"Brynlee get up for school your going to be late. Don't make me come up there young lady." I heard my mom calling me from down stairs. I groaned and crawled out of bed. I stepped on the hard wooded floor with my bare feet and walked to my closet to pick out an outfit.

After I got dressed I grabbed my phone and bag and headed down stairs

When I walked down stairs I saw my mom who was reading the newspaper and drinking her coffee, and my older sister Brooklyn who was texting on her phone. (Like always...)

Her outfit was cute but not my type if you would ask me. It's a little to girly for me even though my outfit I have on is really girly. "Hey honey, you look nice this morning." My mom said.

"Thanks mom. I thought I should dress up a little bit for the last day of school. And I guess Brooke thought that too." I said pointing to Brooke who finally looked up from her phone and rolled her eyes. "Um sis don't you have to be there early to you know, help them out with the yearbook and get everything ready since your a senior and it's your last day of school?" I asked. She gasped and looked over at the clock on the wall.
"Aww man. Thanks sis. I'm going to be late!" She said grabbing her bag and ran out the door to her car. I giggled a little about that.
"Sweetie shouldn't you get going to the bus stop by now? You don't want to be late." My mom said.
" You're right mom. I should get going. Love ya. I'll see you after school." I said giving her a hug and heading out the door to the bus stop.

When I walked to the bus stop the bus was coming in to a slow loud stop. The door opened with a loud screech. "Good morning miss Brynlee." The bus driver said.

"Good morning to you to Mark." I said waving back to him and walking back to the back of the bus to sit with my friends. "You better scoot on over to make some room, Carmen." I said moving in next to her.

"Oh ok. But only because your my bestie." Carmen said scooting over to the window.

"Hey don't forget me back here all alone." I heard my other friend Kiana said. We both looked behind us and saw Kiana giving us the puppy dog eyes. Me and Carmen laughed.

"How could we forget you Kiana?" I said giving her a hug over the seat.

"I don't know. Because without me you two would have no idea what your doing." Kiana said laughing at the end of the sentence while me and Carmen joined in.

A blonde boy in front of us turned around and asked "What are you three all laughing about?"

"Yo face!" Carmen shot back.

"Yeah because my face is just so hot." He said.

"Then why don't you leave if your so hot?" Carmen asked.

"Oooh!" I said while high fiving Kiana.

"Ooh! You just got burned!" The brown headed boy next to him head.

"Shut up Evan." The boy said.

"What? I'm just saying the truth bro." Evan said putting his hands up in defense.

"Connor can never admit that he never has to be right all the time." Carmen said. Connor rolled his eyes and turned back around. Evan gave us a wink and a thumbs up and turned back around. We all laughed again.

*Skipping to after school*

"Oh! Thank you so much Mr. Mulch. I will not disappoint you! Thank you thank you thank you! Yes ok, ok will do." I heard my mom said talking on her phone while I was walking inside.

Hmm, Mr.Mulch. Isn't that mom's boss? Why would she be talking to him?

I slammed the door a little loud so mom could know that I was here. She jumped a little and turned around. "Oh hey honey. How was school?"

"Good... Anyway mom why were you talking to your boss?" I asked putting my backpack down on the floor and sitting on one of the chairs at the kitchen table.

"Oh well. I was just about to talk to you about that. Well my boss brought me up to a promotion! Honey isn't that exciting?!" She said.

"Um yeah. But doesn't that mean will have to move?..." I asked sadly.

"Yes sadly. But don't worry you'll fit in just fine." My mom comforted me.

"Ok... Um when are we leaving?" I asked.

"Well today is Wednesday, so that would make us leaving on... next Monday." She said.

"Next Monday!?"

"Yes sweetie I'm sorry. At least you'll have four days."

"Ya.. I guess. When do I have to start packing?"

"Around Friday."

"Does Brooklyn know about this?"

"No not yet she is still at school. She's working with some other of the seniors for something. I'll tell her tonight. Now she will be a handful to tell." My mom said chuckling.

"Oh. Ok I'm going up stairs." I said grabbing my bag and walked up stairs.  I opened my door to my room.I sat my bag down by my desk. I rolled out my chair and sat down. I turned on my computer and went on WhatChat.com (Idk I made it up.) I decided to text my friends and tell them the bad news.

Bryn-Hey guys u on?

Kia- I am. Like always. LOL.

Carm- Ha ha very funny Kia. I'm on too.

Ev- Hey don't forget about us dudes.

Con- Ya. What are we chop liver?

Bryn- How could we forget about you guys?

Ev- I have no idea...

Carm- Anyway... Bryn why did you want us on here?

Bryn- Oh ya... about that I have some bad news.....

Ev- Like how bad??

Con- Like the end of the world bad or I don't know where my phone is bad?

Bryn- Like I don't know where my phone is bad. Anyway. The bad news is that my mom got a promotion-

Kia- Isn't that good?

Bryn- Well ya but that means will have to move...

Carm- WHAT!!!!!:(

Ev- I'm with Carm. WHAT!?

Con- You can't move. If you move then half of our group will be gone...

Bryn- I know... That makes me so mad. And I can't do anything about it... Um hey guys can you meet me at the park like I don't know in 5 or 10 minutes?

Con- Sure

Ev- On my way.

Kia- Ya

Carm- Yepers

After that I closed my laptop grabbed my phone and walked down stairs.
"Hey mom, I'm going to the park to meet with some friends."
"Ok sweetie. But be back before 9 or 10."

*At the park*
Carmen, Kiana, and Evan sat on the benches and me and Connor sat in the grass.
"I can't believe you're moving." Evan finally said breaking the silence.
"Yeah, I know. Same here." I said.
"It's not going to be the same without you." Carmen said.
"It's never going to be the same again. We will always remember you Bryn." Kiana said. We all stood up and did a group hug. "Guys I should probably get back. I have to be back by 9." I said sadly.
"Were all going to miss you Bryn much. Your like our best friend." Connor said.
"I know. You guys are my best friends too. I just don't know what I'm going to do without you." I said trying not to cry. Connor saw a glimpse of me crying and wipped away my tears. I smiled. He smiled back. "Thanks... I'm going to miss you so much Connor. You mean a lot to me. You all do." I said as I looked down at my watch on my arm and the time said 9:00. "Uh guys I'm sorry but I gotta get home. It's 9:00 and I have to be there before 10:00." I said as they all pulled me into another big hug. We all said pur goodbyes and we went home.
