Tears started to form at the corners of my eyes as I recalled the recent events that had just occurred...

Snapping out of my mind I was brought back to cruel reality... with sword in hand... I stood in front of hordes of enemies... a black and red aura radiating from me... as I let the rage consume me... the cries of my comrades could be heard as I soon found myself about to lose to the beast within... my eyes darkened as I whispered one final thing before I lost myself...

(Y/N): I dOn'T CaRe iF tHiS Is tHe EnD...

As those words left my mouth the sky darkened... the bright sunny day that filled the desert like area were now blocked by black clouds as the wind swirled around me... my enemies... my comrades... they both felt the same thing as they saw what was occurring before them... they both felt... fEaR...

???: (Y/N)!?

???: W-whats happening with him!?

Just then a certain woman walked past my two concerned comrades... tears sliding down her face as she stared at me...

???: His heart... it's filled with rage... anger... and most of all... sadness..

The young women then turned towards her commander with a look of worry in her eyes...

???: Chrom... what should we do?

The young prince.... looked at his old friend with conflicted feelings considering the lost they just endured was one that affected not only (Y/N), but himself...

Chrom:....

???: Chrom!?

???: Chrom??

???: Chrom?!

Suddenly the group was snapped out of their conversation as the ground started to shake, a sudden roar came from their friend as he lost himself in his rage....

(Y/N): RRRRRRAAAAAAAAAAAAGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!

Suddenly a huge amount of winds started to be produced by (Y/N) causing the sand to be picked up along with it. This resulted with those who are witnessing the current events to cover their eyes..

???: What is happening to you!? (Y/N)!!

As the wind suddenly died out... everything went quite... as the enemy stared in shock at the sudden change of appearance of their enemy... On the other side of the sandy battlefield where (Y/N)'s enemies stood, there leader is in shock..

???: W-w-what was that!?! WHY DID EVERYTHING ABOUT HIM JUST CHANGE!?

His assistant equally as shocked just stared at the transformation that I had just taken...

???: It can't be... a survivor...

???: WOMEN WHAT ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT!?!?

???: Nothing... it'd be best if we made our escape... my king...

???: W-why...?

???: Because he's done... his transformation has been completed...

Both sides looked at me in shock...

???: Hmmm what are you doing, Robin...?

Robin: Oh, Lissa! Well I'm trying to get (Y/N) to wake up but I seem to be failing... I've been trying for more then 10 minuets.... what should we do?

Lissa: Nishishi~

A mischievous smiled grew on the young princess face as she took a couple steps back and started to inform the white haired beauty about her plan.

Lissa: Well, Robin my friend... whenever (Y/N) gets like that there's only one thing to do~!!

She then got a running start and with no mercy for her dear old friend whom she loves dearly jumped in the air and landed on my poor unsuspecting gut, causing me to cry out in pain and jump out of my sleep...

(Y/N): Oooooooooooooooooooooooofffffffffffffffff....

Lissa: Ta-da~ See it worked like a charm~!

(Y/N) U-uuuugggghhhhh... L-Lissa...

Lissa: Hehehe Good Morning, (Y/N)~!

She then proceeded to get up off at me as I slowly sat up in pain...

(Y/N): Morning Lisa... Morning Robin...

Opening my eyes I stared at the two female standing in front of me... I then noticed the look of concern on their faces as they looked at me...

(Y/N): Hmm...? What's wrong...?

Lissa: (Y/N)...

Robin: You're crying... are you okay...?

(Y/N): H-huh...

I brought my hands to feel my cheek... and its true... tears were indeed falling from my eyes...I started to wipe them away, but the tears wouldn't stop... why...?

Lissa: A-a-ahhh I'm s-s-sorry, (Y/N)!! I didn't mean to hurt you!!! Please forgive me!!!

She said as she launched herself at me enveloping me in a hug... I slowly slide my hands around her tiny frame returning the warm gesture... which only seemed to increase my tears...

Robin: (Y/N)....

(Y/N): I-its okay, Lissa... I'm not mad... or hurt... I don't know why... but... I can't stop crying...

Lissa: Are you okay!? Did you have a bad dream or something!?

