Chapter 5: Festival
P.O.V. Third
King sighed as he looked at the several sheets of paper in front of him. King had finally become old enough to start fulfilling his princely duty's and at the moment he was starting to learn about the paperwork that went with it. As King looked over the sheets of paper he stopped for a moment to look up at Xiantao, who at the moment was watching him to ensure he didn't attempt to sneak out once again.
"Hey Xian, I have a question," King said as he looked at the male in front of him. When he said this the male looked at him. "Why don't we have a festival like all the other kingdoms do?" King asked as he looked at the male in front of him.
"I . . . I don't understand," Xiantao said as he looked at the young male in front of him.
"Well, most placed have a festival or holiday to celebrate something. Like a great accomplishment that was achieved, or the day that they founded their country. Why don't we have something like that?" King asked as he looked at the male in front of him.
"I guess the subject has just never come up before?" Xiantao said as he looked at the male in front of him.
"Really? Out of the twenty-one thousand rulers that came before me, none of them thought to make a holiday to celebrate something?" King asked as he looked at the male in front of him. "Well then make one," King said as he looked at the male in front of him.
"Are you sure that's wise my prince?" Xiantao asked as he looked at the young male in front of him.
"Yeah, why not? After all, the festival's are always good for improving morale. Not only that but it'll give a reason to celebrate and be happy for a week," King said as he looked at the male in front of him. Xiantao nodded hearing this and looked at the male in front of him.
"In that case, I'll be back with the paperwork momentarily," Xiantao said as he walked out of the room. King sighed hearing this and looked down at the small amount of paperwork that he had just completed. He was happy that they were starting him off small with Xiantao handpicking which papers he saw so that he didn't feel too overwhelmed by what was happening.
As King continued King heard a slight knocking on the door and looked up hearing this. "Come in," King said as he looked at the door. When he said this the door slowly opened and Ember peaked into the room.
"Hi," Ember said a bit shyly as she walked into the room. King smiled seeing the female and looked at her. Ever since the disaster that had befallen her she had begun to live with King. However this did backfire a small bit as many of the citizens now believed that the two had become engaged, and while King liked the female he wasn't ready for something like that.
As Ember slowly walked towards King, he noticed that she was hiding something behind her back for some reason. "So what are you doing?" Ember asked as she walked up to the desk that was in front of him.
"Just doing some paperwork, most of it's pretty easy," King said as he looked at the female in front of him. Ember smiled and bit her lip a bit nervous.
"I uh . . . I made you something, b-but you have to close your eyes!" Ember said as she looked at the male in front of her. King nodded hearing this and closed his eyes as he began to wait patiently for Ember to tell him to open his eyes.
As he did Ember placed a small box on the desk in front of him opening it. "O-okay, you can open your eyes," Ember said as she looked at King. When she did King opened his eyes and looked around and spotted the small meal that Ember had made for him.
"You made me cookies?" King asked as he looked at the small treats in front of him, and Ember nodded.
"Y-yeah," Ember said her face heating up as she looked at the male in front of her.
"What kind are they?" King asked as he picked one up.
"Th-they're chocolate chip," Ember said as she looked at the male in front of her.
"I love chocolate!" King said eagerly as he opened his mouth and happily took a bite. Ember bit her lip in slight anticipation as she looked at the male in front of her.
"So? What do you think?" Ember asked as she looked at the male in front of her.
"They're great!" King said as he looked at Ember. When he said this Ember's face lit up and she looked at the male in front of her.
"You really think so!?" Ember asked clearly excited about the idea of being praised by King.
"Yeah, these are delicious," King said as he took another one. "Aren't you going to eat any?" King asked as he looked at the female causing her to shake her head hearing this.
"No, I made them for you, so I want you to eat them," Ember said as she looked at the male in front of her. King nodded hearing this and smiled as he continued to happily eat the food the Ember had made for him. Ember smiled hearing this and walked to the other side of King's desk and laid her head on the desk looking at the male in front of her. "I also wanted to thank you for letting me live here," Ember said as she looked at the male in front of her.
"Of course!" King said with a smile as he looked at the female in front of him. "I couldn't just let my best friend live on the street's after all," King said with a kind smile causing Ember to smile at the gesture. However, before either could say anything the door opened and Xiantao walked into the room with a small stack of paperwork.
"Here you are my prince," Xiantao said as he placed the several sheets of paper in front of him. When he did Ember looked at the sheets and then looked up at Xiantao.
