Sky's POV
After I get home from a long day at school I put my book bag and papers in my room and put on my bathing suit and go in my back yard to swim.

I get in and just lay on my back and float, I close my eyes thinking of how my day was.

*Flash Back*

I walk into my Math class ready to learn and I sit in my normal seat all alone.

I notice that the queen bee Ashley isn't in her normal seat so I get extremely nervous. (She bullies me everyday)

So I turn and face the board when all of a sudden I hear the clicking of heels getting closer and closer to me.

I turn to see Ashley walking into class and I see her eyes look over everyone's faces then she stops at mine.

She walks up to me and I just stand up ready to leave the room as fast as possible.

"Hey little squirt where do you thin your going?" She asks as she shoves me back against the counter.

"Just leave me alone Ashley!" I say not making eye contact.

"Oh what are you going to do if I don't?" She says and walks closer to me.

"Why don't I teach you a little lesson you pig!" She says and she pushes me on the ground then walks away.

I get up and get back into my seat and just wait for the teacher to come into the classroom.

*End of Flash Back*

I just wanna stay floating in this water and just go under and stay there until I don't wake up because I'm tired of the bullying.

I get out of the pool and head to my room as I put on my pj's and wrap my hair in a towel.

"Sky come down here please!" My mom calls for me from downstairs.

"Hopefully she hasn't been drinking." I mutter to myself then go downstairs.

I walk into the kitchen with her and my dad sitting at the table with cups filled with vodka.

"Honey we have some bad news." My mom says and takes a sip of her drink.

I just stand there confused...

"We're moving to Georgia." She says and my mouth literally drops.

"Everything is gonna change! I promise! My drinking and him being abusive!" She stars pointing at my father.

"Yeah like that's gonna happen! Ya know when I go to school with bruises and cigarette burns and people see they laugh at me! Bully me! You guys will never change!" I scream holding my back my tears.

"You talk that back right now young lady! Your making your mother upset!" My father says standing up and hovering over me.

"I'm not gonna take back the truth!" I yell taking a few steps away from my father.

"That's it!" He screams and grabs his cigarette and puts it in his mouth and grabs my arm and pulls me upstairs.

He throws me in my room and I literally smack against the wall and my dad comes over and slaps me.

Then he takes his cigarette and starts burning my skin with it and finally her takes his hands and snaps my arm.

He leaves my room as I begin crying softly and I stand up and grab my phone and call the hospital.

"Hello...can I come to the hospital right away I think my arms broken." I say and hang up.

I grab my phone and keys and climb out the window and onto my roof then sliding down the tree and getting in my car.

I drive o the hospital and I walk in and I pull my jacket up farther so no one sees the burns on my good arm.

I reach the front desk "hello how may I help you?" The lady at the front desk asks.

"Yeah um I called a few minutes ago about my broken arm." I say pointing at my arm.

"Oh yes well we have a room ready for you so go ahead and go on up." She says pointing towards level 2.

Two Weeks Later

I got my cast off yesterday and my burns finally healed and I just finished unpacking last night and now I'm off to bed.

I wake up in the morning and I realize it's much colder here than in Florida so I grab my black sweater that says "I'm a nerd so nerds rule" and a pair of black skinny jeans and my black converse.

I grab my back pack and head off to school before my mom and dad wake up so I walk to school.

This is my first day of school and I'm so nervous and I realize I forgot my beanie so I look in my book bag and luckily my black one is in there.

So I put it on and continue walking and when I get there everyone is in the hallway and they start staring at me.

I keep walking until I find a boy who isn't looking at me with his back turned to me.

"Excuse me can you direct me to the office?" I say tapping the boys shoulder.

Which has some muscle to it and when he turns I couldn't believe who it was.

"Chandler...Riggs..." I say taking a hand to my face.

"That's me! You must be new. Whats your name?" He asks and we start walking.

"Skylar Fuller but you can call me Sky." I say trying not to stare at his beautiful ocean blue eyes.

