Hiccup's POV

Toothless and the other dragons dragged the six of us outside of the tent and a couple minutes later we saw white mist coming out from the inside of the tent and me and Astrid went in to see Stealthwave in a layer of ice. I went up to him and touched the surface of the ice and I felt heat underneath it, How? I looked back at Astrid.

"He's fine, it's like the ice is a protective layer as something is going on inside of it, like a cocoon" she came over and gasped as she felt it too, and then I noticed that his eyes were open, shouldn't they be closed. Then they moved and we backed up real fast and fell on our buts.

"You saw that too" she said and I nodded and then a rumbling sound came from the dragon shaking the floor and I realized that Stealthwave was laughing. 

"Don't do that to us, you scared us half to death" I yelled at him and his expression remained gleeful, and this confused me. Then the mist started to swirl and it formed words. 

I am in a state that uses little power while i heal myself. Need a-lot of concentration. Can't hear you talking due to the ice. Like this for a couple days, or weeks. 

What did he mean like this for a couple weeks, he won't be able to eat or anything and I saw his eyes close underneath the ice and it seemed to glow again and the ice got bigger, thicker, and he looked like he was dead inside of it. 

"Well that was" 

"Different" Astrid finished for me and we looked at each-other before walking out of the cave and telling the others and the dragons what happened and they went in and Toothless circled Stealthwave looking at him curiously. Then after a long while of talking and looking at Stealthwave in his strange state we eventually got cold and I issued a dragon race.

We were at the edge of berk facing the ocean, and I stated the rules. 

"We are to fly around Berk three times and meet up back here, and pushing shoving, and minor injuring is allowed. The Gronkle in-front of us will give the signal at random and" the Gronkle behind me burped casting out the signal and the others shot ahead. I sighed before quickly running over to Toothless, and we shot after them. A minute later we were halfway into the first lap and I passed Astrid. 

We went around for another lap and a half and it was the final lap and we had lapped the others once. Then she turned towards me. 

"Do you think that Stealthwave will fly again!" she yelled over the wind and me and Toothless slowed to be level with her, about halfway through already. 

"I don't know, maybe but it depends on if his state actually works on healing him" I said 

"Okay. Nice talking" she said suddenly and shot ahead and landed, winning the game, and we landed just after her. 

"Oh come on Astrid that wasn't fair, you used something that I cared about to win, cheater" I huffed playing around looking away and so did Toothless, mimicking my movements. 

"Well I had to do something to win" she said coming up to me and pecking me on the cheek before running off waving "I'm going to go and train, bye" 

I went over to Toothless who was being bothered by Stormfly, and he did his weird blabbing thing before grinning, and she flew off. Toothless tackled me licking me and I tried to push him off. 

"Come on bud, how many times to I have to tell you to stop licking--oof" I said before he pinned me with his head and then we went back, checked on Stealthwave, and went to bed due it becoming dark out. Three days later I was in the middle of checking on Stealthwave, and I saw that the ice was thinning and it was almost gone. Then the scout came in out of breath. 

"There's someone here to see you, and she has a new dragon" he said and I ran with him back to where the others were crowded around and I heard a yell of 'make way for the chief' and there was a path made for me. I walked through the people and met my mother who was already at the front of everyone. Then I saw it, there was a beautiful rainbow colored dragon and a girl with grey eyes and blond hair was in-front of it. 

"Hi my name's Annabeth and this is Aurora" then there was an explosion and something blue and fast shot past me and rammed into the girl and the dragon sending all three into the ocean. 

Stealthwave's POV

I started to wake up to the scent of her and I broke out of my cocoon of ice and let out my anger on the tent, and I glowed before there was a big explosion and I shot at the crowd and rammed into her and the rainbow colored dragon with her eyes and sent us both into the water. Then I made a bubble around her and the dragon's head and wrapped them both in chains and anchored the dragon underwater and put her arms and legs in chains of ice connected by another chain going along her back. Then I gave her my wolf glare and she looked at her dragon with sadness and I growled at her getting her attention again. Then I made words form in the water next to her and above her dragon. 

