SOMEWHERE IN CHINA

The party was all heated and while everyone was 'getting their freak on' I was sitting in a corner watching everyone act like drunken buffoons.

I don't even know why I even agreed to come to this house party where I could have been home under my blankets reading a book or something. I am not a very big fan of clubbing, partying and defiantly not getting drunk tho I like drinking till I can handle it. Don't get me wrong there is nothing wrong with all of it I just don't jump excitedly on such things. I don't even like wasting a lot of money on clothes like other normal girls would do. I stick to whatever I have my style is pretty casual you may look at me and think I am a lost case but people don't mess up with me they call me satan for a reason. Today ofcourse my friends forced me into some weird tight ass clothes.

I searched the lounge and saw my friends getting 'it' on with some strangers. I snorted and made my way towards them. I stumbled awkwardly towards them getting close enough so they could hear me over the music. I told them I had enough of it and I am leaving for my house. They rolled their eyes and agreed although they did made comments like "You are no fun" and "Wow the great Ji Doo Ri actually managed an hour here".

I found my jacket on the kitchen table and left for my safe heaven.

Boy was it a bad idea? No it was one of the worst.

I walked down the sidewalk of the town, feeling the fresh wind brush against my face. Shivering, I hurried and stumbled down the streets. My house was about half an hour walk away from the party house. I would be lucky if I don't get raped on the way.

Since it was a Saturday night, there were bunch of drunks and freaks out on the street I wish I had stayed back where it was a bit safer I guess?

I bowed my head against the wind, keeping my eyes down glued to my feet so I could focus and walk without tripping I did have a drink or two. Plus it was best not to make any eye contact with people around.

Because I was busy looking down I didn't realized where I was going. Therefore when I looked up I had no clue where I was. All I knew I shouldn't be here. I turned around quickly hurrying back to where I came from but I couldn't remember if I had turned or not, so when I arrived at some intersection I looked down every street each looking worst then the other finally deciding on one I made my way.

As I hurried down the street I had a distinct feeling that someone was watching and following me. Every passing minute I would hear someone shuffling or something falling. It had to rats maybe? Rats can go pretty big right? They could be eating or throwing trash here and there?

I blur of yellow caught my attention but as I snapped my head backwards there was nothing. I started walking again. I heard a hiss behind me again turning around again I saw nothing I groaned in annoyance and started walking.

After five minutes of walk another blur caught my eye before I could process I was knocked sideways, something hitting me hard resulting me on the road.

As I looked up I was met with a pair of eyes staring down at me. I felt two hand on my upper arms pressing me on the road. His nails digging in my arms. Skin glowing in the moon. Drunk and lustful eyes focused on me like I was food. Suddenly i felt teeth sinking in my shoulder.

Thinking this was the end I was prepared eyes shut and I was ready for anything the future would hold and....

*Wee woo Wee woo Wee woo*

"This is Officer Ying Sheng-Li I request you to leave the girl alone and soundly come with me sir."

He pulled the drunken man off me and tackled him.

"Are you alright ma'am?"

I opened my eyes very slowly to be greeted by the angel, God had sent for me. I managed a nod. The officer smiled at me and took the man with him after making sure another police man takes me home safely.

After a little while I was home. The officer told everything to my aunt, boy was she horrified? Anyone would have been tho. She gave me some food after that I showered, and went to bed my safe heaven, away from the hassle.

'Wow what a weird day well at last I am safe now all is fine am not dead instead here I lay in my bed ready to...'

All my thoughts were gone as I felt a screeching pain in my left arm and the distinct sensation of getting vaccine seeped through my veins. I tried to scream but all that came out was a whimper. Pain flashed through my existence. I tried to scream again but nothing came out again.

And then it just ended.

I closed my eyes as I tried to steady my breathing. I pulled myself into a steady position and examined my arm there was a scratch or two it wasn't bleeding or anything and nothing felt broken as well. I had a stupid little hickey on my shoulder but... And there it was again, the feeling washed all over me again double the pain last wave had. I tried to scream again but nothing came out.

I was flabbergasted. I couldn't understand, couldn't make sense of what was happening.

My body tried to reject the pain, as I was sucked again and again into a

blackness that cut out seconds or maybe even minutes of the agony, making it much harder to keep up with reality and it all went black.
