"Well..."

Yugi said trailing off looking towards Atem. Atem cleared up his throat.

"Well it appears that she has work to do with her powers"

"Does that mean what I think it means?"

Atem chuckled.

"My answer is yes Yugi. I will adopt Sarah but I just hope she likes me, since she just met me"

"No worries. This is great, I'll just go talk to Sarah"

Atem nodded. Yugi then walked to the girls.

"Hey you girls having fun?"

He asked rubbing Alice and Sarah's head.

"Yeah!!"

Mana then nervously looked at Yugi.

"Hey I was just teaching Sarah how to use magic"

Sarah smirk looking at Mana.

"No you weren't"

"Well I was going to"

"No you wasn't"

Yugi then quickly change the subject between Sarah and Mana leaving them to stuck their tongue at each other in a playful manner, causing them to giggle. Yugi then cleared up his throat.

"Sarah I would like to have a word with you, do you mind?"

"Of course not Dad"

Yugi then took Sarah to a more isolated part of the garden for they can talk privately, leaving Alice to play with Mana and Atem. Yugi sat down on the grass and motion for Sarah to sit on his lap, he hugged her from behind as they looked towards the wonderful flowers.

"So what did you want to talk about Dad?"

"Well what do you think about my friend Atem?"

"Hmmm I don't know, I guess he's okay"

"What would you think of maybe staying here?"

"I guess it would take time to get used too"

Sarah turn to look up at her father confused but Yugi continued to ask her simple questions.

"What do you think of Mana?"

"Daddy, I have a question. Why are you only asking me these questions? What about Alice?"

Yugi remained quiet as he knew Sarah was getting suspicious about the questions.

"Dad?"

Yugi let out a sigh casting his eyes down to the grass.

"Sarah the thing I am about to tell you might hurt you and is a very big decision but just please remember that I love you and I'm only trying to do what's best for you"

Sarah remained quiet but stared up at her father waiting for him to continue.

"I made a decision and I know you might hate me for it but it will be for the best for you. I'm leaving you here with Atem..."

"Wait, what?"

"Sarah, I saw today how happy you are for to be able to finally touch something. I know its gonna be a big adjustment but you have to understand that this is the best choice"

"For you or for me?"

She asked with a glare towards her father.

"Of course its for you sweetheart. Atem said he is willing to adopt you and plus you will get to learn a lot of stuff here"

"Why me? Why not Alice? Or is it because she's human and I'm not"

"Sarah I love you both the same, I just wants what's best for you"

Sarah looked towards the ground.

"So this is what you and Grandpa were talking about a couple of days ago"

Yugi was surprise.

"What?"

"I overheard you and Grandpa talking"

"Sarah you know you shouldn't eavesdrop on grown ups conversation"

"I couldn't go to sleep and I was bored but honestly I didn't mean too"

"Hey its okay, its over and done. So what do you say that Atem be your new Dad"

Sarah looked up at her father with tears trailing down her cheeks.

"But I don't want a new Daddy, I want to stay with you"

Yugi wiped away her tears.

"I know you do but if you go back with me and Alice then you won't be able to touch anything or even go to school. Your gonna see Alice grow up but you will remain the same"

"Why is this a problem for you now?"

"Its not a problem, I'm just trying to find a way for you to live your life comfortably"

"But I'm fine where I am"

"You say that now but I know later you would change your mind"

"You don't want me to be your daughter anymore, is that it?"

"Of course not, I'm just trying to see the pros and cons. Sarah you been living your whole life in the dark, in the shadows but if you stay here, you can finally feel the sunlight"

"But its the afterlife"

"At least you won't be alone and I'm sure Atem will love to have you as a daughter of his own"

"I...I don't know what to say"

Yugi smiled at her.

"And you know if you stay here and become Atem's daughter, do you know what that will make you?"

"What?"

"A princess. So what do you say Sarah?"
