***Serena's POV

I slowly open my eyes.

I'm in the middle of a very calm, and peaceful forest.

Pokemon are on their merry way, without a worry in the world. They happily talk to each other and play in the trees.

To the left of me. water rushes in a river in a powerful, yet gentle, current.

"It's beautiful, isn't it?"

There's a woman in brown clothing. She wears a straw hat with her blonde hair spilling out, as she's sitting alone the riverbank, a fishing pole in hand.

"Yeah, it definitely is," I say, slowly getting up. My body aches as I force my muscles to move.

"Are you ok? You've been there for such a long time. I didn't even notice you were there and I've been here for hours," she says, as a Pikachu with a flower tucked behind her ear runs up to her and jumps in her lap.

"Oh, hey Chu! I missed you!"

I watch as she hugs Chu, and Chu seems to speak to her. She then closes her eyes and presses her hand against Chu's forehead.

"Oh!"

She then opens her eyes, picks up her stuff and walks towards me.

"I'm ok, thanks for-"

She grabs my hand and starts leading me deeper into the forest.

What is going on?

"Uh, excuse me, but I have to find people, because you see, I kinda just-"

"Fell from the sky, yeah I know," the woman answer as we push through a couple of bushes.

"How do you know? You just said you didn't know! And who are you!"
I yell, trying to break free.

Man, she's really hooked on to me.

She stops, and I nearly fall on top of her.

"Oh, I'm sorry, I got distracted and forgot to introduce myself! My name is Yellow, and this here is Chu!"

"Pika!" Chu says, walking up and rubbing against my leg.

"You're so cute!" I say, petting her.

"She is, isn't she? Now, we have to keep moving!" Yellow says, grabbing my hand once again.

"Why?"

"Because, Chu said there's lots of fighting going on and we have to find somewhere safe," she says, leading me in between two trees.

"Chu said?"

"Yeah!"

She can talk to Pokemon too?

She suddenly stops, and puts her index finger on her lips. She focuses for a brief second, then tackles me to the ground. A purple tail crashes down where we just were.

"Nidoking!"

A huge muscular purple Pokemon pops out of the shadows, roaring at us.

I scream.

"Chu, use Thunderbolt!"

"Chuu!"

The attack hits the Pokemon, but he quickly shakes it off and shoots purple needles at us.

"Watch out!"

Yellow tackles me down again, and Chu dodges and unleashes another Thunderbolt.

I need to calm down.

Focus.

Yellow stands up and reaches for her waist, grabbing a Pokeball.

"Ratty, use Hyper Fang!"

Yellow unleash a yellow, round rodent with long whiskers, and he ran towards the purple Pokemon, biting on his arm.

The Pokemon roars, and tosses the rodent Pokemon to the ground. He squeals in pain.

"Ratty!"

Yellow runs to help her Pokemon.

I'm about to follow, when I hear something shifting behind me. I turn around, and I see a blue, muscular Pokemon, a bit smaller than the purple one. She roars and drives her arms downwards towards me.

I hear two Pokeballs open, and I see Minun and Charmander both jump out and counter her arms.

Minun then uses Thunder Shock, forcing the pokemon back.

My Pokemon are willing to put themselves in danger for me. I can't let them do all the fighting by themselves!

"Charmander, use Ember! Minun, find an opening and use Ice Punch!" I order.

Charmander unleashes bits of fire at Nidoqueen, who just rushes right through them straight at Charmander.

"Minun, now!"

Minun jumps and falls towards Nidoqueen, Ice Punch ready to hit. Nidoqueen stops moving, and turns, hitting Minun with her tail. She sends Minun straight up, hitting herself on a branch. She then falls down.

"Minun!" I yell, as I run to catch her. She lands safely in my arms. I turn, and I see Charmander is cornered by Nidoqueen, who's getting ready to use Rock Smash.

"Roll to the right and run towards me now!"

Charmander obeys and barely escapes the attack, and he runs straight for me. Nidoqueen turns around and faces me, annoyance expressed on her face.

Minun hops out of my arms, sparks flying from her cheeks. Charmander quickly turns around and stands by Minun's side.

Nidoqueen roars and charges at us.

"Minun, use Iron Tail! Charmander, use Scratch!"

They rush straight towards Nidoqueen. They jump into the air, gaining momentum to add power to their attack.