"What's that?" Ember asked as she looked at the male in front of her.
"Our prince wants to start a yearly festival, however before he can do so he must fill out those papers presenting reasoning for doing so," Xiantao explained as he looked at the young female in front of him.
"Oh," Ember said as she turned to look at the male in front of her. "What's it going to be named?" Ember asked as she looked at the male in front of her when she asked this King tensed up and looked at the female in front of him.
"I . . . I don't know," King said as he looked at the female in front of him. He had already thought of several different details for the festival however one of the more important details he had overlooked was what the name of it would be.
"Oh, I know! Let's call it the moonlight festival!" Ember said as she looked at the male in front of her. When she said this King and Xiantao both turned to look at her.
"The moonlight festival?" Xiantao repeated as he looked at the young figure in front of him causing her to nod eagerly.
"Yeah, remember you told me that story last week about the royal family. You said something about them meeting under the moonlight and starting Trigelph after that. Plus, it's almost that time of year where the moon does that thing!" Ember said as she looked at the male in front of her. Xiantao was a bit confused hearing this until he realized what she was talking about and nodded.
"I guess, it is almost time for the lunar dust to start falling," Xiantao said as he looked at the two in front of him.
"The moonlight festival it is!" King said as he began to fill out the paperwork for the festival. Ember smiled hearing this and began to prance in place clearly excited about the idea.
"I can't wait! Oh! I wonder if Eclipse would help me pick out a new dress for it!" Ember said as she began to make her way towards the exit. When she did King smiled and continued to fill out the paperwork for the festival. Xiantao sighed hearing this and was about to walk out of the room only to stop when he heard King call out for him.
"Xian, when do you think the most lunar dust will fall from the sky?" King asked as he looked at the male in front of him. When he said this Xiantao thought about the idea. He had never taken any particular notice in the dust that came from the moon. After all, it was just dust, and debris from where the moon had been shattered it wasn't anything special it happened all the time.
"I wouldn't know, however, I believe the best time would most likely be in the middle of next month," Xiantao said as he looked at the male in front of him. King nodded hearing this and continued to write before stopping for a moment and once again looking up at Xiantao.
"Xian, do you think you could gather some people so that you could collect some of the lunar dust that falls from the sky?" King asked as he looked at the male in front of him. Xiantao was a bit confused hearing this but nodded nonetheless.
"Yes, but may I ask why my prince?" Xiantao asked as he looked at the young male in front of him.
"Oh well that's because I don't think much will fall the last night of the festival," King said as he looked at the male in front of him. Xiantao was once again a bit confused hearing this but nodded nonetheless more or less understanding what King wanted to do.
"I understand my prince, I will gather some people feel are fit for the job," Xiantao said as he looked at the male in front of him. When he said this King stopped what he was doing and turned to look at Xiantao.
"Fit for the job?" King asked as he looked at the male causing him to nod. King was even more confused by this and was about to speak but stopped himself and turned to look at the papers in front of him. He didn't understand what Xiantao meant by being fit for the job. After all, they were just gathering dust, it couldn't have been that hard right?" King asked as he looked at the male in front of him.
However, after nearly a month passed King smiled as he looked at the streets from his balcony. He could see several different people gathering in the streets preparing for the festival. He was a bit surprised that so many people had been willing to celebrate this newfound occasion with him especially since he thought many of them would be opposed to the idea. However, it seemed as if the majority of the kingdom was excited about the idea of a festival.
As King looked down at the citizens beneath him King heard the door to his room open and turned to look at who was entering the room. When he did King saw Ember looking at him. "Hey King," Ember said with a smile as she walked up to the male. "So what are you doing?" Ember asked as she looked at the male in front of him.
"I'm looking at the city," King said as he looked at the several buildings in front of him. Ember smiled and nodded hearing this and she slowly walked up to the male.
"I talked to a few of my friends and they all said they were excited about it," Ember said as she looked at the male causing him to nod. "A week-long festival, I can't wait! It's so exciting to think about what's going to happen!" Ember said as she looked at the city in front of her. It was relatively dark however despite that fact several people could still be seen occupying the streets.
"Yeah," King said as he looked at the streets before his face heated up slightly turning a slight shade of red as it did. "Hey Ember, listen," King said as he turned to look at the female in front of him. "The last day of the festival is meant to be kind of romantic," King began as he turned to look at the orange haired female beside him. "And everyone already thinks we're dating anyway. Sooo . . . what do you say? Want to go to the festival with me?" King asked clearly nervous about what he was saying.
