Hello, I'm Izuku Midoriya. I got into U.A. by a lottery, which makes me the Ultimate Good Luck. To say that I'm nervous would be a understatement. I've always admired U.A., and it's been my dream to get in and have an real, Ultimate talent.

Taking a deep breath, I approach the school. The kids around me don't even hesitate to walk on campus through the gates. Of course they wouldn't, they're real Ultimates. Okay, I got this. I step into the gates of U.A. High and suddenly..

I get dizzy, and everything fades away to pitch black.

PROLOGUE: Taking The First Step

I wake up in a classroom, my memories foggy. I take a glance around at my surroundings. The windows are boarded up and they have screws. I walk over and tap on it, then I try to unscrew it. Ouch!! "I-It's real!!"

Hands in pain, I walk around the classroom again until a note on the podium catches my attention. Go to the gym at 8am sharp? I checked the clock and it's about ten minutes after 8am.

Gulping, I head out to explore and find the gym in this unfamiliar area. Someone taps on my shoulder, and I turn around in response.

A girl? "Um, are you going to the gym, too?" She holds her hands behind her back, as she questions me. I stare for a few seconds before I answer.

"Ah- sorry! Yes!"

"Great, me too. I'm Ochaco Uraraka, the Ultimate Astronaut! It's nice to meet you," She starts walking away and I quickly follow. I-I'm talking to a girl!! "What's your name?"

OCHACO URARAKA - ULTIMATE ASTRONAUT

I wonder how she got to be an astronaut. I thought only people who graduated college could be an astronaut?

"I'm Izuku Midoriya, and I'm—" I stop mid sentence. "What is my Ultimate talent?"

IZUKU MIDORIYA - ULTIMATE ???

"You mean you don't remember?"

I shake my head. "No.."

"That's okay, you have to remember your talent right now," Uraraka declares and opens a set of double doors. Inside is the gym, and I marvel at how big it is before walking in with her. There's a crowd of people.

"Deku, what the fuck are you doing here?" Now that's a voice I recognized.

"Kacchan! You're here, too?"

KATSUKI BAKUGOU - ULITMATE EXPLOSIVES EXPERT

"Don't talk to me, loser."

"The note specifically said to arrive at 8am! You are late!" A tall guy with blue hair made odd hand motions, like he was chopping the air. His glasses glinted in the gym's lights.

TENYA IIDA - ULTIMATE CLASS PRESIDENT

"Cool down, dude, what's the point of getting angry in this awful place?" A pink haired girl placed a hand on her hip, smiling from ear to ear. "Besides, they must've had a reason for bringing us here! Maybe they're having a dancing competition."

ASHIDO MINA - ULTIMATE BREAKDANCER

"Really? Ultimates here for a dancing competition? Doubtful, kero," a green haired girl spoke up, suspicion in her voice. "If I had to guess, they probably just want us for ransom."

TSUYU ASUI - ULTIMATE HERPETOLOGIST

A guy with a bird mask nodded his head in agreement. "However, it is quite strange that there is no sign of the criminals. Are they waiting for something? And why are we in a school?

TOKOYAMI FUMIKAGE - ULTIMATE BIRDWATCHER

Suddenly, a white and black bear jumped up and landed on the podium. Startled, I almost screamed. "Great, it's a fucking stuffed bear," Bakugou growled. "LET US OUT OR I'LL BLOW UP THE WHOLE ENTIRE SCHOOL!"

"Now that everyone is here.. I am Monokuma, the headmaster of this academy!" After creepily laughing and ignoring Bakugou, the bear started to explain why we were all here. "You're going to stay here forever!"

"Impossible! We're gonna get outta here whether you like it or not!" Ashido growled, her hands curled into fists at her side.

"Oh? The only way to get out is old fashioned murder. Yep, that's right! I'm letting you get away with murder in a killing game! Upuhuhu!"

"We would never do that!"

"Then I guess you're staying here forever," the bear grinned, sending a chill down my spine. He jumped off the podium with a flip and landed safely on both feet on the shiny gym floor. "Have fun!~"

Monokuma began to walk towards the gym doors, and the others stepped away to make a path for him. The bear seemed to be enjoying himself too much. A redhead stepped in front of him and Monokuma looked up curiously.

