As the war rages on a small group of soldiers in full body armor, carry unconscious devil soldiers into an abandoned building in an area of the underworld with less fighting.

Moving up the stairs the group open door to reveal multiple Tsunade and other medics healing devils.

"Tsunade, we have a few more here!" The soldier whose name is Steve shouts out to the lead medic.

"Lay them down right there. A few of the other medics will be with them shortly." Tsunade informs Steve and his group.

"We have to make sure they all survive, for Lord Astral's shake," Tsunade says as she moves to heal the new devils in the abandoned building.

"Wait what do you mean, for Astral's shake?" Steve asks out of confusion

"I thought he explained it to the army before we attacked." Tsunade questions

"I must have missed that portion," Steven says while scratching the back of his helmet.

"For a super soldier, I thought you'd pay more attention. Well Lord Astral has placed a spell on himself that will kill him if we are to take even a single life." Tsunade explains

"That's crazy! Astral shouldn't have done something like that. I mean what if we mess up." Steve panics

"That's why we can't mess up." Tsunade quickly retorts. "Lord Astral has done so much for all of us. He saved us from betrayal, death, or when we were lost or alone. This is the least we can do to repay him. That's why right here, right now, failure is no option." Tsunade says with a look of determination.

"I wish I could be more help." Jericho sighs as she slops down onto the floor. "I've had Twice make a few clones of me to go help our soldiers but they keep getting destroyed by high ranking devils. I guess I'm just a bit too weak right now."

"Don't say that. It's better to blame this on the devils being too strong. It's important to mind your self-esteem, even on a peerless mission." Twice says to his teammate.

"Easy for you to say. You're being useful. You're making clones of scouts and medics, Tsunade is healing everyone, Kurako is using her Senjutsu to keep our presence hidden, Flare is a guard, and Steve is bringing people here so Master Astral doesn't die. I'm doing nothing. Right now I'm just useless" Jericho sighs

"Would Astral want to hear you say that?" Steve asks

Jericho looks up at Steve in shock.

"Astral thinks of you as a brave and strong member of his peerage, I hope you haven't forgotten the words Astral said to you all those years ago," Steve says

Jericho's eyes widen as she remembers what her king had told her when she first became his pawn.

(Flashback)

Astral and Steve walk back toward the base, with the new devil Jericho behind them.

"Can I ask you a question?" Jericho asks

"Of course. Feel free to speak your mind." Astral says with a smile

"Why did you save me? Don't get me wrong I'm grateful but I'm one of the weakest exorcists of the church." Jericho says while looking down at the ground.

Suddenly a hand comes down and chops Jericho on the head. "Ow!" Jericho shouts as she held the part of her head that was a strike.

"Hold your tongue! Never speak down on yourself like that ever again!" Astral shouts. "Strength is not something you're born with. It is something that comes through hard work and perseverance and in you I see a fire that will continue to burn and grow stronger. The only question is if you are willing to put in the effort?" Astral asks as he points at Jericho.

Jericho's eyes widen upon hearing this. Back at the church, everyone had told her she was too weak and never encouraged her. However, a man she had only known her for a few minutes inspired her more than the priests she had known since birth. Make a fist she replies.

"Yes! I'll grow strong and make you proud." Jericho says with a smile and a few tears

"Jericho, you have already made me proud." Astral informs his new pawn. "Steve here will personally train you in hand to hand combat and tactics. He was the best soldier in the human war known as world war 2. Oh sorry, I forgot to ask if that's ok with you Steve?" Astral asks

"Of course. Training your forces is the least I can do after all you've done for me." Steve says

"Alright, then Jericho prepare yourself. Your training will be hell but as long as you do not give up you will grow stronger " Astral says with his trademark smile.

(End of flashback)

"Astral has never seen you as useless. In fact out of everyone in both his army and peerage he speaks the highest of you since he knows you have the most room to grow and he knows you want to grow strong. So are gonna prove him right?"

Just then Kurako eyes shoot open. She stumbles up in a panic before shouting. "We have some rouge debreedebree incoming!" Kuroako shouts

Looking out the window everyone could see the building-sized chunk of rock heading right for them.