"That's a beautiful name for a beautiful girl." He says and I begin to feel my cheeks burn.

"Well let's hang out at the park after school?" He says handing me a slip of paper.

"Okay." I take the paper and he starts to walk away.

"Um Chandler where's the office?" I ask an he turns smiling at me.

"Down the hall then take a left okay?" He says and walks away after I nod.

Chandler's POV
She was beautiful as she walked away and I couldn't believe she new who I was.

Well I'm on a popular TV show so yeah that might explain why so I go to class.

I sit down and take out my phone and go to WattPad and look up Skylar Fuller.

But nothing pops up so I type Skylar a different way but I get the same results as before.

So I type Sky Fuller and there she is first one and her profile pic is beautiful her and her smile.

I look through her page and find a fan fiction of The Walking Dead so I read it.

I find out there is one about me and I read it all and I couldn't wait for the next one.

My next class was boring but I saw Sky so I went over and sat next to her.

"Hey stranger I say, can I sit?" I ask pointing at the chair.

"Yeah go ahead!" She says smiling at me.

"So are you a walking dead fan?" I ask looking at her.

"Yeah I big one." She says fiddling with her hair.

"Well who's your favorite?" I ask as I look at her wondering if she'll say me.

"Well I like Carol, Michonne but mostly....you." She says blushing her cheeks cherry red.

"Yeah I saw you WattPad fan fiction." I say and her eyes grow big.

"Really?" She says biting her lip.

"Yeah I like it and you need to update soon." I say an she smiles.

I look at her wrist and I see a red mark so I get really curious so I try to find a way to see what it is.

"So you like sweaters huh?" I ask then pulling her sleeve and then pulling it down to see cut marks.

She hurries and pulls it back down "why would you do that Chandler!?" She says tears forming in her eyes.

"Sky it's okay I'm sorry I don't care if you do that but you need stop now." I say very concerned.

"Well having a abusive father who drinks and a mother who drinks all the time it's kind of hard when no ones there!" She says as tears drip down her beautiful face.

I wipe them away "you have me now!" I say and hug her pecking he cheek as I pull away.

"Thanks Chandler!" She says smiling.

"You can call me Chan ya know?" I say getting nervous (I say ya know when I get nervous).

"Okay and you say ya know too." She says pointing at me.

"Yeah I say it when I get nervous...around a beautiful girl like you." I say twirling my fingers.

"I know how you feel ya know!" She laughs and I laugh.

After schools over we walk to the park together and we get to know each other a lot better.

We find a bench and sit down and I see her shivering so I take off my leather jacket and put it around her.

"Thanks, I know it's been a day but I feel like I've known you forever, ya know?" She says looking at me and smiling.

"Yeah you make me smile like no one else does." I say grabbing her hand and hers fits perfectly into mine like they were meant to be together.

Sky's POV
He grabs my hand and are hands fit together like they were made for each other.

"Sky I have something to ask you." He says ending the silence between us.

I look at him and nod " I know we just met today but do you wanna be my girlfriend?" He asks as his cheeks turn ruby red.

"Yes I would love to!" I say and peck his nose.

We get up to leave and we walk to the street where we have to say goodbye but instead of a bye he grabs my waist and pulls me into a kiss.

I pull away after a minute and smile at him then walk home still having his jacket.

I get home to my mom and dad fighting that's when my happiness ends.

"Sky where were you?" My mom yells.

"I went to the park with a friend." I say calmly trying not to start something that will end up hurting me.

"Well you need to tell me next time!" My dad says grabbing my arm tightly.

"Alright." He finally lets go and I walk upstairs and when I close my bedroom door my phone rings.

I see a pic of me and Chandler holding hands as the ringing picture.

I answer as I lay down on my bed "hello?" I ask playing dumb.

"Hey Sky I was wondering if you had the math pages...I don't know what page number to do." He asks and I smile.

I get up quickly "Yeah wait--" everything goes black as I fall to the ground dropping my phone.
