Vacation

Enjoy!

"Daddy! Daddy! Daddy!"

Alice happily yelled trying to run away from her grandfather that was chasing her. Yugi looked up from the book he was reading and smiled as he saw his daughter and grandfather playing. Yugi decided to spend the day at the park and close the shop for half of the day since they were getting a little slow in customers.

"Run princess run"

Yugi said laughing as his grandpa couldn't really keep up with Alice. He looked to his side and saw Sarah the evil counterpart of Alice, even though they both look alike, Yugi needed to come up with a new name for the evil counterpart, in which he came up with Sarah. Nobody can't see her unless she wants you to see her.

"Hey don't you want to play?"

He asked his other daughter. Sarah looked up at him and shook her head.

"Why not?"

"I'm perfectly fine sitting by you dad"

"Okay if your sure"

Sarah smiled and happily went to her dad and sat on top of his lap, she notice the book"

"What are you reading?"

"Oh its a book about Egypt"

"Why are you reading that for?"

"Well I was thinking of we can go on a family vacation"

"Wow really! Does the book have pictures?"

Yugi smiled and showed her the book.

"It looks.....boring and hot"

"Well it is but only certain parts are very hot"

"Why are we going over there?"

"Because I thought it would be a good idea if you and Alice were to meet my best friend that's in the afterlife"

Sarah frown

"The darkness?"

Yugi smiled softly at her.

"No sweetheart not the one your thinking about its more peaceful, its like if we're going back to the past"

"Ah"

She said simply in understanding. Just then Grandpa and Alice return to Yugi with Alice riding on her grandfather's back.

"Are you ready to go home now?"

Yugi asked.

"Yes!"

Alice said happily that she was able to release all her energy.

*Night Time*

"Hey Alice?"

"Yes Daddy"

"I was thinking in a few days let's go on vacation"

"A family vacation?"

She asked excitedly. Yugi smiled and pushed some strands of her hair behind her ear.

"Yeah a family vacation. Would you like that?"

"Yes!"

A moment of silence went by until Yugi raised one eye brow.

"Your not gonna ask me where we are going?"

"I don't mind where we go Dad at long as we are together"

Yugi smiled and kissed her on the forehead, he then just finished tucking Alice and Sarah to bed and reading a bed time story for them. As they fell asleep, Yugi closed the bedroom door and headed downstairs to the living room where his Grandfather was waiting for him.

"Are the girls asleep?"

"Yeah well except for Sarah but she's trying"

Even though Yugi's grandpa couldn't really see Sarah he knew she was there.

"Are you sure you want to do this Yugi?"

Grandpa asked hesitantly, Yugi let out a sad sigh.

"Not really but I have no other choice grandpa. I mean I love her like a daughter as well but its really hard to do that because she's not fully solid only a spirit but I can see everyday that she tries to pretend she's a normal kid. It honestly hurts to see that she tries to grab her food with her hand or take a bath and I know it hurts her as well"

"Has she said anything?"

"No but I know she doesn't want to tell me"

"You think your friend won't mind?"

"I don't think so but it never hurts to try and who knows maybe Sarah can see it where she belongs"

Grandpa looked at Yugi with sympathy, he placed his hand gently on Yugi's shoulder in some sort of comfort.

"I know its gonna be hard to let her go but at the end of the day we have to think what's best for the child."

"Its not gonna be easy grandpa"

"Nobody said it will be easy Yugi. The best thing we can do for them is to help them understand."

Yugi remained silent but nodded his head.

"When does your plane leave?"

"Tomorrow"

"I guess we both have to cherish the moment we have now with her"

"Yeah, goodnight Grandpa"

"Good night Yugi"

They both went to their separate rooms and off they went to sleep. Little did they know Sarah was listening to the end of their conversation while hiding in the shadows since she doesn't sleep.

'hmmm just who could they be talking about?'

She thought since she only heard half of the conversation trying not to over hear since her father told her that it was wrong to listen to adults private conversations but decided not to stress on it and just watch over the others sleep.
