The Train car bounced over the tracks as it rolled on, past different terrains, past other cities and towns. It stopped only a few times, and only to let the people who were already on the train, off.

The last stop would be the one Alumina would get off of, and there it would be filled up again by even more people.

This trip was going to take several hours to get where her job would start.

Alumina was currently leaning against the window with her back, feet propped up on the seat next to her and arms crossed over her chest, a small bag settled in her lap. Her head resting against the window, eyes closed and breathing deeply as she began to dose off, now that the sun was starting to sink outside.

Her keys on her belt clinked together as the train moved, and not for the first time in her life, the Train car had been emptied from anyone but herself, so she was left alone in the sinking light.

Despite the unwanted fear she felt about falling asleep, she couldn't ignore how tired she was, and it seemed her body wouldn't let her forget it either. Her eyes opened once, trying to fight the weariness pulling at her eye-lids, but failed miserably as they fell again, and sleep began to wash over her mind.

One would think she might be unable to sleep on a Train, after what had happened to her while she had been on one. But honestly, trains did not bother her in the slightest despite the pain and horror that had become associated with them for her.

To her great relief, the dream about the Train Crash did not reappear, instead she was just plunged into the warm darkness, of a dreamless sleep.

No One POV

Shadow began to cover the entirety of the train car, as the sun sank all the way. The train never slowed, it continued along its course silently. Shadows crept in over the car slowly, until it was plunged into darkness as the sun disappeared behind the horizon, the red and orange light fading, the moon beginning to rise up into the darkening night sky.

A shimmer of gold lit up the dark train car as Loke appeared, sitting down in the seat across from Alumina, hands folded in his lap, and eyes closed. "Sorry its so late, Alumina. But-" Loke murmured, opening his eyes to look her way, when he stopped short upon seeing her asleep.

He sighed and shook his head a little. It hadn't gone unnoticed by him, on the few occasions he had showed up to check on her while she had been healing, and it had become apparent to him, that she was a lot more tired than she had been letting on.

He knew why too, she had been having nightmares, but when he questioned her about them, all he had gotten was the explanation of the train accident.

His heart ached for her about it, honestly he was just surprised that she had managed to seem so happy and cheery all this time. One would think something as traumatic as that... Would have left some sort of imprint on her.

He rest his chin in his folded hands and let his eyes close.

Alumina... Maybe you would feel better if you just... Let it all go...

He faintly wondered if Ursa knew about the accident Alumina had been in. Part of him knew that she was aware. How could she not be? Alumina and Ursa were clearly the best of friends, and he was fairly certain Ursa had been Alumina's possession at the time the wreck occurred.

Right now, she didn't seem to be having any nightmares. Opening his eyes again he looked her way, and let out a relieved sigh at the realization. She didn't need any more bad dreams keeping her from sleep. Now that she was asleep, he would have to wait to talk with her. He wasn't about to wake her up, that would just be cruel.

He smiled faintly, glasses reflecting the light of the moon outside.

He had to admit... She was sort of cute when she was asleep. She looked so peaceful, and the moonlight shimmering on her pale blonde hair, only added to her serene beauty.

His face began to burn as he realized what he had been thinking. It was wrong of him to be thinking things like that... But was it? He liked to flirt with girls all the time... But something about thinking things like that about Alumina, it didn't feel the same.

Hell if he knew why though

Pushing those slightly flustered feelings aside, he rose to his feet and stepped toward her. He would leave and wait until the morning, and he hoped she would wake up in time to get off at her stop.

Pausing, he decided he would just come back later to make sure she got off when she needed to instead.

Smiling again, he gently brushed the hair covering her left eye, away from her face. He didn't know what he was expecting... He had just never seen that eye, her hair was always covering it.

Again, he found himself wondering just why she did such a thing, then, he got his answer.

Her eyes snapped open almost immediately after he had brushed away her hair, and he froze when his gaze locked with hers, both eyes.