"Stop!"

I turn and see Yellow running towards us, with Ratty and Chu at her side.

Charmander and Minun try to stop midway their their attack, but the momentum keeps them going and they're about to hit Nidoqueen when Nidoking dives in front of her and takes the hits for her.

My Pokemon jump back a safe distance, confused to what's going on.

Yellow runs in between Nidoking and my Pokemon.

"Guys, we can all relax now. We are not enemies. I talked to Nidoking. See, they were forced to attack us," Yellow explains.

"How?"

"A masked person took their baby Nidoran and threatened to inject her with Pengen if they didn't," Yellow explains.

Loud screeches fill the air.

Nidoking growls.

"An Aerodactyl battling a Charizard? Whoa. That sounds intense," Yellow says.

"Did you say Aerodactyl and a Charizard?" I ask.

It must be Jason! He's ok!

"Yeah. They were fighting in the air earlier too. But don't worry, we'll stay away from them! We're going to be busy anyways, since I promised Nidoking we'll help him and Nidoqueen find their baby," Yellow says, walking up to Nidoking and rubbing his leg. Nidoking smiles.

"Well, you won't have to look far."

We turn around, and we see a masked woman holding a Nidoran in one arm, an injection of Pengen in the other.

Nidoqueen whimpers while Nidoking gives off a low growl.

Yellow pats his leg again.

"It'll be ok. Don't worry."

I stand, ready to give a command to my Pokemon.

"How about you just let go of the Pengen and-"

Yellow stops as the woman suddenly moves the Pengen towards Nidoran.

Nidoran wiggles in an attempt to get free, but it doesn't work. The needle gets closer and closer.

What can I do?

I look around, trying to find something to use or to inspire me, and I see Minun sneaking off to the side, getting closer to the masked woman.

"Hey, there's no reason to be like this. She has nothing to do with you and your group," Yellow says, slowly trying to make her way towards her. I stand where I am.

"Stay where you are or she's getting it!"

Yellow stops, and stares at her, with sad eyes.

"You don't want to do this to her," she says.

The masked woman stays there, staring at Yellow, then lowers the Pengen.

"You're right."

I gasp.

Minun stays hidden along the side, waiting.

The masked figure walks towards Yellow. Nidoking and Nidoqueen watch anxiously. They walk up behind Yellow. The masked woman stands a couple feet away from her.

"Now hand me Nidoran," Yellow says, stretching her hand out.

"Heh."

Nidoran is tossed in the air. Yellow tries to follow Nidoran, she's pushed down by the masked woman.

"Minun, now!" I yell, as Minun pops out of her hiding spot, and jumps towards her with an Ice Punch powered up. The masked woman notices Minun, winds back her arm and throws the Pengen injection. Soon after, she shrieks as her arm is frozen in heavy ice.

I watch as Nidoking catches Nidoran, and by doing so, is hit with the Pengen. I watch as it pierces his body, and the liquid slowly drains into his bloodstream. Nidoking roars in pain, as the liquid slowly takes over his body.

Nidoran freezes in fear, staring at her father. Yellow gets up and grabs Nidoran from Nidoking. I run over to try to help.

"No! Stay back!" Yellow yells. I stop.

"But you need help! You don't know what-"

"Stay back!"

Yellow puts Nidoran on the ground, and she runs over to Nidoqueen. Nidoqueen quickly picks her up, and cuddles with her, Nidoqueen giving an uneasy look to Nidoking. Yellow then tries to put a hand on Nidoking.

"It'll be ok Nidoking, it'll be ok," she says, as she closes her eyes.

What do I do?

"Haha! It'll be no use! There's no way to cure Pengen!" The masked woman yell.

Minun hits her with a Quick Attack, knocking her on the ground.

Nidoking slowly begins to transform. He grows bigger, as spikes and horns grow out of his back at random patterns. Two long claws sprout on each paw, along with two horns pop out on the side of his tail. He opens his eyes, and they're so bloodshot they're nearly all red.

Yellow winces, and she suddenly falls to the ground.

"Yellow!"

I run over, and I knee beside her. She's unconscious, but is sweating up a storm. I try pick her up, and as I do, I look up. Nidoking is staring at me. Drool oozes out of his mouth, desiring the taste of flesh.

Relax Serena, relax. Don't panic.

