Chapter 0: Prologue

P.O.V. Third

An elderly female with silver hair that glittered like snow and bright vivid purple eyes was currently breathing heavily as she held the hand of one of the nearby nurses. She was breathing heavily and it appeared as if she was very ill. "Come on, mistress you can do it. He's almost out, just one more big push," The nurse said as she held the female's hand.

The female did as she was told and after a few seconds had passed she heard crying in the background and her vision began to fade. "Xian," The female said as she looked to her side to see the figure she was referring to. Her vision was mostly gone now, however, she could still make out the silver hair that belonged to the elderly male, one of her most trusted servants and aides.

Xiantao moved closer to the female seeing this and looked at the female. She was very pale and while the nurses were trying to do everything they could to keep her alive it was obvious that she didn't have much time left. "Closer," The female said in a voice barely above a whisper showing just how far gone she was.

Xiantao held back her tears hearing this and leaned down so that he was much closer to the female. "His name is King, I want you and the others to raise him like he were your own. You, Rain, and Eclipse will lead the kingdom until he comes of age. Please, promise you'll do this," The female said as she looked at the male.

Xiantao clenched his fists hearing how weak the female's voice was. She sounded so hopeless as if she had already accepted her fate. "As you wish Ma'am," Xiantao said trying to keep his composure, however, some of his sadness managed to slip through causing his voice to crack. Xiantao had started working shortly before she was born.

He had watched her grow up and become the woman she was today, and now seeing her so weak and close to death really made Xiantao feel powerless. "Let me see him," The female said as she looked up at the ceiling most of her vision was now completely gone. Hearing this Xiantao turned to the nurse that was currently holding the newborn.

"Bring him here," Xiantao said as he looked at the female.

"Xian I really don't-" The female began as she looked at the male in front of her only to get cut off halfway through.

"This is the queen's final request . . . I would think she's entitled to hold her child at least once before she dies," Xiantao said as he looked at the female.

"But we can't he has a weak aura signature and it's fading fast. If we don't-" The female began as she looked at the male, only for Xiantao to once again cut her off.

"Bring him to her, that's an order. I won't ask again," Xiantao warned as he looked at the female in front of him. When he said this an awkward silence fell upon the room and the nurse began to walk towards the bed that the female was in. The nurse then placed the small child beside the female's head. The child still screaming and crying as she did.

When she did the female turned her head and used what little strength she had left to clear her vision. She didn't care how much strain she put on her body or eyes. She wanted to see what her child looked like. As she focused on the child and her vision cleared she felt it once again become blurry but unlike before this time, it was because a small number of tears had built up in her eyes.

He had pure white hair that seemed to sparkle slightly when the light hit it at certain angles giving it the appearance of snow and bright vivid purple eyes that seemed to be radiating to a small extent. The female slowly reached up to him and placed one arm on the other side of him bringing the small infant so that their faces could touch. The female smiled as she looked at her child. Never before had she been so happy yet so sad at the same time.

The female continued to look at his blurry frame as she felt her life slowly begin to fade. The female then took a breath and began to sing to him. An old lullaby that had been passed down the royal family. When she found out she was pregnant she would often fantasize about singing it to him as he went to sleep. However, since she wasn't going to get that chance she wanted to sing it now while she still could.

"Falling fast asleep, may this little boy find blissful dreams. Among the ash and the flames that light up the night sky. One by one, falling softly. With your silhouette casting Shadows of your lovely face. I watched the sky, as a million dreams are shining. Little dreams, little dreamer. Within the tender night, your purple eyes were trembling," The female began as she looked at her child however as she did the screams began to subside showing that he was enjoying her song.

However, as she continued something that Xiantao found both interesting and rather strange began to happen. His mother's long white hair began to react with his own both beginning to glow brightly, starting a dull light that eventually became something so bright it hurt to look at it. A strange symbol also appeared below the child it seemed to resemble a clock with several gears an interlocking pieces that were all rotating.

"That moment you shinned pure, born anew into this world. Across a million years, time has brought us here. Our prayers burn into the earth, back where they shall return to time. I will never stop this prayer leaving my lips, someone please show this child what love is. Take those tiny hands and leave a kiss," The female said as she took one of her child's hands into hers and kissed it gently. Her breathing was becoming shaky from how much she had just strained herself singing to the child.

As she finished her song their hair had began to subside and the clock that was beneath them faded as she looked at her child. "I love you, so much . . . my precious . . . . . little . . . . . . . King," The female said as she took her final breath.

