Backstory:

Sareena was created by Silas Mace, a brilliant inventor in New Alpha City in Elysium Prime. When the Union Academy students visited Alpha Industries, Sareena met them in the main lobby in the tower.

She then saw Zane, a member of team bumblebee and developed strong feelings to that boy since he too was created by a brilliant scientist who passed away. The two then became very close friends, Sareena developed feelings and a relationship with Zane.

During the battle for Earth when Unicron captured the others, Zane sacrificed himself to save his friends and family... However, when Zane sacrificed himself. Sareena eventually grieved over Zanes death, her memories with Zane appeared in a monitor and realized Zane's memory was linked to another device. She was reliefed to seeing her lover survive.

Zane Shin-Sato

Zane is an android made by a russian-Japanese scientist named Professor Aleksander Tanaka whom passed away from natural causes, leaving Zane as an orphan. Zane was then taken under Himeko's wing and helped him train.

When Blaine asked about Zane, he told them he's been an orphan his whole life. It wasn't until his eagle friend lured him to an abandoned lab owned by Professor Tanaka, he realized he was a robot. In his chest, it contained a memory switch which showed Zane his origin and father.

When Zane came to visit, Sareena developed feelings for Zane. The two began to grow a relationship with each other, Sareena developed feelings for him as she felt his spark yearning for her.
