It had been a week since the incident with JJ and the pill. JJ was released from the hospital the next day and returned to school 2 days later. She was still staying with Tom and Josh but would be moving in with a new foster family after school today. It was currently 8am and JJ was sat in the kitchen, patiently waiting for Josh and Tom who seemed to be taking forever to get ready. The minute they were ready, all 3 of them headed straight out to the car otherwise they risked being late to school.

When they arrived at school, JJ followed Tom to his classroom as there was only a few minutes until form time started and JJ wanted to complete some homework. She sat down at her desk and got to work. Soon enough the bell ringed and other pupils filed into the room before Tom got on with form time. JJ only looked up from her book when there was a knock at the door. It was Mr Wilding.
"Sorry, can I borrow JJ please?" He asks, glancing between Tom and JJ. Tom nodded his head and the teen quickly shoved everything back into her school bag before following Mr Wilding away from the classroom. The pair made their way into the main hall.
"Don't worry, you're not in trouble..." Mr Wilding laughed as he turned to see the worried expression on JJ's face. The teen instantly relaxed upon hearing this but still asked;
"What's this about then?"
"Well, as you know we have the talent show coming up...and I really want you to take part in it..." Mr Wilding said, making JJ laugh a little. You see, JJ has a hidden talent that most of her friends know about – She can sing...like really well. She loves to sing really but she hates to sing in front of people, especially big crowds.
"I...I can't" JJ hesitated.
"Yes, you can...I'll be in the front row with Tom and everyone else. JJ you have such talent when it comes to singing...I believe in you" Mr Wilding said, making the teen smile.
"Really?" She asked shocked.
"Yes. You're amazing at singing and would be amazing..."
"Can I think about it...get back to you by the end of the day?" JJ asked, clearly thinking hard about whether or not to do it.
"Sure..." Mr Wilding said.
"Can I go now?" JJ asked, as the bell had already rung, and first period had started.
"Yeah...take this" Mr Wilding said, handing JJ a note that explained her reason for being late. JJ thanked him before exiting the hall and making her way to her first lesson of the day which happened to be science with Mr Mead. JJ soon arrived at her classroom and walked inside.
"Sorry sir, I was talking to Mr Wilding..." JJ said, handing Mr Mead the note before she made her way to sit down next to Josh on the back row. She was quick to get out her book and listen as Mr Mead came over to explain what JJ was meant to be doing. JJ was quick to catch up and when Mr Mead split the class into groups, Josh took the opportunity to question his best friend.
"What did Wilding want?" Josh asked, nudging JJ slightly.
"He wants me to sing in the Talent show in 2 weeks"
"Really...are you going to do it?" Josh asked excitedly.
"I don't know...I have until the end of the day to decide but Mr Wilding said that he believed in me and really, really wants me to..." JJ says hesitantly.
"Well, I think you should..." Josh says to his friend before they get to work.

The rest of the day flies by and before anyone knows it, school had finished. JJ has thought about the talent show all day and has made up her mind. Josh went with her to talk to Mr Wilding.
"So..." Mr Wilding asks eagerly the second he sees JJ.
"I'll do it..." JJ says with a smile, practically making Mr Wilding bounce with excitement.
"Great..." Mr Wilding says.
"Now think about songs...and come see me tomorrow" He says looking at the time.
"Thanks sir" JJ says, before walking out with Josh. They make their way to Tom who is waiting patiently in the car.
"Guess what...JJ's singing in the talent show!" Josh says, the minute Tom starts to drive home.
"Oh- really. I'll defiantly be coming then" Tom says with a smile. Once they arrive home, they all head inside and Josh helps JJ pack the remainder of her things. JJ changes out of her uniform before Elliot arrives to take her to her new temporary foster family. JJ thanks Tom again before following Elliot out to his car. Elliot takes JJ back to the office and leaves her whilst he goes to get the new couple that will be looking after JJ.

JJ sat on one of the chairs in Elliot's office with her knee bouncing a little. She sat waiting patiently for Elliot to return. JJ instantly sat up straight when she heard the door of the office open. She turned slightly to see Elliot walking in with Alia and David right behind him.
"JJ, this is Alia and Derek Morrison" Elliot said, making the teen turn and shake their hands.
"Nice to meet you" JJ says politely. The four spend some time chatting and going through the paper work before JJ gets shown where Alia and Derek live. They show her to her room before leaving her to settle in. JJ instantly unpacks a few of her things before going into the kitchen to have some dinner with David and Alia. After dinner she heads to bed and spends an hour or so texting her friends and completing some work before going to sleep.
