Toothless' POV

I was pacing around on the beach wanting Stealthwave to come back, play, and hangout for the days that we were together. I saw Hiccup and Astrid coming down from the little cliff-hill and Hiccup looked at Astrid and said something before coming up to me. I stopped at he touched my back, and I looked at him sadly. 

"Hey I know what you feel, we all miss him, but you've got a new tail from him to remember him by if he doesn't come back, but I have a feeling that he's going to come back fine okay" I looked at him before nodding

But when he does come back I am going to kill him, I'll greet him, but then I'll scorn and kill him I said and it came out as growled and flares of my wings and Hiccup looked at me confused and I rolled my eyes and brushed past him with him hot on my tail, quite literally. 

"Hey mister don't roll your eyes at me" I heard him say stomping after me and I just whacked him with my tail sending him headfirst into the grass, and I looked back at him and laughed as he got up and pointed at me with a finger accusingly. 

"Okay, you asked for it" I stood tall as he rammed into me with the intention to tackle me but I didn't move an inch. I just rolled my eyes at his antiques and lifted him up as I went to the cliff part of the beach and held him over the edge. He looked down and then glued himself to me and I grinned at him remembering the last time I did this, and he looked down before looking at me. 

"You wouldn't dare" he said and I growled playfully

I would I grinned before using my head to brush him off of me and he fell screaming to the bottom of beach and then landed with a thump and I fell on the floor rolling around in laughter until I felt the edge of the cliff on my back and I froze. Then I saw Stormfly stand over me and realizing my situation she grinned evilly and stepped closer. I looked at her like 'don't you dare' and she just grinned again before pushing me off with her snout and I heard a couple 'no's from Hiccup and I felt something squishy underneath me as I landed on-top of him. I rolled off of him and looked at him get up from the sand and his face was covered in it, I looked at him again and then smiled toothless as I got another terrible idea. I flew up and went over the ocean with him in my claws, and I would normally do this to Snotlout due to his annoying attitude, but this was fun either way. I saw a flash of blue beside me and I looked over and saw Astrid on Stormfly looking at me with humor. 

"Come on Toothless I think that is enough terrifying Hiccup for today" Astrid said and I gave her my baby eyes and she looked away putting a hand towards me "no I am not going to fall for that this time Toothless, just put him on our back and we'll fly around for a little while" she stayed looking away as she said it and I huffed before I spun and threw Hiccup up, with him screaming once more. Then I felt a weight on the saddle on my back after a second or so and a second after the click of Hiccup's metal foot reached my ears. We flew for a while like she promised and I heard my rider thank Astrid for saving his so called 'hide' as we headed back to Berk. 

Stealthwave's POV

As I came up to Artemis' cabin I saw that Thalia was already on the porch and I stepped into her view covering her mouth before she could scream, and her eyes narrowed in anger as I did it and then I turned to my side and I pointed at Artemis with my tail and her expression softened but contained a slight amount of anger still. 

"Don't sneak up on me like that" she whisper-yelled scolding me and I grinned sheepishly and pointed at Artemis and then the cabin with my tail and she scooted aside letting me in. I used the water in the air to navigate the cabin with my tail and my eyes closed and I reached an empty bed that had smelled Artemis' scent all over it from when I breathed in all of the scents from the travel over to the cabin. Then I used my tail to carefully lift her from my back, and just as carefully--put her in the bed, and cover her with her sheets. 

Then I quickly maneuvered my way out of the cabin and opened my eyes to see Thalia asleep on the railing of the stairs. I did the same thing for her glad that all I had to do was reach in with my tail and put her in bed instead of having to quickly run out if I woke one of them up or if something were to go wrong. I smelled something on the horizon and I saw three shapes come over the hill an then they went back down the hill and thousands of monsters came up the hill. 

I shot over to where the watch person with the horn was only to see him asleep so I covered him in a box of thick stone with holes so that he could breathe and crossbars to protect him from arrows or something that might get in the holes. Then I heard the roars of the monsters that approached and the thumping of their armored bodies, and I cursed. That could wake up a few people. I shot out of the barrier and used my powers to enchant it to be sound and vibration proof and then I turned to the army with glowing silver vision. 

I extended four of my eight flaps of my tail due to me not wanting to accidentally shoot spikes into a cabin, through the barrier, and wake up the camp or accidentally injured someone. I heard the familiar shink of the spike at the end of my tail extending and I glared at the army in hate as my silver vision glowed in the darkness. We stayed like that, just standing there staring at each-other till dawn came. Then just before the rays of the sun was up, my vision changed from silver to blue as I lost the power enhancement of the moon. 

They must've felt the change too because they roared as one and ran towards me and the camp, and I grinned making my teeth shoot out and I made my respective elements cover the claws of my feet, Silver, Fire, Water, and Darkness with my second and fourth claws being a dark purple. I grinned as the ones in-front of me froze when they saw my teeth. Then I raised my tail above my head and opened the other four flaps multiple times making the Draknae in-front of me get a spike in each of their hearts. 