Ember's face heated up hearing this and she stared blankly at the male in front of her for a few minutes. "I'd love to!" Ember said excitedly as she reached forward to hug the male. "Oh, no now I'll have to get a different dress for our date," Ember said as she began to pace back and forth beginning to panic slightly.
"I remember, you saying something about a dance in one of the buildings, so now I'll have to get a new dress for that. Maybe I can wear the one I have every other day of the festival and just wear the new one for our date," Ember said as she looked at the male in front of her. King smiled slightly hearing this as he looked at the female in front of her and how panicked she seemed to be about the subject.
"I know! I'll ask Eclipse!" Ember said as she began to run out of the room clearly excited. King smiled seeing her reaction and looked at the city as he thought about what he had just done. He then reached up to place his hand over his heart in an attempt to calm himself. While he had tried to stay calm while asking her his heart had been beating incredibly fast, even now after he had asked her and she had answered him King's heart was still racing in his chest.
After nearly a week had passed King found himself in front of the gate to his palace. This had been the area that King had been meeting Ember. However, since today was the day of their date King found himself being a bit more nervous than the days before. She had been wearing a pink dress over the past few days and King thought she looked rather cute in it, and while he knew she planned on wearing a different dress today he was hoping she looked just as nice in it.
"King!" Ember called out as she walked out of the large building, when she did King turned to look at the female in front of him and found himself blushing at the sight. Ember was now wearing a white dress with the top half hugging her frame tightly and the bottom half being rather frilly and loose. She also had two stockings on and a long ribbon that hung from the back of the lace on her dress, as well as a small white, rose in her hair.
Ember smiled as she looked at the male in front of her as she turned in front of him to show off her dress. "What do you think?" Ember asked as she looked at the male. King with a still red face looked away clearly embarrassed.
"Y-you look nice," King said embarrassed as he looked at the male in front of him. "R-ready?" King asked as he offered his arm to Ember. When he said this Ember smiled and nodded as she locked arms with him and the two began to walk down the streets together. As they did Ember smiled and began to walk towards two figures. One of which King recognized as Javon, the other however was unfamiliar to King.
He seemed to be a bit younger than him and Ember, around Javon's age. He had short cotton candy pink hair and purple eyes that seemed to glow for some reason. "Hey, Koko it's been a while," Ember said as she looked at the male in front of her.
"Hey," Ko said as he looked at the female in front of him. "Who's this?" Ko asked as he gestured to King.
"That's King, her boyfriend," Javon said as he looked at the male in front of him. "He's not her boyfriend, yes he is, no he's not, yes he is," Javon said as he began to argue with himself. While it's true that Javon had been saved that fateful day, it seemed as if the damage the cultists had done was far worse than they had originally thought. Javon had developed split personalities since that day, both of which called themselves Javon, and both of which hated each other.
"H-he's not my boyfriend," Ember said as she looked at the two in front of her.
"Ha, told you!" Javon said with a triumphant smirk.
"Or at least, he's not my boyfriend yet," Ember said with a slight smirk as she looked up at King as she continued to cling to his arm. King's face heated up hearing this and Ember smiled as she saw a large gazebo where everyone was dancing. She then grabbed King's arm and began to drag him towards the building. When she did Ember stopped and turned to look at him, King smiled slightly seeing this and offered his hand to her.
Ember smiled slightly seeing this but didn't take it, which only confused King. "What's wrong? Don't you want to dance?" King asked as he looked at the female in front of him, causing Ember to nod.
"Of course I do, it's just-" Ember began as she looked down a bit embarrassed by what she was about to say. "I-I don't know how to dance," Ember said as she looked down. King smiled hearing this and nodded.
"That's okay, I'll teach you," King said as he looked at her.
"R-really," Ember asked as she looked at the male in front of her causing King to nod. When he did Ember smiled and took the hand that King was offering her. "O-okay, then where do we start?" Ember asked as she looked at the male in front of her. King smiled hearing this and gently wrapped his fingers around her hand.
"Well first you need to move closer," King said as he looked at the female in front of him. Ember nodded hearing this and King reached for her other hand and placed it on his shoulder as he reached for her waist. "Don't worry, we'll start easy," King said as he looked at the female in front of him. Ember nodded hearing this and King took a few steps as he looked at her turning slightly as he did.
