"Hello..." JJ said as she walked in Mr Mead's room. She was now on her 'free' lesson and Mr Mead has a free period as well.
"Hiya JJ" He said, looking up from the marking he was doing. Before JJ could even get her books out Mr Wilding came skipping into the room.
"Ah- JJ! I found you" He said happily.
"She'll be with me this lesson" He said, turning to talk to Mr Mead who nodded his head.
"Come on" He said, ushering JJ out of the room.
"Err... where are we going and what are we doing?" JJ asks nervously.
"Talent show rehearsals." Mr Wilding simply stated, opening the door of the main hall.
"Now, did you have any songs in mind?" He asked the teen as she placed her bags down by the stage.
"Ermm...yeah actually" JJ responded, pulling a list from her pocket. She handed it to Mr Wilding. His smile grew as he looked at the songs.
"This one" He said happily, turning the list so JJ could read what sing he had chosen.
"Up you go..." He said, getting the song up on you-tube before connecting it to the speakers. He looked up and saw how nervous JJ was.
"You can do this" He said encouragingly before starting the song. Who Say's by; Selena Gomez started playing through the speakers. JJ was quiet at first because of her nerves but soon relaxed and started to enjoy herself.
JJ was enjoying herself so much that she didn't even notice Mr Byrne and Mr Mead walk into the hall. By the time the song finished, JJ had been walking around. She jumped a little and turned around when she heard 3 people clapping. She blushed a little bit when she saw all 3 men stood there smiling at her.
"That was amazing JJ!" Mr Wilding said, walking over to her.
"Sing another..." Mr Wilding said happily, clapping his hands together.
"Ermm...okay" JJ said, quickly changing the song on her phone. JJ waited for the song to start before she started singing Titanium (covered) by; Madilyn Bailey. JJ was clearly enjoying herself. Once the song ended, yet again all the teachers clapped.
"OMG! You're brilliant" Mr Wilding said happily.
"Thanks" JJ said shyly. The three teachers spoke as JJ went back over to gather her belongings together.
"JJ..." Mr Byrne said from the distance. JJ put her phone away and walked over to him.
"Yes sir" She said.
"There's a new boy starting tomorrow. His name is Nick. He too, likes music and dance. I was thinking that maybe you could show him around and help him settle in?" Mr Byrne said.
"Sure, yeah" JJ said, as the bell rang signalling the end of the lesson.
"Come to my office tomorrow morning during registration. I think he has the same timetable as you or at least most of it" Mr Byrne said, as JJ collected her belongings.
"Okay, I'll see you then. Bye!" JJ called walking out of the hall to go to her next lesson, which was dance. JJ quickly changed into her dance clothes before returning to the hall where her lesson was being held.

Luckily for JJ, dance was her last lesson of the day as she had a meeting that she had to attend for social services. It was nearly the end of her lesson, so JJ and the group she was dancing with, decided to have one more run-through. Halfway through the dance, JJ felt something in her knee pull. There was instant pain, but JJ kept dancing until the end.
"Okay guys, that's great. Go and get changed" The teacher said, dismissing the class.
"JJ you okay?" The teacher asked, once she noticing JJ limping.
"Yeah...I just pulled something in my knee. I'm fine" JJ reassured her before slowly making her way to the changing rooms. As she was leaving school, she didn't bother getting changed. JJ gathered up all her belongings before heading to the office to sign out where Elliot had agreed to meet her. The pain in JJ's knee was only getting worse and when it came to walking up the stairs JJ sighed.
"T-Mr Clarkson" JJ sighed with relief as he walked passed.
"You okay...aren't you leaving now?" He asked, noticing that something was clearly up.
"Yeah...ermm, don't suppose you can go get Elliot from the office and sign out for me? I hurt my knee in dance and now it really hurts" JJ said, leaning against the lockers at the bottom of the stairs.
"Sure...I'll be back in a minute" He says, heading up the stairs. A few minutes later, Elliot walks back down the stairs with Tom.
"What have you done?" Elliot said, once he saw JJ.
"Hurt my knee. Come on lets go" JJ said, turning around and limping away.
"Thanks Mr Clarkson" She shouted, walking away. Tom laughed slightly with Elliot before Elliot walked off after JJ.

A few hours later and JJ was finished at the social services office building. Elliot had a better solution for JJ – a group home that specialised in children JJ's age so they were all focused on the same sort of things in school meaning the staff were able to create a support system that was better for each child's needs.
"Let's go get your stuff then trouble" Elliot joked as he lead JJ outside to his car.
"Wont take long...I knew I was leaving so it's all packed anyways. Just got the essentials to pack" JJ admitted as they started the short drive to her foster home. The family already knew JJ was leaving, yet they made no special efforts to be home. JJ used her key to let herself in and went with Elliot to gather her belongings. Once she was saw she had everything, they left. JJ locked up the house and slipped the key she had back through the letter box before sighing and hobbling her way back to the car. Without really saying anything the pair made their way to the group home where JJ would be living.
"Hello Elliot, and you must be JJ" A women said as they approached the front door.
"Hi" JJ said shyly.
"Well come on in dear. We don't bite. I'm Victoria Lisbon, but you can call me Vic. I run this home. We'll get you to your room and show you about before we introduce you to the other members of the house and staff." Vic explained. JJ smiled and followed Elliot and Vic around.

Within 30 minutes, JJ was sat in her room organising her stuff with one of the girls from the home.
"It's really nice here...you'll settle in quickly" Shelly told her new friend as she helped JJ sort out her belongings. JJ smiled.
"Thanks...I think something different will be better for once. I've had a rough few months being bounced around" JJ admitted, as she hung up her uniform. Just then Vic shouted from downstairs that dinner was ready. After dinner, JJ joined everyone for a movie before heading to bed. For once in the past few months JJ actually felt like she was finally going to settle down somewhere she liked. After having a shower and changing into her pyjamas, JJ went to bed. For the first time in weeks she was actually happy.
