Suspitions
A few weeks past since the mysterious Rose Andrew Coleman came into the workers of Lockwood & Co.'s lives. She certainly had been...
Different...
Lucy doesn't trust her one bit, there was something about her that made her feel uneasy. Maybe it was the way she always covered her left eye? Maybe it was the way she was so secretive? Or maybe it was the way she was better than her...
While she was still skinny and weak, she was still a badass. Her sword skills were like nothing they had ever seen before, then she had this second technique.
Guns.
For the first time in the Problem history, guns were used. And needless to say, you don't want to be on her bad side no matter what gun she used, no matter how far or small the target is, she hits it. Or she misses to cause it to go somewhere else.
FINALLY! She is amazing with martial arts, granted her bones were weak, so she couldn't put in a hard punch or kick , but even being in that state she was fast, silent.
Almost like an assassin...
Then... There was the way Lockwood looked at her. He looked up towards Rose, like a son would to an awesome mother. He trained with her whenever he could, always seeming to enjoy it. Lucy was like the outcast. She was rarely noticed by any of them. The only one who she could talk to was the Skull, who agreed with her feelings at the girl.
She doesn't have a good aura. Maybe go get a coat hanger, I'll guide you afterwards.
Lucy groaned at the skills comment, but she did agree with the aura. There was something behind that eye, Lucy knew that. But what?
Back when she was fairly weak that she stayed on the couch, George had whispered something to Lucy, "it's just darkness...." But what did that mean?
~~~
"Oh, hey Lucy?" Rose asked as she fiddled with the shotgun on her back, Lucy had no idea how she could carry a pistol, a revolver, a shot gun, a sniper and a rifle on her and still be weak.
"Yes Rose?"
"Listen, I need a favour."
"Like I'd ever help you..." Went through Lucy's mind, she just stared down the covered eye, trying to see though the mass amounts of brown and black hair while her blue and green mixture of an eye looked at her with concern.
"It's about the skull..." That snapped Lucy into attention. Could she hear the ghost? Was it not just her?
"Yeah?"
A smirk like smile crept on to Rose's face.
"I'd watch out. He's not what he will say he is."
That's all she said and walked off, filling her guns with special bullets that's a mixture of silver and iron.
Lucy looked at the skull who gave an 'I have no idea.' Look. Her questions increased when she was allowed on to her first case.
