariyama and Umberon is keep Garchomp busy.

"Should I go over there guys?"

Charmander shrugs, while Braixen nods.

Looks like I'm going.

As I'm able to take a step, I feel someone shove me to the ground. I yelp as I fall and hit the ground. Charmander and Braixen come to my aid, but we watch as Maximum heads towards Jason, a knife in hand.

"Jason! Look out!"

But it's too late. Jason turns around, and he tries to react but Maximum is literally inches away from driving the knife into his body. A big purple figure runs in front of Jason, and the knife goes into his chest instead of his.

"Nidoking no!"

Nidoking groans as Maximum shoves the knife deeper, once he realized that he didn't hit his target.

"Drew! What have you done!"

Oh. So it is true.

Drew, Jason's childhood friend, is Maximum.

Jason tackles Drew to the ground, as he tries to pin him down.

"Garchomp! Dragon Claw on Jason then Dracor Meteor!"

Garchamp takes off from his battle and heads straight for Jason.

"Flamethrower Charmander!" I yell. Charmander shoots a Flamethrower at Garchomp, but he simply goes through it and tries to hit Jason, but like before, Nidoking steps in and is launched towards the entrance.

"No!"

Jason quickly lets go and runs towards Nidoking.

Garchomp then shoots a ball of energy in the air, leaving a big hole in the ceiling.

"Time to destroy any evidence," Drew says. He then picks up the sword and heads towards me.

Before I can even react, Umberon appears in front of me, growling.

"What? You want to meet up with your friends? I can arrange that for you," he saws as he swings back. As he tries to swing down, vines wrap around the handle of the sword and pull it back, causing Drew to fall back.

Then, the building again to be bombarded from the Draco Meteor attack. It began to shake violently as multiple hits raining down, destroying the Pokemon Center.

"Return your Pokemon now!"

I quickly obey, even though I have no who's voice it is.

Once I'm done, vines wrap around my waist, and begin to pull me out of the Pokemon Center through a big hole in the wall.

"Jason!"

He doesn't say anything.

He stays there, petting Nidoking. Out of the corner of my eye I see a Charizard land right by the entrance, and reach in to grab Jason.

The sun's late rays blind me for a brief second once I'm outside. As my eyes adjust I'm carried into the forest. I travel for a second until I'm set on the ground, and I'm face to face with a Venasaur, and his trainer is next to him. He looks a lot like Ash, but he's alot older, and is wearing a red jacket.

"Hey, you must be Serena. I'm Red!" The man says, reaching out for a handshake. I slowly reach out and shake his hand.

He must be who Yellow was talking about.

"Sorry for just pulling you out like that. I was told not to show my face, otherwise I would've grabbed you myself," Red explains as he leans against Venasaur.

"Thanks a lot, but you forgot-"

"Jason? Don't worry, he's fine. Look!" Red points behind me. And behind me I see Jason carrying Minun in his hands, who jumps out and runs towards me.

Next to Jason is a big with long spikey brown hair and has a purple shirt and black pants. He wears a white cape as well.

"You guys ready to go?" The man asks, as a Charizard lands next to him.

"I am!" Red says as he unleashes an Aerodactyl and returns Venasaur. Jason brings out Charizard. He slowly climbs on. He gestures towards me, and I slowly listen.

"Oh! The guy on the Charizard with the fancy looking cape is Blue!" Red yells as he goes up in the air, with Blue following.

We slowly trail behind, with no exchange of words.
