Time: 7:50 am.

Elle

"Ok girls, get on the bus!" Abby yelled and clapped her hands. We all got on the bus. I got on second and sat down by myself close to the back. "Elle, can I sit with you?" Jojo asked. "Uh, yeah," I said and moved my emoji pillow from the seat. What? It's a one hour drive to the airport, then a five hour flight from LAX to New York. I need sleep!

Jojo sat down and shoved her dance bag under the seat. Then she took out EarPods and her Mac Book Air and opened her movie app. "Wanna watch The Angry Birds Movie with me?" She asked. I nodded. "Sure!" I said and she handed me an EarPod.

        Before I knew it, I had fallen asleep. Jojo's EarPod fell from my ear and my head fell to the side, ironically landing in my emoji pillow. I was only asleep for 20 minutes, but it felt like hours. Then I started to drift into a dream...

           "Elle, come on!" Kendall shouted. I giggled and ran over. Then Jojo jumped out and pushed me into the mud. They all laughed, and then Abby came out. "Girls, what is wrong with you?!" She asked angrily. They stopped laughing. "You're doing it wrong!" She said. Then Abby grabbed some mud and put in on top of my head and shoved it down my shirt. They all started to laugh and I screamed. "Why did you do that?!" I asked, hurt. "Because you're a nothing, and that's all you'll ever be...be...be...be......."

"Elle!" I heard. Someone shook me. I groaned and opened my eyes a little. It was Jojo. "Elle, wake up! We're at the airport!" She said. I groaned, remembering my dream. "Just a dream, it is not true..." "Huh?" Jojo said. "What?" I asked. The airport!" Jojo said. "What, already? How long have I been asleep?" I asked. Jojo shrugged. "Only like, 20 minutes. C'mon!" She said. She pulled my wrist. I managed to grab my emoji pillow just in time before Jojo pulled me off the bus. We walked and walked and walked and of course, we walked some more. Finally, we reached the point where we would sit and wait for the plane. Abby went to the counter and talked to the dude and filled out paper work, while the moms and Gianna stayed and watched us. I sat down in between Jojo and Mackenzie. I had just about fallen asleep on Mackenzie's shoulder when...

"Elle!" I heard my name and jerked awake. "You weren't gonna sleep, we you?" Jojo asked, poking my shoulder. I nodded. "Yes, I was actually." "How can you sleep at a time like this? We're on our way to a competition! Your first competition!" Mackenzie said. "Uh, I don't know how I could fall asleep, Kenz. I'm a sleep deprived teenager who is about to board a five hour flight to New York. I need sleep!" I said. "You'll be fine!" Jojo said and Kenzie nodded in agreement. "No I won't! I need energy for the competition!" I said. Mackenzie and Jojo we quiet. "You know Jojo, she burned you," Kenzie stated flatly. "What? No! How is that a burn?!" Jojo asked. Mackenzie shrugged. "I don't know, it just was," she said. "Was not!" "Was too!" "Uh-uh!" "Yea-huh!" "Uh-uh!" "Yea-" I interrupted them. "Guys it doesn't matter." "True..." Jojo said. Kenzie shrugged. "Yeah it does. It's the biggest deal in the world!" She states sarcastically. "Whatever..." I said. "Kidding!" She said. "Haha, Kenzie! So funny I forgot to laugh!" Jojo said in response to Mackenzie's sarcasm. Mackenzie jokingly rolled her eyes. "Girls, moms, let's go!" Abby called. "Ugh already? But I was just getting comfortable!" I said. We got up and followed Abby to the plane.

When we got on, there were tons of people. Obviously, right?! We sat down in our seat numbers that our tickets said. I was next to Nia. We talked for a little, then I fell asleep. Five long hours of a plane ride. Five. Long. Hours. Then we landed.

Since we were a little early, Gia took us out for fro-yo. "Yay!" We all cheered as we pulled into a Yogurt Land. When we got inside, I got the Strawberry frozen yogurt with chocolate syrup, gummy bears, sprinkles, chocolate chips, raspberries, blueberries, brownie bites, whipped cream, and a cherry to top it off. What? I love my yogurt! Gia payed for our food and we sat down, taking up four of their small tables. I sat at a table for four with Brynn, Jojo, and Mackenzie. Nia, Kendall, Maddie, and Kalani sat at the other table. The moms, Gia, and Abby took up the other two tables. After we finished eating, we threw away our empty cups and left. Kenzie and Brynn put their arms over my shoulders. I did the same and smiled. Maybe this wouldn't be so bad.
