Lotus P.O.V

Oh My Irene! Today is the Valentine Ball and I forgot all about it! I started to get into my dress until my mom came into my room with a confused face until she finally realized and smiled. "Lotus, the ball is tonight, not during the day" after she said that I fell face flat onto the ground from trying to put on my shoes as I just groaned as she chuckled. "But that doesn't mean that you don't have school, so get dressed in your uniform and come eat breakfast once your done." "Right" mom then left as I got up rubbing my forehead a bit from the fall.

I got into my uniform and then headed downstairs where dad, mom, Tyler, and Galaxy were. I got myself some toast since I wasn't that hungry. After breakfast me and Tyler walked to school talking about some random stuff. It was a pretty short walk since our conversation was pretty long. We got inside the school got our things and headed off to the class early.

The bell soon ringed as students started to head to class and get to their seats. I saw Luke as he smiled at me and waved as I blushed a bit and waved back. Class went by pretty early as I was walking in the hallways to my locker. While getting my stuff I got myself in a sticky situation.......it was pretty bad too. The situation was that I was pinned to my locker by Ethan, man does this suck.

"Well well what do we have here? Little Lotus not with her big brother? Looks like I'll be taking you home with me today" "I um uh, no thanks!" "Why not?" "Well I uh, um I-I" 'Come on Lotus think of an excuse!!!' "I have to go to the Valentine Ball!" 'Great thinking Lotus.....' "Oh really? And who're you going with?" "L-Luke...." "So the guy actually had the guts to ask you out huh?" "Y-yup!" "Too bad I'll be stealing his girl".  Ethan soon started to get closer to me by the second as I was frozen not knowing what to do, am I really gonna have my first kiss stolen by some jerk? But soon enough Luke came and stopped Ethan from kissing me as I gave out a relief sigh. "Sorry for barging in but I'm pretty sure she's coming with me" Luke moved Ethan's hand and grabbed my hand while pulling me behind him protectively. I was quite shocked by this but happy at the same.

"Oh is Luke trying to play the hero now?" Ethan rolled his eyes as Luke growled a bit but I just hugged him from behind as my tears threatened to come out. "L-lets just leave L-Luke, I don't n-need you getting hurt" I hid my face in his back as some tears came out as he just sighed and responded "Alright". I let go of him as I held his hand as we started to walk off while I looked down so my hair could cover my face. Luke stopped making me stop with him "Something wrong?" "No its just that, the nerve of him trying to rape you is filling me with rage, if you ever got hurt I couldn't forgive myself" when he said that he embraced me with a protective yet loving hug. I had to process on what was happening until I finally hugged him back, I smiled as I rested my head on his chest.

"Don't worry, I promise that I won't get hurt, as long as you keep me safe" I lifted my face as I gave him a smiled that is until we both leaned in. We leaned in closer and closer until a voice interrupted us as we let go of each other and stepped away a bit both flushed. "Lotus you said you were gonna help me with my project!" I looked over to see Stacey as I just remembered right now "O-oh right! C-coming!" I turned to Luke as we both laughed nervously "I'll um, see you tonight" "Yeah!" "Pick you up at 6?" "Sure! I uh, better get going." "Alright! Um, bye!" "Bye!". I waved to him and walked over to Stacey as we left. As I was walking out of the school with Stacey she smirked as I looked at her.

"What?" "You like him don't you?" 'W-what makes you say that!?" I was now blushing madly as she laughed "Don't worry, I won't tell him" "Thanks" "HA SO YOU DO LIKE HIM!!!" "E-EH!? SO IT WAS A TRAP THIS WHOLE TIME!?" "Yup!" "Please don't tell him!" "Don't worry I won't" "Thanks Stacey". We started to walk to her house as we just started talking about anime and on how I'm watching Kamisama Kiss as she keeps telling me to watch Yuri On Ice and Erased as I only laughed and told her I'll do it after I'm done watching Kamisama Kiss. We soon got into her house as I was greeted by my aunt and and uncle as I smiled and nodded. Aunt Diana and Uncle Dante got a divorce so now she's with Uncle Travis who got a divorce with Aunt Katelyn as Aunt Katelyn is still looking for someone. Uncle Dante got married to Aunt Nicole now as they have a child. (Man that was a lot)

