Well hello there, my ever-forgiving readers! I just wanted to pop in to update you on why there have been no updates.

I've apparently evolved into an adult now?

I work every day now. Every. Single. Day. I work part-time at a pizza place, weekends as an EMT, and I'm also working on some freelance writing and animations for a group of "game developers" (AKA college students thinking they're going to be millionaires because we took first in our community college game concept competition. There were three teams.) I've been spread creatively thin over my limited free time lately. Here's a pro tip for anyone reading this who thinks they might want to work in the film/gaming industry: Work for a company, not a Destiny 2 clan.

Whining aside, I do have more material in the works that I should be posting this Sunday. I should be. (Though that's what I said last Sunday, before I read the past few Lookism updates and fell asleep at 4:00PM... That's college, ladies and gentlemen.)

I would like to also get a little feedback on this story before I get too far ahead of myself. Congrats, you've been promoted from reader to test subject. *Overwatch victory sound* If you could, let me know your thoughts on the following doubts of mine...

- Is Lauryn getting too much screen time? Keep in mind that Lauryn is just a shameless author-insert that has become an ever-present figure who seems.. weirdly OP? I don't know. I'm not going to kill her/me off, I just worry that she is/I am becoming invasive in a story about you and Mark.
- Is this story getting too fictional?
A girl had a bomb stuffed in her and she exploded.. Not totally true-to-life. Yay or nay?
- Do you prefer cheesy romance or suspenseful action sequences?
Regardless, there will be both, just a different balance instead of my current climax-fluff-climax-fluff-repeat thing I've been doing.
-Should I edit New Neighbors?
I was reading it back the other day and.. eugh.. It's just.. Not up to my current standards.