(Y/N): D-dream...? Y-you're right... I remember I did dream about something... but I can't remember what it was about... but...

Robin: But what...?

(Y/N): I-I... I remember feeling so sad... and angry... that I lost myself to that rage...

Lissa then pulled back slightly and looked at my face... she could see that whatever it was I dreamed about really shook me.. she then pulled me into an even tighter hug and started patting my head.

Lissa: There, there (Y/N).. its okay... I don't know what you saw... but I promise you won't go through it alone... not as long as I'm here.

I sunk my head into her shoulder releasing the rest of the sadness I felt until I eventually calmed down...

(Y/N): Thanks Lissa... and sorry I don't really know what came over me...

Lissa: Mhmm it's okay! Plus it was nice seeing that side of you~!

(Y/N): E-ehhh you mean seeing me cry...?

She nodded a yes a she gave a bright smile.

Lissa: Yep~! Usually you're strong and never cry... I couldn't help but feel a bit of relief...

(Y/N): Heh really...? I guess you do have a point... I could say the same to you as well, Lissa~! Usually you're a trickster but when I needed you, you matured up and comforted me~ Thanks again for that~!

Lissa quickly turned around to hide the blush that was now present on her face as Robin couldn't help, but to laugh at her reaction.

Lissa: W-well what do you expect... you started crying out of nowhere... I had to do something...

(Y/N): Hahaha you're too cute, Lissa!

Lissa: Muuuuooooo, Dummy (Y/N)!!!

Lissa pouted as she ran off into a random direction to avoid my teasing. I could only smile as I shook my head, I then turned to the remaining female that stayed waiting for me.

(Y/N): I suppose I owe you a thanks as well, Robin... so thank you... and please forgive me.

Robin: H-huh... why are you thanking me... and why are you apologizing!?

(Y/N): Well... you showed concern for me... even though we just met you showed me that you cared enough about me to get worried... and I'm apologizing because I want you to rely on me...

Robin head slightly shot up as a blush slightly appeared on her face.

Robin: H-h-huh...!?

(Y/N): Just like everyone else!

Robin: O-oh... t-that's what you meant...

(Y/N): Yep... and seeing me cry over something silly like a dream must not give off a good impression huh?

I said as I smirked and scratched the back of my head as she quickly responded by shaking her head.

Robin: T-that's not true... I think you're a pretty amazing person!!

(Y/N): Is that so... heh thanks a lot, Robin I don't I deserve those kind words, but I appreciate it... I really can't shrug off the feeling that we met before...

Robin: I-I feel the same way...

We both just stood there with a very nostalgic feeling going through us... we both just stood there in a comfortable silence feeling the moment... that was until I was brought back to reality with a question on mind.

(Y/N): Now that I think about it... where is Chrom and Frederick...?

Robin: A-ahh that's right... I forgot to mention the reason of me waking you up...

(Y/N): Hmm and what would that be...?

Robin: Well since we are close to our destination, they both went to check out the path ahead... they should be back pretty soon.

(Y/N): I see... those jerks they could have woken me up...

Robin: They did try, but you wouldn't wake up...

(Y/N): Really..? Hmmm man that dream must've been the real deal... oh well... let me get ready before they start coming back our way!

Robin: Alright, I'll go find Lissa then!

(Y/N): Alight! Keep an eye on that trouble maker!

With that Robin left me to my business and I stood up from my makeshift bed and readied myself by putting on my armor and grabbing my sword that leaned against a tree... as soon as I made contact with my blade I felt a spark... images started flood my head. I couldn't stand from the pain of all these images seeping in at once...

(Y/N): A-Aghhhhh w-what are these images...!?!?

Soon enough the pain ended in an instant... I slowly stood up wondering what just happened... I cautiously reached out for my sword once more and touched it expecting it to happen again, but was surprised when it didn't.

(Y/N): W-what was that.... and those images...

I thought back to them and all that flashed through my mind was Emm... is she okay... what was this about... and why is this happening now of all times... I should catch up with Robin. I finished packing up and then went off to find Robin and Lissa. This did not take too long considering they weren't to far away from my location. When I made it to them I noticed that Chrom and Frederick have returned, their attention was then brought to me as I walked towards them.

