Calvin kept climbing up the ladder until he reached the roof, spotting the lonely blue gem sitting at the edge of the roof. Calvin walked on the roof towards Lapis, then sitting down next to her. "I said leave me alone" Lapis said bitterly. "I kinda don't want to" Calvin said "you seem... Lonely" . "You wouldn't understand... " Lapis said. "Well I would understand better if you would tell me" Calvin said with a smile. Lapis only rolled her eyes "heh, good luck with that, now just leave me alone" she said. "Alright then... " Calvin said, standing up to leave. He didn't even take five steps before he slipped on a loose roof tile and fell over the edge. Calvin knew he couldn't scream, he was scared, so he closed his eyes and braced for impact. Suddenly he felt something grab his arms, which slowed his fall. Calvin opened his eyes and looked up, right into a pair of sea blue eyes. Lapis was slowly flying Calvin down towards the ground,  he was amazed at the blue gem. Once his feet were safely back on the ground he turned toward Lapis "you can FLY!?!? " he exclaimed. "Umm yea? " Lapis replied. "B-but how?!?" Calvin asked. Lapis just shrugged her shoulders "it's just a part of me". "But it's so..... Unique" Calvin said. Lapis shrugged her shoulders in response again "shouldn't you go lie down or something? " she asked. "U-umm yea, I'll go take a nap then" Calvin said, going back inside. "Unique huh? " Lapis asked herself, slightly blushing at the thought. Shaking her head to clear her thoughts, Lapis flew back up to the roof of the barn, unaware of a thin hooded figure in the distance...
