The sound of metal skidding across metal echoed around the darkness, it occasionally being lit up by fragmented pictures of destruction, screaming in the background was almost droned out by the sound of an explosion.

It was disorienting, there was no making sense to any of the images flashing around, or the sounds piercing what had been silence before...

The screech of breaks was the loudest, before a large boom rang out and images of fire and melting framework stretched across the curtain of black stretching all around.

A scream of sheer pain and the sound of tearing flesh cut through whatever noise was around, and pictures of blood splattering against the flames and the destruction appeared.

None of the other screams echoing all around came close to how pain filled that one was, but the scream almost immediately died away.

What is this?

What's going on?

Shouts and orders were being yelled out every which way, but they were all to muffled to make out what was said. People were running, or stumbling, trying to get away from the destruction.

The air was tinged with the scent of smoke, burning metal, wood. Everything was hot, heat engulfed everything around.

Some people didn't even move, they didn't breath, they were down. Either pinned under some sort of debris, or crushed between the framework that had been warped and wrinkled since the start of this mess.

Some of them were just torn apart, the razor sharp segments of the metal framework that had cracked and broken, tearing those poor souls to bits, leaving them in an unrecognizable heap among the destruction.

It was chaos.

All of it was just complete and utter chaos. How could something like this happen so fast?

The one thing that was clear, was the pain. The searing pain spreading throughout her entire being,

It all made sense, this was something she had had a hard time remembering, but now, now she was starting to understand it...

"Porlyusica says that she should be fine, though it will take some time for her to fully heal." Master walked down the stairs slowly with his arms crossed behind his back, eyes closed. "And it may be awhile before she wakes up."

Behind him, Wendy and Carla were slowly making their way down the stairs behind him. Carla was constantly glancing back and forth at Wendy, who was looking exhausted, having used her Healing Magic for at least three hours now.

Alumina had been brought to the Guild once Wendy had healed her enough to be moved, about two hours ago. Porlyusica had arrived rather quickly, thanks to Jet's speed.

Now the entire Guild was assembled downstairs, they had been sitting in silence waiting for news on how the Celestial Mage was doing.

Natsu was seated on the floor in the center of the hall, eyes closed and arms resting on his knees. He hadn't said a word since they had gotten back, and Erza, Gray, Laxus and Gajeel were still assembled in a circle around him.

Happy was standing in front of Natsu, his eyes had been fixed in his partner for the longest time, he was just trying to piece it together.

How could Natsu do such a thing?

"Her wounds were serious, but Porlyusica has hope she will pull through." Master continued, not bothering to open his eyes. It seemed like everyone in the Guild let out sighs of relief, their worry for Alumina suddenly waned away, only to be replaced with anger toward the one who had hurt her.

All eyes turned on Natsu, and Master reached the bottom of the stairs. Makarov made his way up to Natsu slowly, all eyes following the old man across the floor.

Wendy stopped at the bottom of the stairs and took a seat on the last step, not even bothering to watch Master walk toward Natsu.

They were all angry with Natsu for this, but at the same time they were extremely confused. Why had he done it?

Master stopped right in front of Natsu, Happy moving away to get out of his Guild-Master's way. Finally, Makarov opened his eyes and stared Natsu down, frown pulling at his lips, eyes narrowed.

"Natsu." Master growled,

Natsu opened his eyes and looked toward Makarov slowly, his eyes no longer had that dazed look and he just gave the old man a neutral expression as he waited for him to speak.

"Your actions are unacceptable." Master started, keeping his voice low and calm but everyone could hear the anger in it. "Guild -Mates do not attack one another, brawling is not the same as full on attack against one of your fellow members. Guild-Mates are supposed to protect one another, care for each other, we are all family here." Master told him firmly. "I should expel you for this."

Natsu looked away, not meeting his Master's gaze as everyone just watched in silence.

Expel Natsu...?

Master let out a low sigh, and his eyes closed.

"I know life has been hard since Lucy died." Master said in a low tone and Natsu stiffened at the name. "I knew that you have been living with all of your grief and anger locked up inside of you. I knew that I should have tried to help you." Master opened his eyes again and looked at the floor. "But I did nothing to help you, so some of this is my fault I suppose."

"Master.." Erza stepped forward but Makarov shook his head at her, and she fell silent.

"I'm not going to expel you, Natsu." Master continued and Natsu glanced up at him. "But I need you to seriously think of what you have done, think about everything that has happened." Master told him. "I am hoping that you will start to understand what you have done wrong, and what the true meaning of family means." Master told him.

Silence passed again as Makarov paused, Natsu's eyes had grown a little wider in surprise.

"But you will not be getting away with this without punishment." Master put in. "Until I have decided on what to do with you, you are forbidden from taking any more jobs, or leaving the town." Master said in a firm tone, and Natsu looked away.

"Alright..." Natsu agreed in a small voice and Master turned away.

The old man was seriously hoping that Natsu would come to realize what he had down was completely out of line, and that he would come to regret his actions.

Master walked back toward the stairs without another word, and headed up them in silence, before he disappeared, heading toward his office.

The first floor of the Guild went completely silent, all of them were just casting uneasy glances back and forth, at each other, and at Natsu.

"So why the hell did you go after her, Salamander?"

Gajeel's gruff voice was what broke the tense silence, and all eyes flicked from him, to Natsu, waiting for an answer. Natsu didn't even look up at Gajeel, he was staring at the floor.

For a long time Natsu didn't say anything, before he closed his eyes and got to his feet.

"I was angry." Was all the pinkette said as he quickly turned around and walked out of the Guild, leaving the rest of them to watch him go in silence.