Chrom: Ahh there he is. You sleep well , old friend?

(Y/N): You could say that. Nice of you to wake me up to help you scout out ahead...

Chrom: You can't blame us on that, (Y/N). Haha we did try but you just wouldn't wake up!

(Y/N): Just wait until we get back home...

Frederick: Forgive us, Captain. I decided it would be best if we left you considering the fact that you were tired from the events of before.

Sully: Don't worry about it, Captain! I was here to pick up there slack!

(Y/N): Ahh Sully! That's what I expect from you good job!

Chrom: Well now that we are all ready let us go! Ylisstol is not to far let us depart!

(Y/N): Aye, aye commander!

Chrom: Tch now its my turn to say wait till we get back home...

(Y/N): Heh we'll see old rival..

Lissa; Come on!! I think I've build a lot of character during this whole trip!! I miss my bed~ Lets go!!

Lissa said running ahead leaving the rest to follow in her foot steps. We been walking for a couple hours now and before we knew it we finally made it to Ylisstol. I could see that Lissa was excited to finally be back home, Frederick and Chrom just gave a look of relief as for Robin she seemed the most impressed of us all considering the look of shock on her face.

Robin: So this is Ylisstol, capital of Ylisse... I've never seen so many people!

Frederick: It appears the capital was spared the chaos we encountered thank the gods. I see no evidence of the great quake. It must've been limited to the forest.

Lissa: Well, that's a relief!!

I chuckled as I walked past her and pat her head.

(Y/N): A great relief indeed, we wouldn't want anything to happen to your precious bed now would we?

Lissa: Hey!! (Y/N)!! Your suppose to be on my side!!

(Y/N): Yes, yes you already said that before.

I said smiling as she tried standing up to me even though I'm way taller to her.

Lissa: Well I wouldn't have to say it if you'd just played your part!!

(Y/N): Now where would the fun in that be?

Lissa; Hmmm I guess you do have a point!

(Y/N): Hehe see!?

Just then we were cut off from our conversation as someone shouted out..

Old Villager 1: Look! The exalt has come to see us!

Our attention was then brought to the glamours exalt.

Robin: The exalt is your ruler, yes?

Frederick: Yes. Her name is Lady Emmeryn.

Robin: Is it safe for her to walk among commoners like this...?

Frederick: The exalt is a symbol of peace, Ylisse's most prized quality. Long ago, at the dawn of our age, the fell dragon tried to destroy the world. But the first exalt joined forces with the divine dragon and laid the beast low. Exalt Emmeryn reminds us all of the peace we fought for then.

(Y/N): Yeah... plus may the gods have mercy on whoever has the guts to harm her... they'll have to answer to me...

I said with a dark expression on my face...

Chrom: Anyways with Plegia poking at our borders, the people need her. She's a calming presence, when some might otherwise call for war.

Robin: Then the Ylissean people are indeed lucky to have her.

Lissa: She's also the best big sister anyone could ask for!!

Robin: Yes, I imagine she... wait.. what!? She's your... but wouldn't that make you and Chrom...

Frederick: The prince and princess of the realm, yes. You remember Chrom's name and not this?

Robin: You said you were "Shepherds"!!

(Y/N): Hahahahahaha!!! That reaction!! I also happen to be her personal knight.

Robin: W-w-what!?! So much for "Shepherds"!?

Chrom: And so we are... in a manner of speaking. We just have a LOT of sheep.

Robin: C-Chrom... I mean, Prince Chrom! Sire! Forgive my dreadful manners!

Chrom: Just Chrom is fine. I've never been much for formalities.

Robin: The prince and princess... and personal knight... that explains why Frederick tolerates all the teasing... eh?

Frederick: Indeed. Oh, the sacrifices I make for the good of the realm....

(Y/N): Heh sacrifices indeed! We wouldn't be where we are now if it wasn't for that! Right Lissa?

Lissa; Mhmm~~ It's what gets me up in the morning~!

Chrom: It looks like Emm is returning to the palace. Would you like to meet her?

And with that questioned asked we found ourselves within the palace of Ylisstol. There stood Emm looking as majestic as ever. We then proceeded to walk up to her, her face lit up with excitement as she saw us.

