LUCAS’ POV

“It was an honor to have you all here thank you.” I silently thanked the Lord, as soon as the interviewer said these words. We all stood up and bid our farewells and finally left the stage.

Today any four members of NCT (Taeyong, Jaehyun, Taeil and Lucas the ever best.) and EXO (Suho, Xiumin, Baekhyun and Sehun) were invited to this stupid show. I swear it’s such a headache.

It’s been seven months or slightly a little over the time since Erie and Aana debuted and like they said they do meet and compete us on the charts. They are on fire and their demand is like the demand of a chocolate filled doughnut.

“That was exus-” Tae was cut off by a fan, in a big hoodie almost covering her face, jumping on him.

“Oppa saranghae!!! Oppa marry meeeeee.” It took all of us (including my group leader) 2 minutes to grasp what actually happened and 2 more seconds to register the fact that the one who jumped on Tae isn’t any fan but is my-phatic-excuse-of-a best friend who is miserably falling on acting like a sasaeng fan.

Suddenly he bit the edge of a smile, probably he got a funny idea in his head, a vain attempt to keep his creeping grin at bay. The intention behind his perking lips wasn’t something that could easily be ensured. It was rather something to sit back, watch and enjoy.

“Oh baby why not? Let’s take everything to the bed room shall we? My little fiancé.”

As the ‘fake sasaeng’ visibly tensed I knew Tae caught the fish. His little to no smile twitched a little before he threw the ‘fiancé’ over his shoulder and started walking.

“Yaah you idiot out me down” Erie cried on top of her lungs but to no avail. We all laughed and after a moment we all went back to our own bussiness. I suddenly took a moment to just live it in.

Erie and Taeyong having their little fight. Taeil and Xiumin talking about how stupid young people are. Baekhyun and Jaehyun are talking about the comfortable PJs they bought last week and lastly Sehun is trying to control his anger and jealousy over the new fake couple.

‘Tch Idiot he should confess already’

“Yaah Lee Taeyong put me down this instant or you might not live long enough to meet your actual fiancé!!” Erie was on her feet in a mini second.

She walked up to us in an elegant manner, one I never thought she had in her when we were young.

“Hi guys.” And a whole new train of talks began.

SEHUN'S POV

I feel like ripping them apart. She could have done the same to me as well and I would have actually married her in a heartbeat.

“You should just confess instead of watching them like a hawk ready to kill.” Baekhyun hyung said.

“I plan on doing exactly that but I am not a hawk ready to kill. I’m a wolf ready to kill.” I huffed and started contemplating the possibilities of a healthy wolf dying by a flying cactus pot (since I can spot one, might as well use it).

“You stupid baby don’t kill just... I don’t know maybe CONFESS?”

“Okhey okhey don’t get so worked up on me.” After saying that I marched straight to Erie.

‘I will tell her that I'm hooked over her. I will turn her and kiss the living daylights out of her and if someone tries to come in between I will make them choke on Chanyeol’s rolex watch. I will tell Eire she takes my breath away by simply existing. OH SEHUN WILL SAY IT! OH Sehun WILL NOT HESITATE.’

I went to her, turned her around and well…… Oh Sehun gulped.

“Oh hi Sehuniee.” She said in her honey dripping voice the one that is so addicting and smooth and-

“Hello? Sehun?”

‘Now or never Oh Sehun.’

“Will you go out with me?”

Erie shared a mini second eye contact with Taeyong and then looked at me with big beautiful silver eyes.

‘This is it. This isit. Thisisit. OMG’

“Sehun I am already going out with Taeyong.” I heard a heart break somewhere... “I'll go out with u tomorrow. I promise tomorrow I will be yours.” …never mind it wasn’t mine.

“Sehun? Okhy? Let’s go for movies maybe?” Erie said but she wasn’t looking at me she was looking at Taeyong.

Anger boiled in my heart but I controlled it.

“Hey Eire?”

She looked at me and hummed as an answer. I hesitated but I wanted to know...

“Is there something between you two?” I asked after a minute of eternity.

