Many Years ago
(Y/N) POV
All I ever felt was pain, there's was nothing I was meant to do in this world, I don't even remember much of my past life, I had nothing no friends, no family and no past.... I can't recall my past at all...... all I ever known what to do is..... Kill, As I was continuing my dull life I was walking with a blade at my side, until eventually a huge guy wearing armor and a huge axe at his side, came up to me with his to friends at his side.

Guy 1: Hey, Kid why don't you give us that sword and whatever else valuable you have and maybe we' ll let you live.*He said laughing like a mad man*

Guy 2: Yeah, how bout you give us everything you have and then we'll see about letting you go.*His friend said snickering as well*

Leader with the Axe: Yeah, brat give us everything you got, you're in luck I'm I a pretty good mood right now so if you co-operate I'll let you leave in one piece... HAHAHAHAH!!!!*He said laughing while putting his axe on his shoulder* So what do you say?????

(Y/N):.............

Leader: What aren't you gonna say anything???!!!???

Guy 1: Boss I think the brat is scared!!! *He said laughing*

Guy 2: HAHAHA, come on kid we don't have all night, now hurry up an-*I cut him off by slashing at his throat with my sword* AAAAGGGGGHHHHH........* Falls to the ground lifeless*

Guy 1: HEYYYY BRAT!!!!!!*He said drawing his spear and charging at me*

Even thought he had the advantage he was no match for me and my speed, a he came charging at me I blocked his attack with my sword and then pushed him back and slash right through his chest leaving him to fall down and die.

Leader: ALL RIGHT YOU'VE DONE IT NOW BRAT, I'M GONNA KILL YOU!!!!!!!!*He said charging at me with his huge axe*

His move were slow cause he was so big wearing heavy armor, I just kept dogging all his moves until he got really mad and charged at me once again but at this point I was tired of his presence so I charged at him as well and I swung my sword while he swung his axe, We then stood there having our backs to each other, as I sheath my sword his head rolled off and blood started spilling out from where his head was. At this I walked away as I wiped the blood that landed on me, as I walked away some knights that were near by came to see what happened, but what they saw wasn't just murder it was a massacre.

Knight 1: W-w-ho could of done something like this......

Knight 2: I don't know but this is the 5th time this month we found people like this, what is this Kingdom coming to???

Emmeryn POV
We were on our way back to the castle after our fathers burial, not to long ago our father passed away leaving me, a young Chrom, and a young Lissa all alone with no other family to take care of us. Chrom and Lissa were at my sides,Lissa was really young but she was still crying about our fathers death as for Chrom was fighting back the tears trying to be strong about it.

Emmeryn: Chrom, you know it's okay to cry right.....

Chrom: I can't cry Emm, I have to be strong for you and Lissa..... *Struggles to keep his tears back*

Emmeryn: But Chrom, crying doesn't mean you're weak it means you been strong for too long and it's alright to cry when someone important to you passes away.....*I said letting my own tears pour out as Chrom started to cry followed by Lissa*

All three of us hugged and started crying, it was a while after we all managed to settle down and we were almost to the castle but as we were finally calmed down our carriage was stopped roughly causing all of us the fall down, I got up and was going to go outside and check to see what the commotion was about until I heard a Guard scream:

Guard: NOOOO.... PLEASE DONT KILL ME YOU CAN HAVE THE KIDS!!!!!! AAAAGGGGHGHHHHHH!!!!!!!

I saw the silhouette of the Guard fall down as I saw another silhouette come near the door of the carriage and as he was about to open it, I heard him scream and then I saw his body fall down lifeless.

(Y/N) POV
As I was walking inside the kingdom of Ylisse, I notice a carriage heading somewhere I know that bandits hang around, so I decided to follow it to see where is was going. As I was following the carriage it suddenly came to a stopped and I some bandits come around the carriage and then a guard came down and told him:

Knight 3: I brought them just as I said I would now once you kill them I get a cut in the fortune right?

Bandit Leader: Well done, and I did say you could get a cut but I meant this type of cut!!!!!*He said slashing the Guard as he stepped back and said*

Knight 3: NOOOO.... PLEASE DONT KILL ME YOU CAN HAVE THE KIDS!!!!!! AAAAGGGGHGHHHHHH!!

All the Bandits: HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHH !!!!!

Bandit 1: That fool actually believed us!!!!!

Bandit 2: Hahaha it's no wonder the king died by having such useless Guards and Knights!!!

Bandit 3: It makes thing easier for us though.

Bandit 4: You got that right Brother!!!!

Bandit Leader: Enough, now go get the children so we can get gold off from them!!!