"That's gonna kill all the wounded here and none of the use is a skill in the barrier. How are we gonna stop it!" Twice freaks out

"I can break it, but the chucks are definitely gonna kill one of the wounded soldiers," Flare speaks

Out of nowhere, Jericho jumps out the window and toward the boulder.

"What's she doing!?" Shouts Kurako

"Showing her passion," Steve answers with a smirk

"I've trained my hardest, put in hours of blood sweat and tears into my training, and even at my lowest Lord Astral has shown me nothing but support." Jericho draws her sword and grips it with the strength of a god.

"I won't." Jericho slowly says in her mind as she gets her teeth and the fire in her eyes burn with the strength of a thousand suns. "LET HIM DOWN!" Jericho shouts as she swings her sword and reduces the boulder to nothing but dust.

As she lands she looks to the say and screams. "Don't underestimate a pawn of Astral Lucius!" Jericho shouts to the heavens

"I thought we weren't supposed to let her say the master's name." Twice says as he peaks his head out the window.

"Let her have the moment. She's earned it." Steven says with a smile.

"Problem. My senjutsu was disabled when I informed you of the boulder so enemy tropes are on their way." Kuroako says to the team.

"Shit!" Flare says as she bits her thumb.

"Language," Steven says while pointing his finger at Flare

"Really Steve! Now of all times!" Tsunade shouts

"Twice make as many clones of me as you can. They'll bring people here while we go meet the soldiers before they get close to you Tsunade. Twice stay here and defend and help Tsunade. Kurosaki stays here and hides the place again. Flare with me." Steve says as he runs out of the building as Flare follows.

As he passes Jericho he takes her with him.

(Outside devil territory to the right)

"This to perfect!" I'll kill the devils and then the invaders. Then enslave whoever survives!" Laughs the rouge fallen angel Kokabiel

"Follow me, my minions. We'll end there existence quickly!" Kokabiel says to him follows as they begin to.move forward.

However, a few bullets fly through the air and take out three fallen angels. Kokabiel tries to find where the bullets came from but fail.

Just then a tornado of sand appears in front of his forces. "Nice shooting Riza. Kill any that get past me." Says a man with slicked-back hair, a scar across his face, a cigar, and a room hand.

"Who the hell are you! You're no devil. You're just a filthy human!" Shouts Kokabiel in rage.

"I'm Sir Crocodile. The leader of the human faction, wielder of the sand dragon emperor, and Allie to Astral Lucius." Crocodile explains.

"That name. Could it be the devil's master tactician that vanished after the war." Kokabiel says before smirking. "I see so the old devil has turned into a tradition that now attacks his own people!" Kokabiel laughs

"He's no traitor. However, I'm not here to chat. I'm here to stop any outside parties from interfering in this war." Crocodile says he puffs out some from his cigar

"I'd like to see a human as you try." Kokabiel continues to laugh

"Then watch." Crocodile says in a serious tone.

(Outside the devil territory to the left)

"I'm surprised that the old Maou faction was not responsible for this war but I'll use it all the same." Says Rizevim Lucifer

"Come let us revert our faction to its former glory." Says the old devil to his fellow members of the old Maou faction.

However, a black portal appears in front of them and out jumps a tall man clothed in a wolf-like armor.

"I know not who tho are but stay away. My new Lord Astal Lucius has ordered me to make sure no outside forces meddle in his war." The knight says as he points his sword at the devils.

"And who might you be. You're either mighty brave or dumb to challenge all of us." Laughs Rizevim

"I am Knight Artorias the wolf knight. The ex-captain of the knights of Gwyn and the new captain of the forces of Astral Lucius."

"Oh, so the Abyss Walker returns. No matter. At the end of the day, you're still a human. This shouldn't take long." Rizevim sighs

"Then you all shale face the wrath of my blade." Artorias say to him to his opponents

Kokabiel/Rizevim: let's get this over with. I have a war to win!

Crocodile/Artorias: You won't be winning anything. After everything Astral has done for me. This is the least I can do to repay him!