I was back at my house as me and Stacey were already done with her project as I flopped on my bed about to sleep until my mom barged in. "Hurry get dressed!" "Why?" "Luke is outside waiting for you!" "What!" I shot up as she only nodded as she closed the door as I got off my bed and got dressed. I was trying to fix my hair as mom came in and smiled softly at me. "Need help?" "Yes please" she went over to me and brushed my hair for me as she got a red ribbon and used it as a headband. I got up as she smiled at me "You look beautiful" then dad came in as he smiled "Good you're dressed, I was gonna tell him to run off" "D-dad!" "Kidding!". (that's also the dress she's wearing)

He smiled and hugged me as he kissed my head "Now go off and go to that dance" "Make sure he uses protection" "MOM!!!" she only laughed as I was red "Now go off and have fun!" "Not too much though!" "You guys are embarrassing" I said under my breathe while going out of my room and going downstairs. I opened the door as Luke was there waiting for me as he saw me "He-Woah.." "Do I look bad?" "No, you look beautiful...." he looked at me with awe as I smiled and blushed a bit "Thanks, um, should we get going?" "Uh yeah!". He gently took my hand as we started to walk to the school. During the walk it was dead silent, the only thing that could be heard was our footsteps. We soon got to the school as we could hear the music from outside as we went in.

There were a whole bunch of people as some were dancing as others were talking. While I was just in the corner doing nothing. I didn't know what to do really since this is my first dance, a slow song started as I shrunk, Luke came over to me as he took out his hand "Do you wanna dance?" I just shook my head lightly and gave a soft smile "I don't know how to" "Then I'll show you" he took my hand as we went out of the gym and into the hallway but not too far. We just went far enough where no one would find us but we could still hear the music. He took both my hands as he put them on both his shoulders as he put his hands on my waist.

I blushed a bit as he did too as we started to dance. It was pretty easy once I got the hang of it of course. We smiled at each other as I soon laid my head on my chest as I wrapped my arms around his neck instead. He brought me a bit closer making me blush but I didn't push him away. "Hey Lotus" I looked up at him when he said my name as he had a faint blush on his cheeks as well.

We stared at each other not saying a word, we soon leaned in as our lips were inches away from each other's. But Luke closed that little gap between us as I was processing on what was happening. Soon enough I just realised it.........HE'S KISSING ME!!!! I was panicking on the inside on what to do but, I just melted into the kiss and kissed him back. The kiss felt like forever as he pulled away blushing. 

"S-sorry" "N-no its fine!!!" we let go of each other as we both rubbed our arms awkwardly. "I should take you back home" "U-um yeah!" we soon walked out of the school and quickly went back to my not saying a word after the kiss. We got to my house as I was about to open the door he gently took my hand. "Y-yes?" I turned around to face him as he was blushing "U-um" all of a sudden everything stopped as he kissed me again, it was sweet and loving. He pulled me closer by wrapping his arms around my waist as I wrapped my arms around his neck.

We both pulled away slowly as he leaned his forehead against mine as we both were blushing. "D-does this mean we're a thin now?" "L-looks like it". We let go of each other as I smiled and gave him a quick kiss on his cheek as I went to my door and opened it a bit as I waved to him. I'll um, see you tomorrow!" "Yeah!", I went in and gently closed the door. I sighed as I smiled until my mom broke the silence "So you finally got your first kiss" "Y-yeah" I smiled and laughed a bit nervously as she hugged me "I hope you two have kids someday" "M-MOM!!!!!!" "Alright alright! Calm down!".

I only sighed as she let go of me. "Now go get changed and head to bed, you have school tomorrow" "Right". I took off my shoes and went upstairs into my room to change. I brushed my teeth and took off the ribbon on my head as I set it on my bedside table. I got into bed as I thought about what happened last night. 

I just had my first kiss with the boy I like. I smiled at the thought of me and Luke together as I laid on my side. By this time I couldn't even sleep, but soon enough sleep took over as I went to sleep thinking about Luke.
