a Raposa is the species in the series which the appearance is the cross between a human and a fox

Hope that clears some uncertainty, anyway I wanted give at least a little history so I thought this would a great time to introduce to you the main characters (or at least the characters I'm gonna be using a lot)

Let's begin :)

First up we have....

Jowee

"Oh Rapo... What am I getting myself into!?"

Gender: male
Species: Raposa

Jowee was not always incredibly serious, but loved adventures. He liked Mari and was very kind, but occasionally caused errors that costed the village. He started off seemingly with no goal in mind. Much later during the quest to defeat Wilfre for a second time, Mari goes missing and became far more serious. This change in attitude lead to him taking on the role of The Hero's sidekick. He risks his life to save Mari, which shows how devoted he truly is.

Mari

"It's not about what's best for us... it's about doing what is right"

Gender: female
Species: Raposa

Mari is the mayor of Raposa Village, succeeding her late father. She is determined and strong willed. She has low self esteem to begin with, but slowly gains confidence throughout her reign as mayor of the Raposa village. She is very much like a teenager in her mood swings, her moments of sulking and bad temper, and she is also very insecure.

Heather

"..."

Gender: female
Species: Raposa (human in the real world)

Heather is a timid Raposa who hardly speaks, and remained silent at the beginning. Her most notable feature is that the left half of her face is covered in Shadow. She was held captive by an ice dragon monster, and much later kidnapped by Wilfre. She was taught to speak by Crazy Barks and quickly learns from him.

Mike

"Why does everyone look so weird?"

Species: Human

Mike is a human from the real world who got trapped in the Raposa world, due to his coma.

We don't know an awful about Mike's personality, however, he is nice, according to what the Raposa have said. He is shown to have a lot of faith in people, not going straight to the conclusion of giving up. He is shown to be caring, as he did consider Wilfre's intentions to be decent in the sequel.

In the real world, Mike is also Heathers younger brother even though in he is older than her in the Raposa world

Wilfre

"You are all weak... and you will fail"

Gender: male
Species: Raposa/Shadow Being

Wilfre is a cunning Raposa who is skilled in persuasion and manipulation. He was able to trick leaders of different villages, including  persuading Mari to steal the Book of Life

Here's a little backstory:
Wilfre was once a normal Raposa - in fact, he was the most popular and respected of all the villagers, always the centre of attention. However, he questioned why the Raposa were not allowed to design their own creations in the Book of Life, saying that "It could be done better". After being denied access to the Book by the Mayor (the mayor before Mari and her father), he sneaked into Creation Hall, stole the Book, and brought it to his house, where he tried to bring his own drawings to life. However, they came out evil, dark, and twisted. When the villagers found out, the Mayor and the police ran him out of town. In a rage, Wilfre ripped the pages of the Book of Life into pieces and threw them into the wind, before leaving the village to decay as the creator's creations slowly faded away from the village

He later becomes the 'Shadow Being' he is and returns as a villain, however Hero, Jowee, Mari and all the other Raposa restores the village and (in the sequel) the whole of Raposa World, and they defeated him, twice

The Creator
Can't find an image but the creator is like the person in the sky ;)

"I will fill this mannequin with my presence, I will add colour to its frame. Together we will restore the village!"

Gender: Unknown
Species: Human
Age: Unknown, but possibly really old

As the name implies, they are the creator of the Raposa World and the Book of Life. The Creator sent The Creation Hero and restored colour to the world. They can speak directly to the Raposa and can interact with their world; The Creator usually has The Hero as the intermediary. The Raposa doubted them at first when the 'Eternal Flame' burnt out, but have resumed in trusting them. (The Eternal Flame was used to clear the Shadow that formed when the village went into decay. Wilfre's vandalization of the Book of Life caused the Eternal Flame to die out and the pedestal to lose colour)

The Hero/Drew

There's no definite appearance in the games since the player draws it but I'll be using the default
Gender: (in this book) Male
Species: Mannequin

It is drawn by The Creator with the intent of creating a champion to battle all the threats to the village. It also doesn't speak (There's not much else to say :P)

Crazy Barks (cause why not XD)

"CRAZYBARKSISGUARDINGHISROCK!"

Gender: male
Species: Raposa

Crazy Barks has a very strange mind. Despite this, he wishes to help those around him and will at times come in good use to saving the village from Wilfre. After being rescued by The Hero, Crazy Barks constantly guards his rock and chase villagers who come near it. XD
