"But wait." - Author cast some sort of spell, and creates a barrier around you and him, then the barrier disappear. "Corona Protector."

The kidnapper goes behind a building, Author can no longer seeing him.

At your location, the others are getting up.

And someone with a shield, riding a motorcycle run pass him, goes after the truck.

He turns back, sees you on the car with Void Ranger and Umbral Rose.

"Sure." - He gets in the car.

Later, you're chasing after the truck had the miHoYo-chan and the kidnapper, but it's the second truck, you're face with the third one's back.

"Now, i will take care the truck." - Author said.

"..." - He tries to do something, but he stopped, and taking out something from his bag.

"Author?"

"Sorry guys. But i've reached my limit." - He takes out a gun.

The third truck's back open, 3 black guys inside it with guns, firing at your car.

"Ay ay!! What the!!!" - The car is slipping.

They aimed for you, at the driver's seat.

"Tsk, trouble..." - He hands Kiana a sniper. "Use it, and creates portal for me, Kiana." - The Author said.

"..." - Kiana takes the sniper. "I... I can't use it..."

"... I'm driving."

"Let me." - Rita said.

Then Kiana creates 2 portals, swapping you and Rita, later, the car is still normal.

"Okay. I need you to take down one of them, the guy with the shotgun." - Author points at the guy with a shotgun. He looks like the kidnapper, but miHoYo-chan is not on that truck.

"Now, Y/n. Take him down!"

"..." - You aim the guy with a shotgun, and shaking.

"Kiana! Now!" - Author shout, then Kiana creates a small portal connected to the top of the truck. "Y/n! I'm counting on you."

"I... I can't..." - You put the sniper down.

"Fine." - The Author jumps to the portal.

He landed on the top of the truck. Then he swings down into the truck, kick a guy in his face, then killed the other with his gun without any hesitant. But the guy with the shotgun disappeared.

"Happy new year, motherfuckers."

He's ready to get his hands dirty, as long as it can save miHoYo-chan.

He goes to the driver sear, point his gun at the driver's head.

"I want you to keep driving, do something strange, i'll paint the glass with your blood." - He said, and knocks out the guy next to the driver's seat.

The trucks and your car is now on a bridge, there's a big river down below.

He goes back, looking at your car is behind the truck, then thumbs out, with a smile on his face.

"He did it..." - Kiana said.

"I know we can trust on that son of a b*tch." - You said.

But suddenly, the driver of the car leaves his seat, Author notices it, he turns back, and point the gun at him, but the driver kicks his gun away.

The driver take his hat out, it's the Winter Soldier. He got a shotgun on his hands.

"What?"

He fires it, the Author got taken down by that blast.

"Die." - The Winter Soldier put a bomb on the truck, then he breaks the glass, takes out a grappling hook, hook it to the second truck.

The car crashes into the iron fence, going down to the river.

"What?" - Rita said, while just witnessed everything happened in a moment with you and Kiana.

"Author!!"

The bomb explodes, the truck got blown into pieces, and falls down to the river.

You and everyone just looking. You couldn't done anything.

Rita looks to the second truck, the Winter Soldier is holding a grenade on it. Then he throws it to the ground.

"Watch out!"

The grenade explodes at the moment it got underneath your car.

"Done." - The Winter Soldier steps in, and his friends close the door on the back. And keep driving forwards.

Later, 2 minutes.

"Ahh..... Where.... What happened...." - Your head is hurt, you looks around, sees Rita and Kiana are both unconscious around you, the burning car is away from you all about 20 meters in front of you.

Void Ranger creates portal, teleporting everyone out of the car.

You looked down to the river, looking for Author in despair.

"It's fine... He'll teleport up here... Any moment... And he'll said hi to me... As always..." - You looking for him everywhere, and waiting for a portal to open.

But all happens is silence. And some cars coming by.

The Valkyries steps out from it, rushing to you and other two.

"You okay, Cap?" - Artemis Knight asks.

"... I lost him..."

"Who?" - The Queen ask.

"Author... I... I... I lost him.." - You begin to cry.

"What... The Author..." - White Comet ask. "You're joking... Right?"

The fact you shows no response is the answer.

The other two getting up.

"Cap... We need to save her..."

"..." - You wipe out the tears, and standing up. "She's right."

"Girls, get on the car. We'll chase after the enemy." - Vermilion Knight said.

"Right."

Everyone get on their cars, you go out, looking at the river again.

"Author, i'll have to go." - You said, then turns back, head inside the car.

Going after the kidnappers, getting miHoYo-chan back.