Xiantao once again clenched his fists and fought back the urges to let his tears flow freely. He'd do so later when he had more time but for now, he had more important matters to attend to. Xiantao looked at the former queen's face to see that her eyes were now lifeless and he reached down to shut them.

However, as he did he noticed something that brought him some comfort. She had died, with a smile on her face, showing that she was at least somewhat content with how she died. Xiantao then looked down at the small child that was still crying and watched as one of the nurses picked him up and walked out of the room with him.

Xiantao, of course, followed the female when she began to walk out of the room. He then watched as the female entered a room and he looked down and began to run a few different tests on him. As Xiantao watched this he couldn't help but think to himself as he looked at the small infant.

'King,' Xiantao thought to himself as he looked at the small male. To most, the name just seemed to be an obvious suggestion behind his title. However, Xiantao knew the reason his mother had named him this. It was because of the meaning behind the name. Xiantao had been so busy with his thoughts that he hadn't noticed that the nurse from before had finished examining the child.

Xiantao then walked up to the female as she continued to write a few things down on a piece of paper. However, before he could say anything a female with short black hair that had a purple streak in it opened the door and rushed to the female's side. "Where is he!" the female said as she looked at the two figures in front of her.

"He's over there," The female said as she pointed to the small male. When she did, Eclipse walked over to the male and looked down at him. He seemed to have calmed down since he was no longer crying. Eclipse seemed to relax seeing the male and sighed as she turned to look at the nurse.

"How is he?" Eclipse asked as she looked at the child.

"From what we can tell he's fine, he's perfectly healthy. I'm not sure what she did but it seemed to work wonders. His aura signature is stronger than before, and his aura pores seemed to have opened more so that he can produce aura at a faster rate." The nurse said as she looked at the two in front of her.

Xiantao chuckled slightly hearing this and turned to look at the female that had just passed. 'It'll never cease to amaze me what that Sioniac blood of theirs can do,' Xiantao thought as he looked at the female before turning his attention back to two female's that were holding the child.

"Is it okay to pick him up?" Eclipse asked as she looked at the child. The nurse nodded hearing this and Eclipse smiled before she reached down to pick up the small infant. When she did she walked over to Xiantao and looked at him. "So what do you think we should do?" Eclipse asked as she looked at the male.

When she asked this Xiantao looked at her and sighed. "Before, Zenza died, she gave us one last order. She wanted us to take care of King, as well as rule the kingdom until he came of age," Xiantao said as he looked at the female.

Eclipse looked at the male a bit confused hearing this. "All of us? As in-" Eclipse began only for Xiantao to cut her off.

"Me, you, and Rain," Xiantao said as he looked at the figure in front of him. Eclipse seemed a bit shocked hearing this but nodded nonetheless.

Eclipse was, of course, shocked to hear this and looked down and said the only thing she knew to say in this situation. "I see," Eclipse said as she looked at the small child that she was currently holding. "So we're going to raise him?" Eclipse asked as she looked at Xiantao.

"Yes," Xiantao said plainly as he looked at the female. "We should probably tell Rain," Xiantao said as he looked at the female.

"No need," A new voice said from across the room. When the two turned they saw a male with blue eyes and long purple hair looking at them. "I arrived shortly after Eclipse," Rain said as he looked at the male in front of him. Xiantao nodded hearing this and began to walk out of the room.

"Should we talk to him?" Eclipse asked as she looked at Rain.

"No, I think he just needs some time. After all, he was closer to Zenza than any of us. I think he'll be fine once he's had enough time to mourn properly," Rain said as he looked at the door that Xiantao had walked out of. Eclipse nodded hearing this and looked down at the baby that she was holding.

"He has his mom's eyes," Eclipse said as she looked at the child. Rain smiled slightly as he walked over to the child. When he did he saw that like Eclipse had said he did have eyes that resembled his mother's.

Over the years King had grown to be a healthy child with a lean and muscular physique. As he had grown so did his people's appreciation for him. It may have been due to the three that watched over him as he grew, however, one fact was certain, he seemed to have an aptitude for ruling that was superior to most others. At the moment King was walking down the halls of the palace he had come to call home, making his way to the training room, singing happily as he did.

"Falling fast asleep, may this little boy find blissful dreams. Among the ash and the flames that light up the night sky, one by one falling softly. With your silhouette casting shadows of your lovely face. I watched the sky, as a million dreams are shining. Little dreams, little dreamer. Within the tender night, your silver eyes were trembling. That moment you shinned pure born anew into this world. Across a million years, time has brought us here. Our prayers burn into the earth, back where they shall return to time," King said as he continued down the halls of the building.

