Third Person POV

The next day, the girls and Abby noticed something was off with Y/n. His usual energy was dimmed, his shoulders slumped, and he seemed lost in thought. Concerned, Clawdeen nudged him at lunch.

Clawdeen: "Yo, Y/n, you okay? You seem kinda...off," she asked, her golden eyes scanning his face for any signs of trouble.

Y/n forced a smile.

Y/n: "Yeah, I’m fine. Just didn’t get much sleep, that’s all." He said with a fake smile.

Everyone looks at Y/n with a raised eyebrow, they saw the way he was acting was suspicious.

Draculaura frowned. Clearly not buying what he's saying.

Draculaura: "Are you sure? You can tell us if something's wrong."

Y/n: "Really, it's nothing," he insisted, trying to wave them off.

But the girls weren’t convinced. Later that evening, they decided to follow him home without his knowledge. They kept their distance, making sure he wouldn’t notice them. When he finally reached his house, they hid behind some bushes, peeking into the window.

What they saw made their blood boil.

Y/n’s uncle was slumped on the couch, an empty bottle of alcohol rolling near his feet. The moment Y/n walked in, his uncle’s bloodshot eyes snapped toward him.

Ron: "Where the hell have you been?!" he slurred, standing up unsteadily.

Y/n: "I was at school, like always," He replied quietly, already starting to clean up the mess in the living room.

The man sneered.

Ron: "You think you’re better than me, huh? Walking in here like you own the place." He said an anger.

Without warning, he grabbed a nearby bottle and threw it. Y/n barely dodged as it shattered against the wall.

Outside, Clawdeen’s claws extended. Now she clearly understands why her friend was acting strange today. Seeing that man throw a bottle at his own nephew made her blood boil.

Clawdeen: "I’m going in there," she growled, about to charge forward, but Frankie and Lagoona held her back.

Frankie: "No! You’ll only make things worse!" Frankie whispered urgently.

The girls had to hold their friend back but they also had to cover her mouth so they wouldn't be heard.

Frankie: "If we rush in now, he could take it out on Y/n even more!" She yelled in a whisperer.

The girls did their best to hold their friend back and try to reason with her. They all were worried for their friend just as much as she is.

Lagoona nodded, her fists clenched. She was clearly having a hard time holding in her anger.

Lagoona: "We need to be smart about this. We have to figure out a way to help him without making his situation worse."

Each girl had her own reaction. Abbey’s hands were clenched into icy fists, her breath coming out in visible mist as she fought back the urge to freeze the entire house. Draculaura looked like she was about to cry, her fangs biting into her lip. Cleo crossed her arms, a rare look of concern replacing her usual confident demeanor.

Ghoulia: "Tomorrow," she groans, adjusting her glasses, "we talk to Y/n. We let him know that we saw everything. And we figure out how to get him out of there." She said she spoke in zombie.

Clawdeen exhaled sharply, reluctantly retracting her claws.

Clawdeen: "Fine. But if he comes in tomorrow with another bruise, I’m tearing that bastard apart." She grows in anger.

The girls agreed. Tomorrow, they would help Y/n—one way or another.

Frankie's POV

As we slowly made our way away from the house, I couldn't help but look back at the house. Think about my poor friend who was living in that terrible place. I was very worried about what was going on behind those doors. My friend Y/n was clearly being hurt by his own uncle. I can see and tell that his uncle was tormenting him.

Tomorrow we're going to confront him and find out what is going on.

Frankie's Mind: "Don't worry my friend, we will help you."