Emmeryn: Chrom! Lissa! (Y/N)! Welcome home. Oh and good day, Frederick. How fared you all?

Chrom: Well... we shouldn't have any bandit problems for a while.

Emmeryn: Wonderful. And our people?

Chrom: It's all right. Safe as they can be, Emm. But we still need to watch the borders. The brigands crossed over from Plegia.

???: Forgive me, milord. My pegasus knights should have intercepted them.

Chrom: No, Phila. Your duty was here, with the exalt... just like a certain somebody who left....

(Y/N): Hey, someone had to watch your back... plus I trusted Phila. And be at peace, Phila we managed to get them in the end so no harm.

Lissa: And besides, we had plenty of help!

Emmeryn: Ah, you speak of your new companion here?

Chrom: This is Robin. She fought bravely with us against the brigands. I've decided to make her a shepherd.

Emmeryn: It sounds as though Ylisse owes you a debt of gratitude, Robin.

Robin: Not at all, milady!

(Y/N): Ahh, Robin don't be so modest you have been a great help!

Robin: B-but...

Frederick: Forgive me, Your Grace, but I must speak. Robin claims to have lost her memory, but it is only that: a claim. We cannot rule out the possibility that she is a brigand herself or even a Plegian spy.

(Y/N)/ Chrom: Frederick!!

Emmeryn: Yet you allowed her into the castle, Chrom. Does this women have your trust?

Chrom: Yes. She risked her life for our people. That's good enough for me.

Emmeryn: And you (Y/N)? What do you have to say?

(Y/N): Hmm she not only risked her life for our people, but also for us... in my book she's already one of us, Emm.

Robin just looked down with a tint of red on her face due to the complements that she was getting. Emmeryn then continued with what she was about to say.

Emmeryn: Well then, Robin... It seems you've earned both Chrom's and (Y/N)'s faith, and as such you have mine as well.

Robin: Milday!?

Emmeryn: But thank you, Frederick, for your prudence, as always. Chrom and Lissa are blessed to have so tireless a guardian. I do hope they remember to mention that from time to time...

Frederick: They occasionally express something akin to gratitude, Your Grace. Phila, I assume you've heard about the deathly creatures we encountered, yes?

Phila: Yes, milord. They've been sighted all across Ylisse.

(Y/N): So they managed to make it that far through our defense huh... Emm knowing you we probably about to hold a council to discuss on how we should deal with this threat?

Emmeryn: You would be correct, (Y/N). I was hoping both you and Chrom could join us.

Chrom: Of course.

(Y/N): Your wish is my command.

Lissa: I think that's our cue, Robin! C'mon, theres a place I want to show you!

(Y/N): Heh you both should get out of here... its gonna be non stop boring adult stuff... Robin for now I have to go, but I'll see ya around!

Robin: Y-yes!

And with that they both left leaving us here in the palace. I then turned towards Emm, walked towards her and gently placed my hand on her head. This caused our exalt to blush slightly as I began to pet her.

(Y/N): It's been a while, Emm. Have you've been well?

As usual before she could even answer my question my actions gained the disapproval of those here in the room, but I couldn't care any less.

Chrom:.... You never change do you...

Frederick: C-c-captain....

Philia: (Y/N)! You know this is inappropriate to do to our exalt right!!

(Y/N): Ehhh what gives... after all we haven't seen each other in a while so....

Emmeryn: It is quite alright, Philia... this is a usual occurrence with (Y/N), one that I do not mind at all. After all he's been doing this ever since we met all those years ago...

(Y/N): Hehe right!

Philia: B-b-but your Grace...

Emmeryn: However, Philia is right (Y/N). I am your exalt and should be treated as such.

(Y/N): E-eeh... is that so... very well if that what you command, Emm.

I said giving a slight sigh of disappointment, but she did have a point she is our leader so she should have a certain amount of respect given to her... but still... I'm like a childhood friend... but if its for Emm... I thought looking at her face as she continued to talk... if it for the person who saved my life... I'll do anything.

Emmeryn: That being said the council is about to began. We should start heading our way to the council room.

