Carson Williams was getting tired of lying low. Ever since he and his commandos had been rescued from Star Labs by Lex Luthor, they'd been forced to hide out in one of Luthor's safehouses, since they were still wanted by the government as ex ASA and he was getting tired of waiting. Then Luthor himself had been forced to go on the run after the same reporter who'd taken down the ASA. Stupid bitch. Williams swore to himself that if he ever got his hands on her, he'd make her wish that he'd just kill her quickly.

Now he and his men were still cooped up in one of Lex's safehouses, though he was having them make plans to move soon, since it was only a matter of time until the authorities discovered this safehouse.

"Sir, where exactly are we going to go? All ASA assets have been seized and we can't exactly stroll around in the daylight." one of his agents said.

"I know, I know. I can't believe I'm saying this, but maybe we should try and make a break for Markovia." Williams said.

"Commander, that's high treason. It goes against everything we stood for as ASA agents." one of the commandos said.

"The ASA is gone and we're already treated like criminals. We have no choice. We're already being hunted by the government, they'll find us eventually. Who knows, maybe Markovia will be eager to offer us sanctuary." Williams said, right as they heard a strange warping sound and Williams turned to see two black men in front of him.

"Sounds like we picked a good time to drop in." the man with a scar on his face said.

"Who are you?" Williams asked.

"Right, how rude of me not to introduce myself. Commander Williams, my name is Tyson Sykes. I'm in charge of Markovia's military and metahuman operation and it sounds like I might be the answer to your problems." Gravedigger said.

"How so?" Williams asked.

"It's been brought to my attention that you have been treated by a criminal simply because you were doing your duty. Something that I understand and I'm willing to allow you and your men safe haven in Markovia, so long as you agree to aid us." Gravedigger said.

"Aid you in what?" Williams asked.

"Aid us in liberating the metas being held prisoner by the US." Gravedigger said.

"We don't have much of a choice. With Luthor already being hunted, it's only a matter of time until this safehouse is compromised." Williams said and while his commandos looked a bit more hesitant about it, they knew that their leader was right.

"You heard the man, get us out of here." Gravedigger said to Instant, who nodded as he then proceeded to teleport them away.

"Well, what do you think?" Jefferson asked Henderson as he went over all the information Lady Eve had provided him with about Tobias's operation.

"I think this is more than enough to bring in outside law enforcement, the only problem is how are we going to get it to them and make sure it ends up in the hands of someone we trust?" Henderson asked.

"Leave that to me. I'm also going to leak it to the press, we just needed to make sure that there was enough information here to warrant outside law enforcement coming in." Jefferson said and Henderson said.

"You gonna give it to your friend at Danvers Daily News? Speaking of, did you hear that there were plans to open an office here in Freeland?" Henderson said.

"Yes and yes. I don't know who she'll have run it yet though." Jefferson said.

"Well, if you see her, tell her I'd recommend Jamilah Olsen, since she was the voice of the Resistance, not to mention she was a very talented journalist." Henderson said.

"I'll make sure to pass the message along to her." Jefferson agreed.
