Levi POV

"Erwin, she doesn't remember what she did."

"I can believe she would tell you that. You're gullible enough to believe it."

"Who are you people?" Carmen mumbled under her breath

"What's that?" Erwin glared at her

"I don't understand what I did! Why do you hate me so much?!" Tears ran down Carmen's face. She ran down the street, her long hair was in a bun, and her grey cloak trailed behind her as she ran.

"Do you believe me now?" I glared at Erwin, who raised his eyebrows in interest. "Hmm." He walked away, and I could tell he was deep in thought.

"Stupid Erwin." I muttered "Now, where is she?" I ran down the little windy town street until I made it to a dead end. Where did she go?

Carmen POV

It wasn't safe here- I knew that from the moment I walked here, but at least it was quiet. I sat on the floor and tears ran down my face. "Everyone hates me. I mean nothing" I heard a voice.

"You think you mean nothing, huh?" It was gravely, as if the person who had just talked to me had been gargling oil. "You want to prove that theory?" The voice came from everywhere at once.

"W-what do you mean?" I gasped. Three hooded figures emerged from the darkness, all around me. One had a white hood, one had a grey hood, and one had a black hood. Only the grey hooded one spoke. They had an old pague doctor's mask on, and it had been cracked near the eyes.

"I am the Doctor." It strode closer. "This is Raven" it gestured toward the black cloak "and this is Dove." The person in the white cloak seemed amused. "We're not gonna hurt you. Raven, Dove." Black and white flew out from under the cloaks. The wings blocked the way out of the alley. The Doctor's hands reached out to touch me. "Don't you see- we are just like you. We are abnormals, like you. But that's enough talk."

He grabbed my arm, and then pressed a cloth into my face.

"Mph!" I tried to get it out, but I was feeling woozy. I slumped to the floor, and watched the doctor tie me up. A tail slithered out from under his cloak, and he called to his feathery bodyguards. He grabbed me with his tail, and we were hoisted into the air.

"I can fix you, my child." Then I closed my eyes.

I had searched all day, but I coudn't find her. Where on earth could she go?