We all then followed Emm to the council room to discuss about how we should deal with this upcoming threat. For the most part this council discussed a lot about our bandit problems and the fact that Plegia was poking at our border, but then we got to the problem that bothered me the most... the new enemies that have surfaced. After explaining the situation and the warning that was given to us, the council soon began its discussion.

Council Member 1: As for this unknown enemy, how should we deal with them, Exalt?

Emmeryn: Before I answer this question, I would like to here from both Chrom and (Y/N). They both have not only fought against this enemy, but they may have a clue as of where they came from.

Council Member 2: Is that so!?

Council Member 3: Then speak, Chrom and do not leave a single detail out!

Chrom: While it is true that (Y/N) and I fought against this enemy, as for their origins we have no idea where they came from...

(Y/N): As chaotic and insane this may seem they appeared from the sky.

Council Member 1: The sky!?

Council Member 3: Preposterous!

Chrom: It may seem that way, but what (Y/N) has stated this is the truth. Not only are they mysterious they also possess strength in numbers...

Council Member 2: How big is this enemy...?

Emmeryn: I ask that you all be reasonable. They may have fought against them, but they both have no way of knowing how big this enemy can be...

Council Member 3: Regardless Exalt! Anything they have to say anything at all would be valuable information!

Emmeryn:....

(Y/N): Please members of the council calm down, there's no need for yelling...

I said as I glared at the council member that yelled at Emm, this seemed to have calmed him down so I took that as a signal to continue going on.

(Y/N): While it's true both Chrom and I have no idea how big this enemy is we had a certain encounter with someone who may have an idea...

Council Member 1: Is this true!?

I looked at Chrom and he gave me a nod of approval so I continued speaking.

(Y/N): This mysterious young man called himself Marth.

Council Member 5: After the great hero king of old!?

(Y/N): The very same. Not only did he speak of these enemy like he already knew about them, but he also demonstrated that he is very well adverse at taking them down... if fact he save both my life and Lissa's life.

Council Member 1: Is that so!? If this is true where is this young man now?

Chrom: Sadly as soon as he told us of his name and a warning he left.

Council Member 3: This is very, very troublesome...

(Y/N): Do not be dishearten I am sure our paths will cross again...

Council Member 4: (Y/N)! Enough of this wishful talking! You may have served in the palace for many years, but this threat is not one to be taken lightly!

(Y/N): I am very well aware of this council member... even so us talking about it here isn't doing much either so I ask that you please quite down and listen.

Council Member 4: W-why y-you...

(Y/N): What is needed of us now is action! Your Grace the time for us to widen our circle of trust has come. We need allies to help us in this battle against the unknown.

Emmeryn: Who would you suggest..?

Chrom: Hmmm... who would you suggest, (Y/N)?

(Y/N): Simple, Regna Ferox.

Council Member 1: Regna Ferox!?

Council Member 3: T-those barbarians!?

Council Member 4: Absurd?!

Council Member 2: Member of the council settle down!

Emmeryn: Please let us maintain order and keep a calm head. (Y/N), please continue.

(Y/N): They prefer the term warriors. It is for that reason that I believe that we should look to them as allies. They are trained and willing to fight if need be. What we lack in numbers, they can provide. This is the only way I can see us overcoming the disater that was foretold to both Chrom and I.

As I proposed this idea the council room went silent. I looked around to see the looked of the council members and despite not liking what I saw we had no other choice, but to side with Regna Ferox. I then heard a voice speak up.

Chrom: I agree with the plan that (Y/N) has suggested.

Emmeryn: As do I. I trust your judgement (Y/N).

(Y/N): Chrom... Emm....

I looked down for a second and then smirked. I then brought my gaze back up and asked the council members for their response.

(Y/N): So what say you members of the council!?

They all whispered among themselves and after sometime passed they came to a consensus.

Council Member 1: We of the council have decided to move along with this plan of yours, (Y/N). Doing this mean both you and the prince are in charge of negotiations, correct?

Chrom/ (Y/N): Of course.

(Y/N): Em- I mean our exalt is needed here with her people.

Chrom: We shepherds shall depart the next morning after tomorrow to began our march for Regna Ferox, so please send a notice of our arrival.