“Whaaaaattt???” Her eyes were as big as an owl's or Kyungsoo’s but the shock on her face was enough for me to know yet she answered “we are just friends you idiot”

“Aish I was just joking around silly” I said adding a nervous laughter over it.

“Whatever you say Oh.” Erie said with a hint of confusion and nervousness? I must be assuming things.

“I'll be taking her now.” Taeyong said suddenly appearing next to her, slinging an arm around her shoulder dragging her away.

Suddenly I was searching for the cactus pot I saw earlier.

Suddenly I had the urge to kill someone again I have no idea why.

ERIE’S POV

“What are you? A fool?” Taeyong asked as soon as we were out of Sehun’s hearing stretch.

“I just uh…” Taeyong sighed.

“I know you are seeing him after weeks before but really Erie can you not wait till tomorow? You are going to tell him how you feel regardless just be patient if I had not pulled you I personally believe you would have spilled the beans.”

“No! what the fuck? I have self-control Lee Taeyong.” I said while we both walked to our regular café. We successfully managed to sit at the far end with coffee, hot coca and doughnuts with us that to without getting noticed.

“So how are you going to confess?” Taeyong asked.

“I uh… I dunno.”

“Really? You go to China for a week and one day before coming back you tell me you will confess as soon as you come back. Yet here you are with zero ideas about anything you are going to do.”

“Yaaah shut up will you?”

“Tell me why first.”

“I just realized he is too dumb to do any shit on his own…”

“Don’t give the same lame bullshit of an excuse again he legit asked you out 25 minutes ago. The real reason… tell me that or I am calling someone who might as well help me.”

“There is no one who can.” I narrowed my eyes at him.

“Is that a challenge I hear.” I kept my eyes narrowed giving him a silent yes.

“Okhey might as well tell Chen and Xiumin hyung that their daughter plans to confess.”

“You are not using my parents Lee Taefuck.”

“Okhey then imma call your ‘BEST FRIENDS’ one of them happens to be the father of the person you want to confess to.” I sighed and threw a cupcake at Taeyong who did nothing but smirked his signature ‘triumphant smirk’.

“Fine, when I was in China I was talking to Luhan oppa and he said he noticed mine and Sehun’s matching plushies.” Taeyong raised a questioning eyebrow “you and I weren’t even friends when we bought it and it wasn’t on propose I happened to like the dragon but it came with a pair.”

When I got an approving look from Tae I started with my story.

“Yeah so Lu oppa started teasing me and me being me blurted out ‘it’s not like he will like me back’ for a minute we both didn’t say anything but then he asked if Sehun knows and if we are together but I quickly said no and that I am waiting for him to say. We went silent again and then he was called out for his shoot but before leaving he said and I quote ‘say it before you lose time and opportunities. Say it before it’s too late. Say whatever you are feeling. Waiting is a mistake.’ We didn’t talk about it again but I told him I will confess when I was leaving China.”

“Oh” was what Tae replied me with. After contemplating on God knows what, a very mischievous grin split across his face.

“Don’t even say what you are thinking I know it’s something I don’t even want to know.”

“Very funny Erie I am a pure child.” He wiggled his eyebrows at me.

“You dirty man! Take me to the mall will you?”

“Okhey okhey lets go.”

(Next day)
SEHUN’S POV

Yesterday wasn’t much fun to be exact Erie ended up staying at Taeyong's but today it will be everything I want it to be.

Erie’s words roamed around my head like no other. I will tell her everything today for sure.

“Planning your confession little one?”

I snapped out of my daze and looked at the over grown yoda, who was leaning against the door frame.

“How do you know?” I asked a little afraid, don’t get me wrong I love him but I did not forget the warning he gave me last time.

“Me” a small head of certain Byun Beakhyun appeared from Yeol's behind.

“So what's the plan? can we help?” I was surprised at Yeol's offer. “What? Surprised? Oh Sehun I'm fine with you dating my best friend after all you are my son but my warning lies the same don’t hurt her or else…”

“PARK CHAYEOL WE ARE HERE TO SUPPORT OUR CHILD NOT TO THREATEN HIM WITH GIANT BIRDS!!!”
