New Girl

The girl desperately walked to the agency, her breathing turning more rapid. She collapsed at the stairs, taking a gulp and dragging her way up.

Lucy laughed at the most stupidest joke from George, Lockwood sat at the table scribbling on the thinking cloth.
'You guys done being idiots?' Lockwood asked the others, for half an hour they have been laughing like idiots at the worst jokes imaginable.
'Oh cheer up!' George said rolling his blue eyes.
'Someone's on his period.' Lucy joked, she laughed at the thought and Lockwood sighed. With how grumpy he was it would be no surprise- well he was a guy so it kinda would be.
'Quiet for a sec.' Lockwood said, they all fell silent as they heard weak banging at the door. George checked the brown clock on the side above the fire place, it read 11:23 in the afternoon.
Lucy had a confusion on her face, Lockwood stood up taking out his long rapier as he approached the door. As far as he knew the iron tiles outside were fixed.
When he opened the door he found nothing, as he looked left and right he heard shallow breathing.
'Help... Me...' A voice whispered, when he looked down he saw the girl.
Her hair was waist long a mixture of brown and black, her body was so skinny, almost dangerously, a bright blue and green eye looked up at him. Her face was pretty, her lips bright red.
Except for all the cuts. All over her face and visible parts of her body though her torn clothing.
Her left eye was covered by her long fringe.
'George! Get blankets! Lucy make some tea!' Lockwood shouted as he picked up the girl, her body unnaturally cold. He shut the door with the heel of his foot and went to the main room.
He gently laid the fragile girl on the couch while George covered her in a blanket.
Once she got some food and tea down her she felt a lot better. Even if she was in excruciating pain.
'Who is she?' Lucy asked, George scoffed and she looked at him. 'What?!'
'As if we knew!' He shouted, Lockwood put out his hand to silence them as the girl tried to speak.
'I'm sorry, can you say that again?'
'I... I want... To join...' She whispered, trying not to strain her hurt vocal chords.
'Your in no shape. Just rest. Take whatever you wish. Ok?' Lockwood stated kneeling next to her smiling. Typical Lockwood, so nice and a proper gentleman. She nodded in thank you. Her beautiful eye glistened in the light before she closed it and drifted off.

The three walked out of the room and went upstairs.
'What if she's a murderer?' George asked his eyes full of concern.
'Even if she is, she has no strength.' Lucy stated as she rolled her eyes at stupid George.
'We all best get to bed. We have a case tomorrow anyway.' Lockwood stated, George took no time to go to his room. Lucy and Lockwood hanged out for a little longer.
'I don't like this.' Lucy said looking down the stairs.
'We'll be fine, and I can tell she's a sweet girl.' Lockwood stated as he ran his slender fingers through his hair.
Lucy gulped, 'don't you feel it? She has a weird aura. It gives me chills!' She whisper-shouted. Lockwood sighed.
'Your just tired, Luce. Have a nice sleep.' He said before going into his room to sleep.
When Lucy lied on her bed she closed her eyes. 'Even if she is safe, there's something about her...' Lucy mumbled to herself before she fell asleep.
~~~~
Morning broke and the two guys was awake, Lazy Lucy was still fast asleep while the girl just wouldn't speak.
'Hello?' George asked, she looked at him tiredly.
She did nothing but just wave slightly.
'What's your name?'
The girl pointed to the flowers on the side.
'Poppy?' He guessed but she shook her head. 'Lilly? Rose?' He got a nod at Rose.
'Nice name.' He said smiling, Rose couldn't help but smile. George felt happy when she smiled. It was one of those that made you melt no matter what your relationship with her is, made you feel warm and think that everything is ok.
George liked it.
'Move your hair.' He said reaching out for her face to move her hair, she proper slapped Georges hand with a scared expression to her face. 'Why not?'
'Secret.' She said.
'What's your Talent?' Lockwood asked.
'I'm strong with all 3.' She stated quietly as George helped her sit up.
'How strong?'
'I can hear the whispers of type ones, I can feel the presence of the Source and I can see every little Visitor.' She told them.
A girl that powerful? Lockwood thought, that's a lie. Isn't it?
Once she felt better an hour later Lockwood gave her tests, every one she passed amazingly. Not even Lucy Touched that good, or used Sight as good as Lockwood ect.
She was unique.
George swore he saw something behind her hair.
Not something. Just a colour.
Pure black.
