(The episode starts in the Helghan Cruiser. Master Mind looks below at the city. Radec walks in behind him.)

Radec: Are you ready for our attack?

Master Mind: Yes. After today, phase 1 will be complete.

Radec: Phase 1?

Master Mind: Phase 1 will make us more powerful than ever.

Radec: Explain.

Master Mind: You will see, Colonel. (Beat.) Are the satellites set up?

Radec: Yes, myself and that Dr. Cortex set them both up in their designated areas. The only problem is those who wish to destroy us.

Master Mind: They will be important.

Radec: Why is that?

Master Mind: You will see in due time. (Radec turns to leave.) Any word from Eggman or Wily?

Radec: They haven't contacted us, but the Egg Carrier is still on course.

Master Mind: Good, all that matters is his robots. (Cortex walks in.)

Cortex: Everything is under way, Master Mind. Soon, this world will be ours. (Cortex laughs evilly.)

Master Mind: Did you have any problems?

Cortex: Well, we did have a few mishaps involving some rogues, but overall it went swimmingly.

Master Mind: So you were stopped?

Cortex: Well, I wouldn't exactly say that, but-

Master Mind: Good.

Cortex: Oh, not what I was expecting.

Master Mind: It's time to show this world who we are. (To Cortex.) Hook up the necessary power sources. It is time to begin.

Cotex: Yessir. (Cortex and Radec leave.)

Master Mind: Finally, they'll be right where I want them. I hope they are ready to meet their new leader.