"One, two, three, and repeat," King said as he looked at the female in front of him. Ember nodded and repeated the motion as King continued to dance with her. "See, this isn't that hard," King said with a smile as he looked at the female in front of him. Ember nodded hearing this and continued to slowly dance with King.
"When did you learn to do this?" Ember asked as she looked at the male in front of her.
"One of the daily lessons I have to take is a dance class. So I've been dancing for as long as I can remember," King said as he looked at the female in front of him.
"Really?" Ember asked before chuckling slightly. "That's kind of lame," Ember said as she looked at the male in front of him.
"Yeah, but it's all right, the teacher is nice. They wanted me to learn just in case . . . well just in case something like this happened," King said as he looked at the female in front of him. Ember chuckled a bit embarrassed hearing this and continued to dance with the female. The two found themselves enjoying what they were doing so much that they eventually lost track of time. However, after several hours had passed Ember smiled and looked at the male in front of her.
"Hey King," Ember began as she looked at the male in front of her. "Do you think Xiantao would mind if Javon and Koko spent the night at the palace?" Ember asked as she looked at the male in front of her.
"I don't think so, but we should still ask just to be safe," King said as he looked at the female in front of him. Ember nodded hearing this and stopped dancing as a low rumble came from her stomach. Ember chuckled a bit embarrassed hearing this and King smiled as he looked at her. "Let's go get something to eat," King said as he looked at the female in front of him. Ember nodded hearing this and the two walked away from the gazebo.
"I'm going to call Xian, I'll be back in a minute," Ember said as she walked away taking out her scroll and searching for Xiantao's number. As she did King looked around and noticed one of the stores was selling some things. As he looked at the store he noticed a small box of chocolates and thinking about the few occasions that Ember had gone out of her way to make him something to eat.
King then walked up to the small stand and purchased a box of the chocolates. King bit his lip at the idea of what he was about to do and looked up at Ember who was still talking. "All right, thank you," Ember said with a smile as she ended the call and turned to look for King.
"Hey Emma," King began as he walked up to the female in front of him. He seemed to be holding something behind his back for some reason. "I-I think it's about that time. Y-you know, where couples show each other their appreciation and stuff. So umm . . . here. These are for you," King said as he held out his hand giving the female in front of him a small box of chocolates.
The box was pink and shaped like a heart, a bow that had been wrapped over it. "Before you get too excited, you should know that they're only the store-bought kind. It's not like I'm any good with a stove, so I figured you'd prefer this instead of whatever melted mess I could make on my own," King said as he looked at the female in front of him. Whenever he said this Ember blushed lightly and took the box from him.
"Silly King," Ember said as she looked at the box. "I would have eaten them no matter what," Ember said as she looked at the male in front of her causing King's face to heat up.
"Huh? You'd eat them no matter what? Nnnng, stop trying to tease me," King said his face a deep shade of red at this point. "I've already done more than I usually prefer by buying this, and I feel super awkward just standing here. So are you going to accept these or not?" King asked as he looked at the female in front of him, it was evident how embarrassed he was since he was starting to become a bit more frustrated than usual.
"I don't know, that doesn't sound very sincere to me," Ember teased as she looked at the male-only causing King's face to become an even brighter red.
"Look, if you were expecting fanfare from me about how great you are, then I don't think I can help. I'll probably just end up saying something cliché like "thanks for you're hard work," or "I'm happy you're by my side." You know how important you are to me, so just the box if you want it. Otherwise, I'm going to keep these chocolates for myself, and eat them before you can change your mind," King said as he looked at the female in front of him.
Ember smiled hearing this, as calm and composed as King was most of the time she did think it was rather cute that at times he could become a blushing mess like he was at the moment. King then looked away, still holding an obvious embarrassment as he did.
"However, if I'm being honest, I would rather you take them. Because . . . I think . . . maybe you deserve a reward now and then. Sometimes. What I'm trying to say is . . . well . . . happy Moonlight Festival, Emma. Let's continue to stay together," King said as he looked at the female in front of him. Ember smiled hearing and took the chocolates as she looked at the male.
"Didn't you say you had something special you wanted to show me?" Ember asked as she as she looked at the male in front of her. King seemed a bit confused hearing and before he remembered what she was talking about.
"Oh yeah, come on follow me," King said as he looked at the female grabbing her hand and beginning to run down the streets with her. As he did Ember smiled and began to follow the male to a small bench in the middle of a slightly isolated location. King then sat down on the bench and patted the seat next to him. When he did Ember smiled and began to sit next to him. When he did Ember saw that he was looking at the sky and began to look up with him.
