Monday

It was the first week of school at Evertingon Prep. If anyone wasn't aware, Evertingon Prep is a boarding school of sorts. Though, this school never did have uniforms because of the school's staff on his restricting they are.

No uniform.

They can wear any outfits along its appropriate and won't distract anyone. So, Cleo brought out this outfit from her closet.

She puts the outfit on, fixing the bra that was supporting her chest to make sure it fits before putting on deodorant. The spray on kind anyway since she didn't want to use the physical kind so that her mother can steal to use.

She puts her long hair in a braided-high ponytail to start a new week. Once teeth are brushed and mouthwash used, she even used some face cleaner to make herself look decent.

Off she goes to get the schedule from the principal's office. Once heading into the office and said her name, she was given the schedule.

First Class - Finance
Second Class - Cooking
Third Class - Operations Management
Fourth Class - Organizational Behavior
Fifth Class - Invention Elective
              Free Hour
Sixth Hour - Bilingual (More than one language)
Seventh Hour - Health
Eighth Hour - History

So, Cleo went to finance class and settled into the seat she was assigned into. Of course, the professor just introduced her and told her to sit.

Such a real one.

Cleo was sitting next to a latina girl who went by the name Marie Rivera.

Strangely, Cleo felt like she known Marie somewhere before but, never could tell where.

"If your curious, the subject we are doing is Stocks Valuation. Play it smart and don't get tricked." was all Marie said before playing the finance game on the chromebook.

"Children." said the Professor with a small shake of his head.  "Since we got a new student. Do you all feel like doing a Stocks review?"

The class did have some complaints but, agreed none the less. So, everyone did a popcorn quiz over the types of common stock, corporations and stock market transactions.

They all gave information by popcorn to help Cleo catch up.

The professor expects them to know the material by heart. Thankfully, they did and was proud of his kids.

If you wanna know the type of stock. Here are the types.

Types of common stock:
Classified stock - Common stock that is given by special designation such as Class A or Class B to meet the special needs of the company.

Founders' Shares - Stock owned by the firm's founders that enables them to maintain control over their company without having to own a large majority of stock.

Types of Corporations:
Closely Held Corporations - one that not everyone has access to purchasing the shares (stockholders) from as this is privately held.

Publicly Owned Corporations - these are ones that had gone with a IPO (IPO stands for Initial Public Offering and is a type of trade done for the stock market transactions by a privately held firm on the primary market (to be covered in the next segment)

Types of Stock Market Transactions:
Primary Market - this is where the stock  starts and is held by someone who has rights to own it.

Secondary Market - this is essentially a person who had rights to the stock and sold it to someone else, now making the stock to the next person simply become "secondhand."

Going Public - Just means the company is making the jump from being privately held or closely held to become publicly owned.

Initial Public Offering (IPO) - explained in the "Types of Corporations" segment under Publicly Owned Corporations.

While doing a popcorn review, Cleo learned that Marie is a senior student at Evertington.

As the day went on, Cleo figured out that her old school was merely childs play and those who were doing bad deeds did get punished.

"Lila wouldn't survive this school at all." Cleo mumbled to herself with a small snort. "Then again, this school has more brains than my old school did. What a shocker."

Cleo also noticed that the school had shown very interesting punishments.

Popcorn Reading - This scared many because mostly not everyone pays attention. When it's your turn and you don't know where you are.

The teacher has a right to make a example out of you.

Standing in front of the class - No one likes to be in the center of attention if you are gonna be the humiliation target.

Helping the janitor and lunch ladies - No one wants to get their hands dirty this day and age. If you purposely make a mess, someone has a right to snitch and you get to be a mini lunch server or a janitor.

Calling teachers by their first names - Don't you ever do this. Be respectful and don't be a idiot. If you say your teachers name, you will get sent to the office and will get a full on lecture on how your simple words can make a teacher seem like a predator. And the principal has every right to call your parents and be brutal.

Lying - Lying and can't prove it? You get a smack on the hand by a ruler. Because spreading false information can cause a issue. Now can it?

"The school doesn't care about today's rules for discipline." speaks one student to Cleo, "It gives others a message that messing around has consequences. A teacher even made a student bring back their shoe after getting hit by it."

"Just don't be an idiot and you'll gonna be fine." another student added as the said student walked past them both.

Cleo knows one thing.

Galloroman is very different than Paris. Usually her old school would punish the victims and let the actual troublemaker go free.

Frankly, Cleo can go with this change of school justice system. It's fair, rightfully justice and it punishes students for acting out of line or misbehaving.

This school is a perfect example on how schools should be!