"I will never stop this prayer leaving my lips, someone please show this child what love is. Take those tiny hands and leave a kiss," King said happily as he turned the corner and accidentally ran into a female. She appeared to be one of the maids that worked in the palace. She had been carrying a large box with supplies and the sudden impact had forced her to lose her balance. When she looked down to see who had run into her she felt her heart drop seeing the prince rubbing his head.

She immediately assumed the worst being that he was going to fire her for being some clumsy with supplies and for hurting him as well. "I-I'm sorry," King said as he stood up and began to help gather the supplies. However, something she noticed was that King sounded a bit nervous about the incident. "P-please don't tell Xiantao," King said as he began to try and put some of the supplies back into the box. "He scalds me when he finds out that I'm being careless," King said he looked at the female.

"You're not mad?" She asked as she looked at him a bit surprised.

"Mad? Why would I be mad?" King questioned as he continued to help put the supplies away. "Actually I guess I am a bit mad at myself. That's the third time this week that's happened," King said as he looked at the box in front of him. As he did he noticed that most of what had fallen out seemed to be various different types of novelty items.

"Where are you taking these?" King asked as he looked up at the female.

"I'm taking them to the décor room," She said as she reached down to pick up the box. King nodded hearing this and watched as she was about to walk away.

"You're going the wrong way," King said as he looked at the female. When he said this she stopped and turned to look at him. "If you go down that hall you'll wind up in the kitchen," King said with a slight chuckle. When he said this the female felt a bit embarrassed as she looked at the mistake she had made.

"S-sorry," The female apologized as she looked at the male in front of her. "I just started yesterday, so I'm still trying to learn the layout of the building," The female explained as she looked at King. The child nodded hearing this and looked up at her.

"That's okay, follow me and I'll show you where it is," King said as he looked up at the female in front of him.

"You know you're fairly well mannered for someone as young as you," The female said as she looked at King. When she said this King smiled brightly and looked up at her.

"I try to be, I don't like it when others don't like me. It hurts my feelings, and Eclipse says that's not good. But enough of that, how are you doing today?" King said as he looked up at the female. She smiled slightly hearing this and looked at him. She didn't really want to bother the male with her problems, but at the same time, it was nice that he asked. Plus he was just a kid so it's not like he was going to tell anyone right?

"I'm okay, although I am a bit hungry since I forgot my lunch at home. I accidentally overslept and didn't realize I had forgotten it until I was here," The female said as she looked at the child.

"Oh, well that's not good," King said as he looked at the female in front of him. The two then came to a stop in front of a room. "Well this is the décor room, I'd like to stay and talk some more but I need to go," King said as he looked at the female in front of him. She nodded hearing this and King began to walk away a bit happier. He then remembered where he had been walking before he had met her and began to make his way down the halls a bit faster.

When he arrived at the training room he saw Xiantao looking at him. "You're late," Xiantao said as he looked at the male.

"I know, I'm sorry," King apologized as he walked over to a small stand that had a suit on it as well as a fencing épée that was a bit shorter than usual so that King could wield it properly. As soon as he put on the protective gear that had been provided for him. He then walked up to his fencing instructor who was on his knee's to match King's height.

"Ready?" Xiantao asked as he looked at the two in front of him as they both took a stance. "You may begin," Xiantao instructed as they both moved forward and he began to watch them repeatedly try to strike each other. As he did he walked up to a female that was holding a clipboard and seemed to be taking a few notes.

"How's he doing?" Xiantao asked as he looked at the female in front of him.

"It depends, if you mean in terms of his skill and technique then he's advanced a rather large amount in a remarkably short amount of time. However, if you mean for his physical condition while his stamina has improved slightly, every other category seems to have remained the same. That is except for his aura," The female said as she looked at the clipboard she was holding. Xiantao nodded hearing this and turned to look at the child.

"I know, I'm more than aware of his aura condition. In fact, it's probably grown since he started right?" Xiantao asked as he looked at the female in front of him causing her to nod.

"Indeed, in the few weeks that he's been practicing his aura has become nearly five times as potent, ten times as large, and he's producing aura at nearly twenty times the original rate as when he started," The female said as she looked down at the clipboard in front of her. Xiantao nodded hearing this and looked at the male in front of him.