"Yes! It worked! Now, Nidoking, use Bone Crush to finish them off!" The masked woman ordered. Before anyone could react, Nidoking turned and faced her. He walks up to her.

"Nidoking! What are you doing? I said, use Bone Crush on them, you idiot! How about you use that small brain of yours and-"

She's interupted as Nidoking's newly grown claws go straight through her body like butter. She gasp, and before she can do anything else, he grabs her with his jaws, and takes a deep bite. He tosses her in the air, unleashing a powerful Hyperbeam. Nothing is left to prove she existed.

Nidoking then faces us.

"Nidoqueen! Get out of here now!" I yell. Nidoqueen nods and takes off with Nidoran.

At least they'll be able to survive this incident.

Minun and Charmander rush to my side. Chu and Ratty find their way as well, nudging their trainer. She doesn't respond. Nidoking starts walking towards us.

I quickly reach my belt, and pull out my remaining Pokeballs, unleashing Mudkip, Panchum, and Slyveon.

"Guys, we have to attack together to keep Nidoking away!" I yell, and as I turn around to order, Nidoking is bringing his claws down towards us.

I yell and close my eyes. I wait for the pain, but nothing comes. I open my eyes, and I see Nidoqueen standing in front of us, holding her arms up to block the blow. Nidoking's claws are deep in her flesh.

"Nidoqueen!" I yell.

What is she doing her? Why is she fighting?

Nidoqueen then counters Nidoking's attack by suplexing him over her and to the ground a few feet behind us. Nidoqueen smiles weakly, as she falls to her knees.

Now's our chance.

I look over at Ratty and Chu.

"You guys make sure no one else sneaks behind us, ok?"

"Minun, Thundershock!"

Minun obeys and sends a Thunderbolt at Nidoking. He's unaffected and makes his way towards us again, growling louder.

"Charmander, Ember!"

Charmander opens his mouth, and a full stream of fire comes out.

"Nice! You learned Flamethrower!"

Nidoking continues to make his way, the attacks not slowing him down one bit.

"Mudkip, Water gun!"

Mudkip's attack hits Nidoking, and again he doesn't appear to slow down at all.

Great.

He's getting closer and nothing is working. I need to unleash the rest of attacks now!

"Panchum, Dark Pulse! Slyveon, Swift!"

Their attacks add on, and Nidoking is slowing down, struggling to keep moving foward. But he doesn't stop.

"Keep going guys! We can do this!"

Nidoking is now nearly at us, and he reaches out with his claw, trying to hurt me.

My Pokemon keep pushing, but it doesn't seem to be working.

At this point, Chu and Ratty have joined in, Chu using Thunderbolt and Ratty using Hyperbeam. He is nearly face to face with me.

I try to move, but I'm so detetmined and focused on the attack that I can't. I can't leave my Pokemon. I'll stay here with them.

Yellow is still on the ground, looking as if she was taking a nap.

Nidoking reaches out and his claws nearly reach my neck, when a strong water type attack hits Nidoking, giving us the final boost we need to push Nidoking back. He crashes through dozens of trees, and goes so far that we can't see him. My Pokemon stop, and collapsed on the ground, exhausted.

"Good job guys! I'm so proud! Thank you so much," I say, patting and petting every single one of my Pokemon.

"Looks like you had a rough time."

I turn and I see a girl in a red skirt, black shirt with white vest, and white hat with long shiny auburn hair. A Blastoise stands behind her.

I stare at her, as she smiles at me.

"It's ok Serena, the battle is over now," she says.

"How do you know my name?"

"Both Yellow and I will explain everything later," she says, as she picks Yellow up.

"My name Green. Now follow me, we're going to Viridian City's Gym," she says, as she puts Yellow in Blastoies's arms.

"Why? I can't, I need to go to the Pokemon Center! My Pokemon are exhausted, and look at Nidoqueen! She needs help!" I yell, as I point at Nidoqueen, who's now collapsed on the ground, struggling to breath.

"I'll take care of Nidoqueen, don't worry, but we need to go. They're going to need us."

"Who's we? Need us for what?"

Green walks over and puts her hands on my shoulders.

"Us Pokedex holders. We're here to help you guys, and as we speak, Ash is battling the remaining gym leaders for the last of the Pengen. We need to stop them now."

I gasp.

I'll finally be able to see Ash again.