Bandit 4: Alright alright you don't have to get angry, Boss!!!!*he said going to the door to open it but I ran to him and cut right a cross his back an killed him*AAAAGGHHH!!?!??!

Bandit Leader: You have a lot of guys coming here trying to play the hero, Kid!!!!!

(Y/N):...... Shut up.

Bandit Leader: What did you say to me, first you kill one of my men and now you insult me that's it your dead!!!!!!!*He said looking at his men*Men get him and make him regret coming here!!!!!

They all surrounded me until I ran towards one and sliced right down his chest causing him to fall down lifeless, then one came running behind me, turned around and clashed with his sword them I pushed him back and cut him down then the last one came at me with his giant axe which I managed to block, but then as he was about to strike again I slashed right through him faster then he could swing his axe.

Bandit 3: B-b-but h-how were we out matched by a kid, forgive us Boss.....*He said spitting out blood and then fell down lifeless all that was left now was the Boss*

Bandit Leader: W-w-what a-a-are y-you?!?!?!*He said shaking in fear*

(Y/N): Your worst nightmare!!!!*I said glaring at him and then ended his pathetic excuse for a life*Not so tough without you lackeys huh?*I said walking away but the somebody stopped me*

Emmeryn: E-e-excuse me?

(Y/N):*I look at her* What?

Emmeryn:I wanted to thank you for saving my family and me...... So thank you.*She said giving a friendly smile despite the scenery around her*

(Y/N):*Turns back around and start walking away* Don't worry about it, I just did what I thought was right.

Emmeryn: W-wait a minuet!!!*She said said trying to stop me, which it did* Umm my name is Emmeryn, the princess of Ylisse what's your name?*She said smiling at me* And I want to thank you somehow so could you please come with me and my family.

(Y/N): My name is (Y/N) and please you have no reason to be thankful to a monster like me.....

Emmeryn: What do you mean?*Emmeryn looked at me confused*

(Y/N): I mean even if I did save you and your family's life it doesn't excuse what I did here, it does not excuse me from taking all these peoples lives, but I did it I'm just an evil monster that kills and no one can change that......

Emmeryn: You think your evil??*I nod* I know that what you did was wrong but you did it because you thought it was the right thing to do.

(Y/N): What are you trying to get at???

Emmeryn: What I'm trying to say is that I don't think your evil (Y/N) or a monster, you did what you thought was right and in result of that you saved peoples lives, so please let me try to help you change and let me help show you that you are a kind person and a hero.*She said smiling brightly and holding out her hand*

(Y/N):*I turned away from her in shame* I'm no hero.....

Emmeryn: Yes you are..... You're my hero....*She grabbed my face a made me look toward her to see her blushing brightly* So please give me a chance to help!!!!

(Y/N):*I smile* You're one of a kind you know that, seeing a monster like me as a hero..... Alright..... I do not think a monster like me can change that easily.. but.... Allow me to accompany you My Lady.... I will pretext you from anything that will ever try to harm you....You're the first person who's ever shown kindness to me...... So I trust you.*You said smiling taking her hand*

Emmeryn: Thank you (Y/N) I promise I won't let you down!!!!!*Emmeryn said really happy and then we headed to the carriage were I met her little brother and her little sister.*

Chrom: Emm, who is this person??!?* Chrom said huggin Lissa who was scared*

Emmeryn: This is (Y/N) Chrom and he's the person that saved us from the bandits. *She pointed at the boy and then the girl* That's my little brother Chrom and that's my little sister Lissa.

Chrom:.........Thanks for saving us I guess......*Chrom said in a tone that basically said he didn't really trust you*

Lissa was hesitant at first but then ran up to me and gave me a hug thanking me for saving her and her siblings.

Lissa: T-t-thank you for saving my family.....*I was shocked at first and then I hugged the little girl back*

(Y/N):No problem Lissa, I promise from now on to protect you and your family....

Lissa:R-r-really..... Pinkie promise......*She said holding up her pinkie while blushing*

(Y/N): Yea pinkie promise.*I said wrapping my pinkie around hers and the I looked at Emmeryn who looked like she was really happy*

Emmeryn: I'm really glad to have you protecting us (Y/N) I know you won't let us down.*Emmeryn said smiling and blushing a little then I looked at Chrom who was a little mad and was about to say something then he decided against it.

Then I drove the carriage back to the castle, thinking about the things that just happened. Then I thought that my life was probably going to get better if I stayed with them and with that thought I smiled and told myself that I'll protect Emmeryn, Lissa, and Chrom even if it cost me my life..... Because they became my new hope for this world.