As much as he tried to hide it Xiantao was beginning to worry about the child's physical condition. He doubted that his prince would ever encounter a threat that he would need to worry about but his physical condition was something that concerned him if such an event ever did arise. While he was skilled, and his aura reverses were large, to say the least physically he wasn't that imposing. So if an enemy ever did get close enough to harm him he'd probably go down in one or two hits.

"From what I've seen his eating habits are healthy. The best advice I can offer is to start him on a light exercise program," The female said as she looked at the male in front of him.

"He is," Xiantao said as he looked at her causing her to look at him with shock and Xiantao sighed. "A while ago he overheard me talking to one of your staff members and started working out at night. I overheard him talking to himself a few nights ago and somehow he figured out he has three extra hours between his curfew and the time he wakes up to not be tired when doing something. So he uses those extra three hours to work out. He doesn't think we know, but . . . we've known for a while," Xiantao said as he looked at the female.

She seemed shocked hearing this and nodded as she began to write one the small clipboard in front of her. Xiantao became a bit distressed seeing what she had written and turned back to look at the two and sighed once. It seemed like while he had been distracted King had stopped practicing and was now talking to his instructor. "You know, Xian says these things are supposed to be dangerous," King said as he looked at the épée he was holding, bending it slightly as he did.

"I mean, it's so light and flimsy there's no way it could hurt anyone right?" King said as he continued to bend the flimsy sword letting the tip go. As he did the épée swung around and the tip hit him in the eye. "Ow, my eye!" King screamed as he dropped the épée and began to hold his eyes. Xiantao sighed hearing this and looked to the side at the female he had just been talking to.

"Please alert the medical staff that King's hurt himself again," Xiantao said as he looked at the female beside him causing her to nod and begin to walk away. When she did Xiantao turned to look at the child and sighed. As much as he admired his prince he had to admit there were some aspects of him he wished he could change. King continued to hold his eyes until one of the royal nurses arrived and began to look him over.

"This shouldn't be too much of a problem," The female said as she began to treat the male's wound. Xiantao watched as she put something on his eye to reduce the swelling and then grabbed a small eyepatch that she placed some medical dust on. She then leaned forward with the small article of clothing and place it over his eye.

"That should do it," The female said as she placed the eyepatch on King. "Now the healing dust should have you healed in just a few minutes so try not to take it off until then okay?" The female said as she looked at the male in front of her.

"Argh, me matey," King said in a stereotypical pirate voice. This earned him a slight laugh from the female and she looked at him.

"So you understand right your majesty?" The female asked and earned an enthusiastic nod from King.

"Aye, aye captain," King said as he looked at the female in front of him. The female smiled hearing this and watched as King walked back over to Xiantao and his fencing instructor. "Ahoy, me hearties," King said with a smiled as he looked at the two in front of him.

"Are you feeling all right my prince?" Xiantao said as he looked down at the male in front of him.

"Aye!" King said as he looked at the male in front of him.

"Then once again get into position," Xiantao said as he looked at the two in front of him. When he did King did as told and looked at his opponent. "You may begin," Xiantao said as he looked at the two in front of him.

"Unguard, ye buccaneer!" King said as he went forward once again resuming practice. As he did King opponent attempted to strike him and nearly landed a hit causing King to jump back. "Blow me d- . . . blow you d- . . ." King began with a troubled expression before turning to look at Xiantao. "Xian, I forgot is it blow me down, or blow him down that means holy crap?" King asked as he looked at the male in front of him.

Xiantao sighed hearing this and looked up at the male. "Is that really important at the moment?" Xiantao asked as he looked at the child in front of him.

"Is it is for my character!" King declared as he took a stance. "Sir John cardinal, once a lonely farmer, turned into a swashbuckling pirate with an eccentric personality, all in the name to win the heart of a fair maiden," King said as he looked at the male in front of him. Xiantao stared at the child blankly hearing this and looked as if he was about to speak however before he could Rain walked into the room carrying a small container.

"I brought cabbage rolls!" Rain announced proudly.

"Yay!" King said enthusiastically as he ran over to the male in front of him. Xiantao sighed hearing this and looked at the two. He knew King needed to eat but thus far he's hardly done anything when it came to his training. He then shook his head and began to walk over to the small staff that had been monitoring him over the past few weeks to discuss some details with them, as he did Rain looked down at King a bit surprised.

"Oh, now, what happened to your eye?" Rain asked as he looked down at male. When he said this King seemed a bit surprised as he reached up to touch the small piece of clothing having completely forgotten he had it on.

"Oh right, I accidentally hit myself in the eye with my sword," King said as he looked at the male in front of him.

