As an adult, Beachwings are a blue shade, but when they are ages one to four, they are a pale yellow. Beachwings live at the skywing beach, where they dig holes to sleep in. These dragons are a bit bigger than Kelpwings, but not as big as most dragons. They have holes on their wing tips that shoot fire pellets when they are startled. Beachwings can breathe underwater, as long as they eat a handful of sand crabs before going in. If not, they can only breathe underwater for about ten minutes. Sand crabs are highly nutritious for beachwings, and they are told to eat them every meal of the day. With the sand crabs, they also eat small fish and in some occasions they eat lemon sharks if cut into slices. Beachwings can use their fire to cut up foods or cook them, but they have to at least be seven or older to do so, because if they miss it can cause problems. They are named after things in the sand, or things underwater. Every year, all the Beachwings have a feast in a big cave at the top of a hill, where they eat tons of sand crabs. After they eat all the crabs, they dive down into the ocean and have a party underwater with dancing and parades. Beachwings do not have a way to communicate underwater, but they usually use facial expressions to tell how they feel about the party.