I am not going to hurt your dragon, but why did you come here? I waited as she red it and then she looked at me with hurt and sadness. 

"I know that you have no reason to trust me, and you shouldn't, but we need you back" she said and I scoffed in dragon form giving her a glare that would've made Zeus crumble. 

WHY? was all I said because I was too angry and the water wasn't calming me down as much as I thought it would

"There's another war, and we need your help, you're the only one who can stop him" she said and I answered with two words this time

Who? What?

"Tartarus has risen and Kronos is threatening to destroy the camps unless you show yourself Percy" I growled at my old name.

My name is Stealthwave now, and why should I help you? You were the one who betrayed me for my brother and your mother was for my death even though I asked her to marry you in my old life I said and then it got even better with my dad disowning me I made an arrow point at my broken trident scar.

I fell into Tartarus for you and took your pain, and then our uncle falsely accused me for being a traitor and killed me with his bolt, so why should I go back and help once again?

"You don't have to, but without you, our world will die, Tartarus will destroy us all, and Poseidon is fading because of what he's done" 

Good I turned away putting my back to her he deserves the pain he caused me, and for all I know the camps can die I opened my wings to leave, but she touched me with her knee making me freeze. 

"Then do it for your family, do it for Sally, Paul, do it for Grover and those who still believe in you, do it for Hecate, Artemis, Hestia, and Nico, do it for those that didn't betray you" her voice was quiet as she said the last part. 

Sally, Paul, and Sammy died during my quest for your hand in marriage I took off their chains but I will help you only for the ones who hadn't caused me pain, but don't expect me to stay. What will happen to your dragon? Will you betray her like you did me? Letting her die here in hunger and sadness while you fight another war and one that we may not win this time?

"No Aurora will come with us and turn into a sword that I'll have with me till my death, and I didn't know that they died...how?" 

Hell-hounds tore them apart and Tartarus left me a note of what he made them do to them I said and shot away not wanting to hear her answer. I shot up to the others and told them that I was going to be leaving for a while but would be coming back and would be staying. They seemed to understand and as soon as she got out of the water a portal opened on the beach and she looked at me before her and her dragon stepped through. I jumped down to it and looked at the others, and then Toothless before saying that I will be back and don't worry in the water as an ice float and I stepped through the portal. 

I wasn't surprised when my body didn't change into what I looked like before my death and then I heard gasps and I saw a bright flash of light and my old father was on his throne again and looking at me with sadness and pain. Then I noticed how they had all changed: Apollo looked bored and sleepy like Mr. D. so did Demeter. Athena had some strands of grey hair, Poseidon looked the worst of all of them and I saw his hair had changed from black to white, his skin was pale like Hades' and his clothes were also dull. 

I felt the oceans of the world and the creatures of them were complaining and whining about how dirty the oceans had become and how Poseidon wasn't doing his job as protector and regulator of the oceans. Many humans were dying due to the water changes, the beaches sand had become black and foreign, and I smelled fire, fear, pain, hunger, and sickness all over the world. The skies were covered in black clouds and the rain seemed to melt metal, and the air smelled of permanent sulfur and pain. 

I growled and there was a flash and a rumble of thunder as Zeus flashed in and I noticed that the campers smelled different, like they weren't mortal anymore. I noticed that Zeus was getting a couple of white hairs as well and his hair was grey now. I smirked as I realized that all of them had been affected by my 'death' but it went away as soon as I noticed Artemis, Hades, and Hestia. They all had bags in their eyes and they looked tired and sad. 

All of the gods looked up as she cleared her throat and all of their eyes widened as they saw me. Poseidon turned into water vapor and he appeared in human form and started to walk towards me, but I lowered my head and growled at him with my teeth out, my scales flaring, and my wings slightly raised. He stopped smelling of fear and he looked at the floor in sadness and I lay down looking at all of the gods with anger but when I got to the three who didn't betray me and I smiled genuinely at them.