"Épée," Rain corrected as he looked down at the male in front of him.

"Well whatever it is, I hit myself with it," King said as he looked at the male in front of him. Rain sighed hearing this and walked over to one of the small benches that were in the room. Rain then opened the small container and handed King a cabbage roll. King smiled as he did and was about to take a bite before he stopped himself and turned to look at Rain. "Thank you, Rain," King said as he happily took a bite.

Rain chuckled seeing this and watched as King enjoyed his favorite meal. "Your thanks isn't necessary your majesty," Rain said as he looked down at the child. King seemed fairly unfazed hearing this, mainly because he heard that response all the time and the few times that he tried to get others to stop saying it they refused.

"This is really good, I didn't know you could cook," King said happily as he looked at the male in front of him.

"I didn't, I stole them," Rain said as he looked down at the child. When he did King choked on what he was eating and looked up at the male.

"You what?!" King asked clearly shocked at what he had just heard and punched Rain's stomach coming into contact with his hard abs letting out a few cracks as King reeled back in pain. "Ow, my hand!" King said as he began holding his hand, however just because he had hurt himself doesn't mean he wasn't going to scald the male for what he had done.

"You're a royal guard, and my immediate knight, you're the elite or the elite. Not to mention one of my royal advisors, you're not supposed to resort to crimes like petty theft! I should report you to Xian for confessing to such a heinous crime!" King began as he looked at the male in front of him.

He undoubtedly would have continued his scalding however Rain decided to bring it to an end. "Relax, my prince, I was only kidding," Rain said as he looked at the male in front of him. "Now let me see your hand," Rain said as he looked at the male in front of him. When he did King held out the hand that he had hit Rain with and just as he thought his knuckles had ripped and were now bleeding.

Rain sighed seeing this and reached into his pocket to pull out some wrapping. He spent more time with King than any of the other royal guards so he was typically prepared for most situation including King's slight temper-tantrums. As he wrapped his hand Rain looked at him, at this rate King would never be effective in battle. He may not have known how he hurt his eye however King had hurt himself more than Rain whenever he had punched him just now.

"King," Xiantao said as Rain finished bandaging King's hand. "It's time to continue with your lessons," Xiantao said as he looked at the male in front of him. King nodded hearing this and stood up and walked over to his instructor. Xiantao was about to walk over and start watching them however before he could Rain placed his hand on Xiantao's shoulder.

"Wait," Rain said as the male turned back to look at him. "We need to talk," Rain said as he looked at the male in front of him. Xiantao sighed hearing this and turned to look at him. "Are you sure this is the best option? I mean, King can't even punch someone without hurting himself," Rain said as he looked at the male in front of him.

"I know, which is why we need to prepare him, he may not be anything to be feared now. However in time, I'm sure he'll improve and become an intimidating figure," Xiantao explained as he looked at the male in front of him.

"And what if he doesn't? What if all this is just building up his confidence and setting him up for failure? Doing something like that is just as cruel as telling him directly," Rain said as he looked at the male in front of him.

"I know how cruel this seems now, but this is important," Xiantao said as he looked at Rain. As he did Rain rolled his eyes and looked past the male to stare at King. He seemed to have become a bit bored and was now balancing the épée on his nose clearly bored with what he was doing. Rain smiled and chuckled slightly seeing this and Xiantao turned to look at him.

"King what are you doing?!" Xiantao asked as she looked at the male. When he did King reached for the épée to take it off his nose holding behind his back.

"No-nothing!" King said as he stood up straight and a bit nervous. Xiantao sighed hearing this and looked at the clock on the wall.

"Well it doesn't matter practice is over anyway," Xiantao said as he looked at the male in front of him. King nodded hearing this and walked over to the small stand that was in the room and began to take off his gear and put away his épée. When he did King walked up to Rain and the two walked out of the room together.

"You've got an hour before curfew, so feel free to spend it however you like. However, if your time extends past that time I'll have to find you," Rain said as he looked at the male in front of him. King nodded hearing this and began to walk down the halls with Rain waiting until he was out of eyesight and then beginning to follow him. It was his job as an immediate knight after all. As King continued down at the halls he eventually made his way to the royal kitchen.

When he came in he saw several members of the clean-up crew working but no actual cooks. "Is something wrong your majesty?" One of the male's asked as he looked at King.

"No," King said as he walked over to one of the refrigerators and began to gather a few ingredients. He then walked over to a small counter and looked as if he was about to make something before he stopped. He then walked over to a male that was standing on a small ladder and tugged on his sleeve causing him to look down at him. "Can I have one of those containers?" King asked as he looked at the male in front of him.

