BAEKHYUN’S POV

It is been almost three days and now SM smell it. It is so strong how couldnt they catch the smell sooner? Then again we really can’t say anything about it to SM it is like the new guy’s nature n all. I really have no idea how our nature works and all anyways I think I should go see Suho in the office he was pretty tensed. He is always like this with new family members.

He thinks he will disappoint them or they won’t understand him. Actually it took all of us time to adjust to him and Kris. They are wolves by birth. They grew in a wolf pack, their family background consists of wolves so yeah they are different since we were turned well this is how it is for wolves I guess the ones who were born in wolf families can sniff there new pack when they get mature Kris and Suho found each other and SM found them and then eventually we all found each other.

As I make way to Suho I caught Yeol going in one of the spare room why is he going in the spare room? I will ask later I guess.

Entering the room I find Suho in a corner, sleeping, in between a circle of books and papers, with his glasses sliding down his nose bridge. I have no idea why he has chairs in our office when this man doesn’t even use them. There are so many papers here and there wow im curious to what he is reading. I go a little further to see books about how to handle depressed animals and other books pretty much related and how to handle new pups n all waaa he is so considerate the new guy has not even shown and he loves him enough to take precautionary steps I guess it’s in our nature I feel love towards the new one as well.

I remember when we got Jongin he was really stressed and shock he had no idea what he turned into he thought he was a monster for wanting raw meat n all, poor pup. Kangsoo handled him with Suho a lot. Even me, Suho was the one who helped me a lot even helped me in baths n all and boy did he cried when we all first shifted into our wolf forms he cried so much just hearing our screams he was in as much pain although he never came to the cellar with Kris while we shifted. Without him I really don’t think we would have this unity in our family even good relations with other groups are due to him he always knows what to say and when to and he also knows what we don’t say and he supports us. I am very sure every other pack wants a leader like him.

I pick all the books and put them aside and lift him. He flinches and peeks at what is going on. He immediately relaxes looking at me I give him a smile and tell him to go back to sleep and he does. I take him to my room and lay him on my bed, under the covers (his room was far and I too am lazy).

After putting him to bed I slide down the bed and I find myself going back to the office when I see the lights of the spare room on. Who can be there then I remember I saw Chanyeol going there. I go there and I find him sitting on the floor almost 10 steps forward from the main entrance. He cleaned the whole room and im sure he modified it since no one ever goes in here wow no wonder I didn’t see his beauti… no just face I didn’t see his face the whole day.

It looks really cozy yet very simple. There is a queen size bed at the far end of the right wall. The bed has white and greyish brown sheets with red doodles on the pillow cover. The left wall is given a rocky look and has a fire place. He also managed some weird blue curtains, for the window and the door that leads to the back garden, it surprisingly looks nice. Not far from the bed is a sofa that matches the wood color and on it is a comfy looking blanket. It matches with the bed sheets but what is interesting is the hearts on it, it looks like the blanket is for a girl I chuckle at the thought. 

“Yeoliee this is so cute and considerate but don’t you think the blanket is a little bit girly”

He looks up at me, finally acknowledging my presence. He looks at me and flashes that million dollar smile he has.

“Oh hi Baek. Uhh I bought this blanki on purpose I know no one will agree with me but I think our new member is a female wolf.”

I look at him like he had grown two heads or something.

“Yeol it cannot be a girl I mean we always got guys and it’s…”

“Possible” he cuts me and continues. “Come on Baekiee we both know there are no rules saying if a family has guys then they will only have guys? It happens less, I know but come one we know so many packs that have both genders and I can bet this time we have a girl.”

“How are you so sure of it?”

“I just know it whatever it is I feel as if she is someone close to me I don’t know how to explain tho but I know it’s a she wolf.”

My heart drops.

“Oh ok just go sleep it’s late and since they have sniffers on the go SM will probably tell us the location by tomorrow” I tell him.

He bids me good night and I go to my room and realize that Suho isn’t there anymore he must have woken up he really doesn’t like to sleep anywhere but his bed.

My thoughts roam around Chanyeol’s words

‘I feel as if she is someone close to me I don’t know how to explain’

I always knew we cannot be what I want but hearing such things makes me feel as if my heart is ripping itself. I for some reason find myself praying for him to be wrong, right before I drifted to sleep.