KIRISHIMA EIJIROU - ULTIMATE BODYGUARD

"Hold it right there, Monokuma! We will not participate in this 'killing game'!" Kirishima picked up Monokuma in anger. "Let us out!"

"Uh oh, it states in the rules that no harm must come to the headmaster." Monokuma started to beep. Why is he beeping?

"SHITTY HAIR THROW HIM!" Bakugou shouted, causing Kirishima to look at him. "JUST DO IT!"

Obeying Bakugou, Kirishima threw him towards the lights. Monokuma exploded. "Woah, thanks man!" Kirishima thanked Bakugou but Bakugou just gave him the cold shoulder.

"Does that mean we can go?" Uraraka questioned, standing by me. I didn't answer, because Monokuma popped up again on the podium.

"Aah! He's back!" I accidentally shouted, pointing directly at Monokuma. Everyone turned to see where I was pointing.

"Oh, the bear is back," a guy with blonde hair with a French accent stated.

AOYAMA YUGA - ULTIMATE FASHIONISTA

"I forgot to mention a few things! Nighttime is at 10pm and morning is at 8am.." After some more explaining of how the killing game and living here will work, Monokuma left, leaving a stunned silence.

"It's really happening.." A voice came from a floating uniform. Ashido walked over to them sympathetically patted their back.

TOORU HAGAKURE - ULTIMATE ILLUSIONIST

Another girl with black hair and a fancy floral dress spoke up, "Do not lose hope, everyone! We will make it out of here!"

MOMO YAOYOROZU - ULTIMATE ALCHEMIST

A purple haired short boy snickered to himself, muttering to the boy next to him. The boy next to him with blonde hair responded quietly. I couldn't hear them.

Kirishima checked out the podium to see where Monokuma popped out. He shook his head as he finished. "No luck over here!"

A guy in a some kind of karate outfit and another guy wearing a mask tried to make the shades covering the window break. They shook their heads, too.

MASHIRAO OJIRO - ULTIMATE MARTIAL ARTIST

MEZI SHOJI - ULTIMATE SPY

"Maybe we should give up," a guy I didn't notice spoke up. "We obviously can't get out."

HANTA SERO - ULTIMATE REPAIRMAN

A purple haired girl with headphones around her neck nodded her head in agreement. Momo started to look nervous. "Don't give up hope!.."

KYOKA JIROU - ULTIMATE MUSICIAN

"Deku-kun, we'll definitely get out of here!" I must've looked panicked (which I was), because Uraraka tried to cheer me up. My heart skipped a beat. How thoughtful!

"Y-Yeah.."

"HALF AND HALF BASTARD, WHERE DO YOU THINK YOU'RE GOING?!" Bakugou shouted, his voice echoing in the gym. Everyone turned to look at him (including me) and saw where his anger was pointed at. A guy with two hair colors and a stoic facial expression was trying to leave.

TODOROKI SHOUTO - ULTIMATE HEIR

"I'm going to my dorm. As should all of you," Todoroki's collar was grabbed by Bakugou and he lifted him up in the air.

"Are you saying you don't care if we get out or not?!" The argument continued and I ran over to them to stop it. Before I could get there, Ashido beat me to it.

"Stop it you guys! This isn't a time to be fighting! We still need to check out the rest of the school, so you both can make a deal!" With that said, Bakugou scoffed and dropped Todoroki. Todoroki ended up staying until everyone has been introduced to each other.

"Okay, everyone! Let's meet up in the cafeteria at 8am tomorrow to share information because breakfast and stuff!" Ashido announced. "Now, let's explore and find an exit!"

Some people cheered. Everyone split off either in groups of two, one, or three to try to find the exit. Uraraka, Iida, and I decided to go in a group and explore together. It was actually pretty fun getting to know them.

After exploring the school, we went to the dorm hall. Our rooms had photographs of us on it. Luckily, Iida and Uraraka's rooms were next to mine. Uraraka on the left, and Iida on the right.

"This is a announcement from U.A.! It is now 10pm. Lock your doors, upuhuhu!" Monokuma appeared on one of the TV's to make an announcement before the TV turned off again. Our group went into our respective dorms.

I locked my door, explored my strangely red room with a camera pointed at the bed. I laid on the bed and had a hard time falling asleep that night.