As she looked up Ember opened the box of chocolates that King had gotten her and began to eat some of them. As she did Ember began to hear several people counting down. She was a bit confused as to why and saw that King was still looking at the sky. A bit nervous about what was happening Ember began to look to the sky and reach for King's hand as she did. When her hand landed on his King once again turned his hand over so that Ember could hold his hand.
"Three, two, one!" The crowd cheers and a few moments later lunar dust began to fall from the sky causing several sparkles and glimmers of light of all different colors to light up the night sky. Ember gasped as she saw the sight and looked around at the beautiful sight.
"It's really pretty isn't it?" King asked as he looked at the female beside him. Ember nodded hearing this and reached for one of the small chocolates she had left and stopped herself just before eating it.
"Do you want one?" Ember asked as she looked at the male in front of her. King nodded hearing this and Ember smiled as a small blush formed on her face. "Close your eyes," Ember said as she looked at the male. King did as told and closed his eyes and Ember smiled. "Now, say ahhh," Ember said as she stuck out her tongue placing the chocolate on her tongue and slowly leaning towards King.
"Ahh," King said as he ke[t his eyes shut waiting for Ember to feed him the piece of chocolate. Ember then connected their lips together and King felt his face heat up as he looked down at the female in front of him. He was so shocked by her action that it took King a few moments to realize that she had pushed something into his mouth with her tongue. However, once he realized this he recognized the flavor as chocolate.
King then slowly relaxed into the kiss letting the sweet treat slowly melt between their tongues. After nearly a minute had passed the two finally broke the kiss both of their faces stained red, both from the lack of oxygen and from how embarrassed they were. "H-how was it?" Ember asked as she looked at her box her face now a bright red.
"I-it was good, c-can I have another?" King asked as he looked at the female in front of him. Ember nodded and reached for another piece of chocolate however as soon as she touched one King spoke up. "I wasn't talking about the ch-chocolate," King said as he looked at the female. Ember felt her face heat up hearing this and slowly looked up at the male. The two stared at each other awkwardly for a few moments before the two slowly began to lean towards each other.
Their lips then slowly connected and King instinctively reached up to cup one of Ember's cheeks as they did. It was obvious that neither of them really knew what they were doing, but they were trying their best. When the two once again separated they looked at each other awkwardly both blushing as they. "L-let's go back," Ember said as she stood up holding King's hand. King nodded hearing this and the two began to walk back to the palace together.
As they did the two walked in complete silence. Ember feeling too awkward to say anything and King not saying anything because he thought he had upset Ember. The two continued until they arrived in front of Ember's room. "I had a great time," King said as he looked at the female in front of him. When he said this Ember looked at the ground her face stained red with a slightly embarrassed smile.
"Yeah, me too," Ember said as she looked at the ground. "Hey King, c-can we . . . k-kiss again?" Ember asked as she looked up shyly at the male. When she asked this King's face turned a bright red and King leaned forward. When he did Ember smiled and slowly leaned forward for the two to once again kiss. As they did Ember felt her knees get weak and she moved a hand back to her door and opened it.
When she did the two fell back into the room with King catching Ember before she fell struggling to lift her due to the weak state of his body. King carried her over to her bed and placed her on it. King smiled as he looked down at her with Ember returning his smiled. King stood up and looked as if he was about to walk away. However, before he could Ember grabbed his wrist and pulled him on top of her.
As she did King felt his face heat up as he looked at the female beneath him. "Um, Eclipse said that some of her fondest memories were when she was becoming intimate with someone. I think she only told me that because she didn't think I knew what she was talking about, but still," Ember began as her face slowly turned red. "Sooo, I was thinking, if you wanted to make some memories . . . n-now. I'd be willing," Ember said as she looked at the male in front of her.
King nodded hearing this and leaned down to gently kiss Ember. When he did Ember wrapped her arms around the male's neck and held him close. As he did Ember smiled into the kiss slightly and when the two stopped Ember smiled and held King close to her.
"King, you're bullying me," Ember chimed as she looked at the male in front of her. "Teasing me like this, it's just so cruel," Ember said as she looked up at the male in front of her. King smiled slightly hearing this his face still a bright red as he heard what she was saying.