The right one was as it always was, the pretty pale blue.

The left however, was almost completely white, the once pale blue color it used to be, was hazed over.

She stared up at him in utter shock, looking somewhere between horrified, and stunned. That's when an odd symbol appeared within her left eye, it glowed brightly in a golden color, and it was shaped like a mini Magic Circle, with the small symbol of a scroll in its center.

He went rigid upon seeing the symbol within her eye, and his mind suddenly fell away into an unknown place.

"Loke!"

The minute his senses were lost to the darkness, searing pain spread up throughout his entire body. It felt as if someone had stabbed him through the side, with something that had been laced with the deadliest poison.

He couldn't think straight, everything was wrong, he couldn't see anything, couldn't make anything out.

Searing pain spread through his very center, radiating out and through all of his limbs, his entire being. A whole hell of a ton of the pain was centered around his left eye, and he could feel the warm sticky liquid of blood dripping down from it, staining his cheek red.

Disoriented and frantic screams echoed out around the darkness, and he fell to his knees, no longer to keep himself from shouting out in pain.

Pain shot through his side again, the sound of screeching metal rang out around.

Images flashed before him, people were falling toward the ground around him, cut open and eyes still wide with horror, blood paintingeverything around him. here was fire, destruction, death, screaming.

The pain consuming him increased ten-hold, and he yelled out even louder.

This was torture.

It felt like someone was pulling his inwards out of him one at a time, like he was being stabbed, like he was set on fire...

Everything went silent, and he fell.

"L..Loke...!"

"...please..! Wake... Up...!"

"Leo!"

Groaning, he slowly opened his eyes, body rigid, he was still feeling the pain, though it was beginning to fade. He could barely make out the frantic shouting around him.

There were two different voices, and he lay eyes on Alumina and Ursa, who were crouched beside him.

Alumina was looking at him with wide eyes, small tears at the edges of the one visible eye, her right one, she had put her hair back over the left one. She looked... Frantic, the opposite of Ursa.

Ursa was looking down at him with a semi-serious expression, she looked a lot calmer and in control than Alumina did in this instance.

Moon-light was still filtering in through the train window, of which he was on the floor of the train-car. Every little jar of bump the train had, would chase him to stiffen in pain, clenching his jaw as he kept himself from yelling out. He was drenched in sweat, and his breathing was coming in ragged, strained breaths.

"Loke... Are you ok...?" Alumina asked quietly, managing to keep the tears at bay for now.

He didn't have the strength to answer her right away, instead he tried to steady his breathing, as the pain slowly began to fade away, though the sharp ache and sting over his body didn't go away.

"Leo..." Ursa murmured. "... That was probably the stupidest thing you have ever done..." She muttered, looking away from him for a moment, and sweatdropping.

"...what... What was that...?" He managed to get out, his throat felt rough and dry from yelling.

"I... I'm sorry you had to go through that..." Alumina whispered, dropping her head so her face was overshadowed. She was shaking, and he swore he could hear her breathing just as harsh as his own. "... I'm sorry..."

Alumina swayed a little, almost falling forward, but in an instant, Ursa had grabbed on to her and steadied her, biting her lip, golden eyes lighting up with worry. His own worry lit up for the blonde, despite how he was feeling now, and he would have done anything to help her, but he couldn't move.

"Alumina... You need-" Ursa murmured but Alumina shook her head.

"No... Loke, I'm closing your gate, and I'll ask Virgo to check up on you..." Alumina murmured. "Ursa... You should-"

"Not happening." Ursa growled, surprisingly harsh for this situation. "Not until you're ok." She muttered, glancing back to Loke.

He couldn't mistake that look of fear and worry in her eyes, despite her apparent calm demeanor. She sighed a little and closed her eyes for a moment.

"Rest, Leo."

Ursa's words were the last thing he heard, before Alumina had forced his gate closed and he was sent back to the Spirit World.
