I was an uneventful few weeks, I was actually somewhat bored, but kept that to myself. I know I should not be complaining. I still got to spend time with Dmitri and Nickoli, as well as found  time for Mady and my new best friend Mason which included Matt half the time.

All week I tried to forget what was coming but the damn day was coming to fast. Slightly distracted, depressed, I did my best to hide it from everyone. I did well till today. I debated all day whether or not to cancel the dinner plans with Dmitri. I wanted to be alone, but needed to feel his arms around me. Before I made up my mind about cancelling the doorbell rang. It was too late, Dmitri had arrived on time as usual. Dmitri stood there with that sexy smile, eyes gleaming, in his snug dark wash jeans and my favourite sky blue dress shirt that set off his eyes.

"Hey, babe," his velvet voice, wrapped around me and brought me some much needed peace. He pulled me into his arms and I just about broke down. The safety I felt as overwhelming. I pulled myself together before slapping that smile on my face.

"Hi," I said, I stood on my toes for a much needed hello kiss. "You alright?" he asked, before laying another kiss on my temple. "Tired," It wasn't a lie. I was tired to the bone, but that wasn't the whole truth. Needed a subject change I took his hand and lead him to the living room. "So, I was thinking pizza, a movie, and a comfy couch." Normally we stayed in if he had to work after but the odd time he would surprise me.

"As long you're in my arms, I'm a happy man," Dmitri said, as he swept me up in his arms and carried me to the couch. I could have stayed in his arms forever. His scent covered me putting me into my own personal abyss. If I could stay this way forever my life would be perfect. "Not that I'm complaining but are you sure you're alright," his voice was soft with concern.

Maybe I haven't been doing as well as I thought. I was pretty sure I was been blocking just like Jack and Lawrence were teaching to do. With Dmitri I had to do better. "I'm just tired and I'm in the mood to cuddle," I said, once again not a lie just not the whole truth. "I'll put the movie on and grab us drinks and you call for the pizza," I added to change the subject. Back on my feet, I stretched up for another kiss that quickly turned from innocent to steamy.

Dmitri withdrew first. "Go put a movie on." he said with a smile. When I turned I got a playful slap on my ass.