King looked at her with a bright red face. "H-hey Ember," King said as he looked at her. When he said this Ember looked up as she looked at the male in front of her. "Do . . . do you still want to get married?" King asked as he looked down at the female in front of him.
When he asked this Ember's face turned a bright red and she nodded. "I . . . I think I want to marry you too," King said as he looked at her. Ember smiled hearing this and reached up to wrap her arms around King bringing her into a hug.
"Oh, hubby!" Ember said having already adapted to the idea. "Now," Ember said as she looked at the male in front of her. "Now that we're getting married, let's sleep together!" Ember said as she looked at the male in front of her. King nodded hearing this and watched as Ember moved to her side with King moving behind her and wrapping a hand around her waist pulling her close as he did. King then closed his eyes and the two slowly began to drift off to sleep together.
After several hours of sleep, Xiantao walked into the room. He wanted to ask Ember if she had seen King since he wasn't in his room. However, he got his answer when he saw the two snuggling next to one another. Xiantao found himself smiling slightly before he quickly hid it and walked up to the two in front of him, and began to wake them. "My prince, lady Empa it's time for you to awaken," Xiantao said as he looked at the two children in front of him.
When he said this the two began to slowly wake up and looked up at him a bit embarrassed. It looked as if the two were about to speak to explain themselves however before he could Xiantao raised his hand. "I'm sure we'll have time for it later, my prince at the moment you have some business to attend to," Xiantao said as he looked at the male in front of him. King nodded hearing this and stood up from Ember's bed as the two began to get ready for the day.
The two then walked out of their room and Ember began to make her way towards the guest room so that she could talk to Javon, and Ko. However, as she did she saw a familiar figure and smiled as she began to run towards her with a bright smile. "Eclipse!" Ember called out as she looked up at the older female in front of her. Eclipse turned hearing this and smiled seeing the child running towards her. "Eclipse I took your advice!" Ember said as she ran up to the older female in front of her coming to a stop just in front of her. When she said this Eclipse looked at her a bit confused.
"What advice?" Eclipse asked as she leaned down to look at the female.
"I slept with King!" Ember said as she looked at the male in front of her. When she said this Eclipse felt her heart drop and she became a bit paler hearing what she had just said.
"Wh-what?" Eclipse asked as she looked at the male in front of her.
"I took your advice and became intimate with King! We slept together last night!" Ember said as she looked at the male. Eclipse was about to tell her to be a bit quieter since if Xiantao found out she was certain that he would most likely be trying to kill her. "You should have been there! It was so romantic!" Ember said as she turned away with a blushing face acting like the lovestruck girl she was.
"He wrapped his arm around me and held me close all night. He even cracked the door to his balcony so that it was cold and we'd have to snuggle!" Ember said as she looked at the female in front of her. Eclipse was about to cover her mouth however stopped once she analyzed what she had said.
"You slept with King? That's it?" Eclipse asked as she looked at the female in front of her. When she said this Ember looked at her a bit confused.
"What do you mean? What else would we do?" Ember asked as she looked up at the male in front of her. When she asked this Eclipse felt her face heat up and shook her head.
"N-Nothing," Eclipse said as she looked down at the male in front of him. Eclipse then stood up and began to walk away chuckling slightly. As she did Ember looked at her a bit confused before shrugging and beginning to walk down the halls of the palace that she had come to call home. As she did Javon came into sight and he began to walk towards her. Ember smiled seeing this and watched as the male walked towards him.
As he did Javon looked around as if to make sure no one was looking and the leaned over holding a hand up near his mouth as he began to whisper to Ember. "E-Ember, if you're . . . being bullied too much . . . let me know, okay?" Javon said as he looked at the female in front of him. When he said this Ember seemed a bit confused as she looked at the male.
"What are you talking about? I'm not being bullied, Javon," Ember said as she looked at the male in front of her.
"You . . . you don't have to hide it. I always thought King was a nice person, but I heard it! Last night . . . he was in your room . . . saying you were being bullied!" Javon said as he looked at the female in front of him. When he said this Ember looked at him a bit confused.
"Last night?" Ember said as he face broke out into a bright red blush realizing that Javon had heard them.
"No, it's okay! I'm on your side," Javon whispered to the female in front of him. When he said this Ember covered her face to try and hide her embarrassment.
"Y-You're wrong, Javon. That wasn't me being bullied," Ember said trying to explain the situation.
"THAT'S A LIE! You had such a painfully loud voice, I could hear you two from outside your room!" Javon said protesting as he looked at the female in front of him.