I made the flaps spin in a circle as I shot the monsters in-front of me and the ones that got too close to the barrier. Then I stopped shooting and closed four flaps once they stopped rotating around my tail and then I shot into the army. Barreling through their weak front lines: ripping, shredding, biting, and stabbing as I moved through them. I got the front lines pretty easily and then noticed that the slightly stronger monsters stayed farther back. 

They were the Phoenix, Kampe, a few Drakons with Empusa on their backs armed with bows or tridents, and I froze as I saw Kronos again in the back behind the second line and I saw griffins join the Phoenix's in the air and they had people on them which I guessed were rouge demigods...again. I grunted in pain as I felt something in my tail break out and I saw three more sections of flaps going up my entire tail, from eight to six, four, and two on the sides just before my body and tail met. I saw the spike on my tail retract and regrow with slight gold tint on it that seemed to glow. I realized that it was Riptide, so my trusty weapon stayed with me, even through my transformation. I shook my head telling myself that I would check out the new additions to my tail later, but first I had to deal with these abominations. 

The roar that I let loose was so powerful that it shook the ground and rivaled that of a drakon's, and I shot into the monsters once again frozen with shock more than fear. The Phoenix was first because it was stronger and was going to be harder to kill than the other monsters...well besides Kampe, but I'd worry about her next. I ran full speed making a streak in the ground and then I spread my wings and shot into the air straight at the bird of fire. I pulled in my claws, wings, and straightened my head subconsciously before going straight through it's searing hot flames, and it's chest before coming out the back unscathed. It exploded into flames but I quickly extinguished them and spread out the ashes with jets of water not letting them settle completely into a big pile and form another egg. The ashes crumbled to dust unable to form another egg again and I grinned before I heard a roar from Kronos. 

"DRAKONS GO AND INVADE THE CAMP" he said and the three beasts ran forward, but they were slower than me and I was already on-top of them tearing apart the Empusa that rode them and stabbing the Drakon through with my tail making them all explode into dust before they were even twenty feet into their run towards the camp. I felt anger, how dare he order the monsters to go and attack a defenseless, sleeping camp, no that's not happening, not on my watch. 

I felt my vision get brighter and the griffins exploded into dust as I glowed powerfully from anger. My body was a dangerous black and purple aura and I stalked forward towards Kronos and the surviving griffins flew down towards me. They didn't react soon enough and with a quick cut through the air--they no longer had heads. Not soon afterwards, they exploded inches away from going in for a dive towards where I was on the ground. I quickly killed the other monsters, even Kampe; having to crawl up her arm as she swiped at me and cutting through her neck, severing her head before moving on to Kronos. 

I challenge you Kronos, to a battle risking our titles, souls, and powers to the winner, or I kill you and you return to Tartarus reforming again from last time I said and his golden eyes gleamed and he smiled, nodding his head slightly.

"I accept" he said and his scythe was already coming towards me, but I was already in the air and blowing fire at his face while filling his arms with spikes so fast that you couldn't even see them streak through the air. He roared when he finally registered the pain but I was already encircling his neck letting my claws to cut through the front and my tail to cut through the back.  It proved as a good distraction because he dropped his scythe and gripped his neck trying to stop the golden blood, and oxygen from flowing out of it. 

I flew in-front of his horrified face and smiled a large dragon grin that would've made Apollo jealous. Then I powered through his heart like I did to the Phoenix then came back around and cut off his arms with my tail before circling around, cutting through his knees, on both sides, and then biting his ankles. Once I was done scarring up his legs, he fell to his knees, his face still full of shocked pain. Then I did a quick spin and lashed out with my tail, letting the surface of it flatten into a blade-like shape and cut completely through his neck. And I looked into his eyes as he looked down at me in shock and the pain he was going through causing his eyes to look like they were possessed by something. 

Next time think about the future, oh wait you won't have one I said and then I felt a pain in my back and I roared and looked back to see that an Empusa had survived and there was a ten foot long green spear protruding from my back and chest, pinning me to Kronos' disintegrating body. 

I raised my tail and shot the Empusa full of spikes and it barely got the chance to register the pain before before exploding into dust, and I felt like I was free again, but in a different way and I realized that half of Kronos' body was gone and replaced by sand, dislodging me from his chest. I fell to the ground and screeched again as the spear went further into my chest as I landed on my back. I felt the sand of Kronos' body cover my body as I lost my control over the enchantment I put around the camp. I fell onto my side and half of my vision went blank with the rest of what I could see covered in green, and all I could feel was the blood coming from my body and my body getting colder.

I screeched in pain once more as I felt something else enter my soul. I felt my body and soul changing as Kronos' domain, power, and soul was absorbed into me as the deal was sealed. I felt my vision change to a slightly golden tinted color, and then back to blue as I heard yelling and running steps from something around me. But I couldn't move to see it, and I was too tired to try and move to look. I felt something foreign in my body and my blood was burning me alive from the inside. The last thing I saw was the silver sock on Artemis' left leg as darkness overtook my vision.