Emmeryn: Fret not Chrom it shall be done with haste. This new enemy shall be refered as the Risen! With that I bring the meeting to an end. For Ylisstol!

Chrom/ (Y/N): For Ylisstol!

With that everyone went their own way. Chrom went to the shepherds of their upcoming mission, the council members went... actually I have no idea where those guys go, as for Emm she went to rest in her quarters. I myself decided to head for my room and change out of my armor into a fresh set of clothes. I then looked out my window and noticed the sun was setting.

(Y/N): Ahh, its almost time...

I then made my way down to the kitchen area of the castle. In all the years I have been here I've been taught how to do a lot of things and one of those things happen to be knowing how to make tea. Heh ever since I found out how to make it, Emm as a young girl would constantly ask me to make some for her to which it eventually evolved into a normal occurrence.

(Y/N): Heh how many years has it been I wonder...

I was then interrupted by the sound of the tea kettle whistling, now that the tea is finished I quickly set up the necessities for tea, placed it all on a cart and made my way towards Emm's room. I then proceeded to knock on her door and waited for her to open it. After a couple minuets of waiting the door slowly opened to reveal Emm in her night gown.

Emmeryn: O-oh (Y/N)... what a surprise? What are you doing here so late...?

(Y/N): Well since I've left with Chrom... we haven't had tea in a while together so I figured I would surprise you... sorry if I woke you up...

Emmeryn's face lit up slightly as she saw the effort I made for her and quickly shook her head a no.

Emmeryn: N-no I was awake... I was thinking about our meeting earlier today...

(Y/N): Well I'm here for you Emm... so lets talk.

Emmeryn: Mhm... I would like that...

I made my way into her room and served us tea and that is how our night started. We both sat on her bed and talked about many things that happened in the past week that I was gone. Eventually we finished the tea, but that didn't stop us we just kept talking and talking.

(Y/N): You alright Emm..?

Emmeryn: Y-yes... why do you ask...?

(Y/N): Come on, Emm...we've known each other for so many years... I pretty much know everything about you... that includes the face you make when something is bothering you...

Emmeryn: Seems like I can't hide anything from you huh...

(Y/N): Nope not really!

I said smirking as she gave a giggle herself and then looked up at her ceiling. She then gave out a sigh as she continued to talk.

Emmeryn: No matter what I try to do... no matter how much I try to avoid it... we will eventually have to fight won't we...?

(Y/N): Heh.. that's just like you, Emm... sadly that's the only option that we have left.. I know we both tried everything to prevent us from going into war... but with the introduction of this new enemy... we may have no other choice... Plegia might also take advantage of this chaos...

Emmeryn: That's what I fear the most... more then anything.. I would like for both Chrom and Lissa to never have to experience the horrors of war... or our people... we have suffered so much that I want to stop this no matter the cost... even if it means giving up my own lif-..

I cut her off.

(Y/N): Don't say that!

The sudden raising of my voice seemed to surprise her as a look of shock appeared on her face as I continued talking with my hair cover my eyes.

(Y/N): None of us would ever want that! I know both Chrom and Lissa would never ask that of you.... neither would I...I-I'm just a monster... but you gave me purpose... you saved me, Emm...

Emmeryn: (Y/N)...

(Y/N): I know this may seem selfish to choose war over a single life... but y-you mean so much to us all.. to me... so please never say something like that again... please...

I said looking up at her once again... her eyes seem to widen in shock as she sees tears sliding from my eyes...

She said as she got closer to me and started to wipe my tears.... I was crying...? I slowly brought my hand to my face once again and it was true... I was crying... this feeling... its the same feeling I had when I woke up from that... that dream...

(Y/N): M-my apologies... I-I'm not sure why I'm crying...

I said as I backed up and started wiping my tears away until they stopped...I then looked back up at Emm to see a soft smile on her face...

Emmeryn: Th-thank you, (Y/N)... but if I ever had to make that choice... to give Chrom... Lissa... my people... and you a peaceful life... then I would take it with no regrets.

(Y/N): Then I have to make sure that you never have to face a choice like that... you're my light Emm... I don't want to lose you ever...