The male seemed a bit confused by this request but nodded nonetheless. "Of course your majesty," The male said as he handed one of them to the male. King smiled when he did and took the small container before walking back over to where he had been just moments ago. King placed the small container to the side and then began to make some small sandwiches. When he had finished King smiled and began to put away most of the food he had gathered.

King placed the lid on the small container he had made and began to walk down the halls of the palace looking for a certain figure. Rain found his actions rather puzzling but decided against questioning the male and simply watched as he followed King down the halls. As he did King thought back to the girl he had seen earlier that day and despite looking for her failed to locate her. He then thought about what shew as wearing and remembered the small pin she was wearing on her outfit.

A rule that they had made so that the others could identify where they worked. When King remembered which pin she had been wearing he began to make his way down the halls and eventually came to a small break room that had a few tables, a sink, a microwave, a television, a couch, and a refrigerator. King peaked into the room a bit nervous and as he thought he saw the female from earlier that day sitting alone holding her stomach.

She seemed to be a mild amount of pain and while she most likely would have been fine she seemed to have a bit of trouble concentrating on her tasks. King then walked into the room holding the container behind his back as he did. "Hello," King chimed as he looked at the female. When he did the female turned to look at him and smiled.

"Hello your majesty, what are you doing here?" The female asked as she looked at King.

"I was looking for you," King said as he walked towards the female, as he did however it became very apparent that he was holding something behind his back.

"For me?" The female asked as she looked at the child. "You flatter me, surely you didn't come all the way here just to see me," The female said as she looked at the male in front of her.

"No," King said as he placed the container in front of her and lifted the lid. "Ta-dah," King said showing her the sandwiches he had made for her. "I remembered what you said earlier about your lunch, so I made you one," King said with a smile as he looked at the female in front of him. When he did the female smiled and looked at the male in front of her.

"Thank you," She said as she looked at him. She then reached into the box and pulled out one of the sandwiches offering it to him. "Would you like one?" She asked as she looked at him. King shook his head hearing this and looked up at her.

"No, I already ate," King said as he looked at the female in front of him. She smiled hearing this and looked at the male. "I didn't know what kind you like, so I made a bunch," King said as he looked at her.

"Well I appreciate it," The female said as she looked at the male. "Would you like to sit with me?" The female offered as she looked at the male in front of her. King nodded hearing this and began to sit on the seat across from her kicking his feet back and forth as he did.

"Okay, but I'll have to leave soon, it's almost time for my curfew," King said as he looked at the female in front of him.

"You know, whenever I first came here I was a bit afraid of working for someone like you. I was afraid you were going to be another stuck-up rich brat," The female said as she looked at the male. However, as she did she tensed up realizing what she had just said. Her lack of food must have made her a bit more trusting than usual causing this slight slip up. She was about to correct herself however before she could King spoke.

"I know, I hate people like that. I've had to go to a few heirs houses before and they're always so mean, especially to their servants," King said as he looked at the female in front of him. The female once again relaxed hearing this and looked at the male.

"You're not going to be like that are you?" The female asked as she looked at the child in front of her.

"What? Of course not! . . . or at least I hope not," King said as he looked at the female in front of her. "Xian and the others are always telling me about how hard people work, and as a result, I respect and appreciate all of my servants and aides," King said as he continued to look at the female in front of him. "So if you ever forget you're lunch again just tell me, and I'll make you something . . . but I can only make the easy stuff, Xian says that I'm not allowed to use knives," King said as he looked at the female in front of him.

The female chuckled hearing this and looked at the child in front of her. "Anyway," King said as he got off the chair. "I need to go now," King said as he looked at her. "Sorry I couldn't stay longer, but you're really nice so I'll talk to you again if I get the chance," King said as he looked at the female. She nodded hearing this and waved at the child as she watched him leave the room. Once he did King began to make his way to his room.

When he arrived he saw Rain standing outside of his room with a smile. "Glad to see that you could make it on time, my prince," Rain said as he looked at the male in front of him. King smiled hearing this and nodded as he walked into the room. When he did Rain smiled and watched him crawl into bed. Rain smiled and shut the door as he continued to stand guard by his room. However, after roughly five minutes had passed he heard some shifting behind the door followed by a few grunts.

Rain sighed hearing this and looked up at the ceiling with a slight smile. Despite his best efforts he had hardly improved at all, however, he still wanted to try so that he could be the best possible prince for his kingdom that he could be.