Her face lit up with a massive red hue covering it. She then proceeded to scoot closer to me and leaned on me with her head on my shoulder...

(Y/N): Emm...?

Emmeryn: C-can I just stay like this... just for a little while...

I was slightly shocked by the way she was acting... usually she never acts like this... but to be honest I'm glad she finally letting her guard down... after all being the exalt probably takes a huge toll on her.

(Y/N): Yeah... go ahead Emm... you can do it as long as you want, I'm here for you.... and I'll always be here for you... that's a promise Emm...

Emmeryn: Thank you... so much (Y/N)... usually I don't have the chance to rely on anyone like this... but it feels good... especially since its you, (Y/N)...

Now it was my turn to get a bit flustered as a tint of red appeared on my face... I tried to play it off though.... key word tried...

Emmeryn: Are my eyes playing tricks on me or are you blushing...

(Y/N): T-they're playing tricks on you obviously...

I said trying to play it off.... key word trying...

Emmeryn: Just like you know everything about me, I know everything about you, (Y/N)... Which mean I also know when you're lying... its cute... when you blush...

(Y/N): Y-you're not making this any better you know that...

Emmeryn: Hehe... that's how I feel everytime when I'm with you, (Y/N)...

(Y/N): Emm...?

Emmeryn: Please just listen... everytime we are together alone... I feel so happy... I feel so excited... but at the same time I feel so scared.... and shy... my heart starts to beat so fast sometimes I wonder if you could hear it... I-I never felt like this with anyone before... a-and to be honest... I don't know what this feeling is either... m-maybe i-its l-lo... mhnn never mind.. but its a good feeling...

(Y/N): Yeah... I feel that too, Emm... Though I've never really felt this with anyone and just like you I'm not sure what it is... so how about we find out together!

As I said that Emm lifter her head from my shoulder and looked at me with her face that was bright red.... she then surprised me as she wrapped her arm around me into a gentle hug. I repeated this action and we both just stayed there together...

Emmeryn: Together... that sounds really nice...

After she spoke those few words... we just stayed there... not a word was said... not a movement was made... all we know is... that we were in the arms of the person we cared for the most...

dO..... YoU..... ReMEmBeR.....

I twitched a bit as I heard this strange voice inside my head... remember.... remember what....? What is it that I am suppose to remember...? Luckily Emm didn't react to my sudden twitch... after a couple more minuets of complete silence Emm spoke.

Emmeryn: I probably won't see you in a while... will I (Y/N)...?

(Y/N): Yeah... forgive me, Emm... but I have to depart for Regna Ferox... the council members demanded of me to depart and make it there before Chrom to secure his protection...

Emmeryn:.... I wish you didn't have to go...

(Y/N): Oh? So the exalt does have wishes of her own...?

Emmeryn then lightly hit my chest with her hand as she snuggled closer towards me...

Emmeryn: You know what I mean... but I understand why you have to go... so please make a promise to me, (Y/N)...

(Y/N): Sure, anything for you Emm...

Emmeryn: Please... make it back home safely... and please keep Chrom and Lissa safe...

(Y/N): Yeah... I promise that I'll keep that promise...

She then pulled back from the hug and gave a bright smile and then did the unexpected... she kissed my forehead....!? She slowly leaned forward causing her lips to make contact with my forehead, she then stayed there for a good second and pulled back with small blush on her face.

(Y/N): W-w-w-what was that!?

Emmeryn: A s-sign of our promise silly...

We were both a blushing mess... I unconsuciosly touched the spot she kissed and stared at her in shock... d-d-did she really just do that... i-it felt nice.... nonononononono I can't think that way right!? I-I mean we've known each other since we were kids... I don't know how to feel about this... but I do know one thing... I gave her a bright closed eyed smile as I gripped my fist.

(Y/N): I won't fail no matter what!

Emmeryn: Thank you... so much...

After that I stayed with her until she fell asleep... with that I made my way back to my room and prepared to leave in the morning. I probably won't get to see Emm as I go off considering she has duties she has to fulfill in the morning, but that doesn't matter as long as I keep my promise to her I should be fine. After I finished packing I decided it'd be best if I get some sleep after all it is going to be a long voyage.

~Time Skip~
Location Regna Ferox

I stood in front of the snowy fortress with my sword unsheathed as I stood in front of my defeated opponent wearing a set of bulky heavy armor. I glared down at her as she looked up to me in shock.

???: H-how... how were you able to defeat all of us on your own...

(Y/N): Raimi was it... the reason I was able to win should be obvious... I was much stronger then you all...

Raimi: S-so it was true... you are a diplomat from Ylisse... f-f-forgive my rudeness, Sire!?

(Y/N): Heh don't worry about it! Now that we have that out of the way could you bring me to see the Khan?

Raimi: R-right away! OPEN THE GATE!!

The gate then slowly started to open leaving me a bright idea.

(Y/N): Raimi, Prince Chrom of Ylisse will soon arrrive here the next day...

Raimi: Yes sire! They shall be met with hospitality and-....

(Y/N): Actually about that I want you to give him the same meeting you gave me... allow him to prove himself of his strength... such is the way of Regna Ferox ,no?

Raimi: A-are you sure, Sire!?

(Y/N): Heh he can handle it... ahh theres my cue! I hope that we do indeed meet again, Raimi..

I said walking in the castle on my own...

Raimi: Y-yes, Sire!!... A-ahhh I probably should've asked him what prince Chrom looked like... many have attempted to enter Regna Ferox claiming to be from Ylisse...

Eventually I made it the throne room where I saw the one of the current khan's herself...

Khan ???: Oh well if it isn't the little boy...

(Y/N): Its been a while East Khan... or should I just use your name, Flavia?

Flavia: Heh just because the little boy has grown up, doesn't mean you can give me attitude..

(Y/N): Forgive me, but when last we met I was but a monster with no purpose, now I have a reason to live and fight...

Flavia: Hooo, how is it that a little princess at that time managed to tame you... one who was referred to as a devil...

(Y/N): What can I say... her light was bright enough to break through my darkness... but enough of the past you know why I am here correct.

Flavia: Yes, I do sadly, however I am not in the position to lend you a helping hand... as you know I lack the authority right now... the West Khan won the last tournament so he has all the authority right now... Luckily fate is on your side, another tournament is nigh and I am in the need of new champion, what do you say?

(Y/N): Hmmm sorry, but I'll have to refuse...

Flavia: E-ehh... why? I thought Ylisse needed Regna Fearox help...?

(Y/N): You misunderstood me. You're champions are coming... Prince Chrom and his shepherds are on their way, they'll be your new champions...

Flavia: Hmmm are you sure you're willing to bet all this on the Prince...?

(Y/N): Hmph you shouldn't underestimate ,y rival... trust ,e when I'll say he'll blow you away...

Flavia: Well I'll trust your judgement... for now... that being said if we end up losing you'll have to answer to me you hear me!?

(Y/N): Yeah, yeah now where's the old man?

Flavia: He should be at the arena with his new champion...

(Y/N): New champion?

Flavia: Yeah... came in one day wears a butterfly mask, doesn't talk much and he singlehandedly beat that old fools old champion like it was nothing...

(Y/N): Butterfly mask... it can't be... if you don't mind may I go check the arena out...?

Flavia: Knock yourself out, boy... you remember where the arena is right?

I give a nod.

Flavia: Good, saves me the trouble of seeing that other fool...

(Y/N): Alright, I'm off then...

I said leaving the Ferox Castle and reentering the snowy landscape of Regna Ferox. I then made my way towards the arena following the path that I remembered from way back then. It was a bit before I met Emm, Chrom and Lissa... I ended up in Regna Ferox and continued my killing spree... after causing so much trouble I eventually came into contract with the Khan at the time. He asked me if I wanted to fight for him in the upcoming tournament... its a past I would like to forget... considering I have something much better to live for... but somethings are better not forgotten... I then found myself on the outside of the Ferox Arena... I made my way in and walked through a long hallway until I eventually made it the the center of the arena and saw a half of dozen warrior training in the arena.... and there he was... Marth was among them...

(Y/N): Now why would someone like you would be doing in a place like this... Marth...

???: Hooo... I remember you.. I was wondering why that face of your pissed me off so much!

I then slowly turned to see.....
