Chapter 4: Earth?  Meeting my new family!

                         Y/N's POV

I watched as Vampa blew up.  I normally would've been happy to see that place gone, but after Beets sacrificed himself for Bah and I, I wished it would've stayed so I could bury his body and say a proper goodbye.

Get it together Y/N, Beets wouldn't want you to be beating yourself up, after all, I look over at Bah and pet him.  It isn't just me I have to look after.

I decided after sulking for Kami knows how long, I would find something edible.  I looked around the ship and found a room with multiple machines and gadgets.  I walked over to the tall silver one and opened it.  As soon as I did that, I received a blast of cold air hitting my body. I looked inside and found some food in there.  I took a look around and found a bar-like piece of food.

It was wrapped in a crinkly thing and I easily ripped it off and began to eat.  I took my first bite and I was so shocked at the taste of it that I took another bite, then another, and all too soon it was gone.  I raised the wrapper above my mouth to get the last bits of it.

I grabbed another for Bah and he devoured it just like I did.  He then wrapped himself around me and fell asleep, as did I.

-time skip-

I woke up to the sound of the ship saying that we were entering the atmosphere of the planet Beets sent us to.  I heard Bah shuffle beside me and I got up and handled the controls and pulled them back to have a stable landing.

Thank Kami that Beets gave me a brief  rundown on how to land the ship.

                          ??? POV

I was sitting in my office doing paperwork with my lutenant standing next to me.

"Lutenant."

"Sir!" She turns to me.

"I need you to find Fullmetal, his brother, and Hughes for me."

"Sir, with all due respect, why?" The lutenant looks at me confused.

I told my hands and look at her as I rest my head on them, "Because I just got orders from the Fuhrer saying that an 084 was found in a desert near to where the Elric brothers currently are.  I want Hughes there because I have a feeling that he'll be needed when confronting this creature that will emerge from the 084." (A/N: An 084 is an unidentified object(s).)

"I'll get right on that Colonel." She nodded to me and left.

                           Y/N's POV

I had successfully landed the ship, but I don't think that it went unnoticed.  I soon heard the whirring of the machinery on the ship as the doors unlocked.

So Beets made it so that the doors wouldn't open until we got to our destination...clever.

I opened the doors and the first thing Bah and I felt, was the immense amount of heat that this place had to offer.  I coughed as I breathed in the sand and I stepped out further.

"Where are we Bah?" I turn to him and he lowers his head to me and I scratch behind his ear.

"Well wherever we are, we need to find shelter and water.  I'll fly up you stay here, ok Bah?"

Bah nods his head and digs down into the sand and turns into his "camouflage mode".

I fly up and look around as I try to see where there is water and shelter.  I turn around and see three people walking towards where Bah and I landed.  I float back down and Bah pops up out of his spot looking quite comfortable.

"Bah, there are people coming this way.  I need you to lay low for a bit until I know they're no harm to either of us."

Bah smiles, licks me, then nods and goes back into the ground as the sand covers him.

Huh, how convenient.

I soon hear voices and turn back to where the people where coming from and I heard an echoing voice, a whiny one, and one that sounded mature.

"Ah maaan, are we ever gonna find this thing?" The whiny voice complained.  "Just as Al and I got a lead."

"Don't worry big brother, we'll still be able to find it.  But you heard what Mustang said, the Fuhrer gave us this mission. Minus Hughes." The echoing voice sounded so carefree and innocent.

"Don't worry guys, we'll be done lickety split with some time left over." Said the mature voice.

Hmm...I wonder if they would know anywhere to get water...or food for that matter.

I then saw some figures that appeared from the top of a hill.  One was Short with yellow hair, and had on a red jacket,

The second one was a suit of metal,

And lastly was a male that had black hair, hair on his chin and square things on his face in front of his eyes.

                      Edward's POV

"Ah maaan, are we ever gonna find this thing?" I complained.  "Just as Al and I got a lead."

Dammit Mustang, you knew we were following a lead on the philosophers stone.  You probably did this on purpose.  Hm?  Who's that?

I look to find a very tall man with no shirt on, and a green thing around his waist.

"Guys, who's that?" I point towards the man and Hughes and Al looks at the man.

"I have no idea, do you think he's peaceful?"

"Do you think he wants to see a picture of my daughter and wife?!"

I shake my head and we continue to approach the strange man.  The closer we get to him, the more nervous I get.  I had no idea that he was so fucking tall!  I study him a bit more and see that he has a few scars that are visible.

                         Y/N's POV

The three of the approach me and I get into my battle position.  (A/N: the one he gets into before fighting Goku.)  The others follow suit and I see the short one clap his hands and make a spear out of the ground.

The fuck?  I looked at the short one confused and he pointed the spear at me.

"Who are you?"

"Why do you need to know shorty?"

"WHO DID YOU SAY WAS SMALL LIKE A GRAIN OF RICE THAT DOESN'T SHOW UP IN YOUR EYES?!" I flinched at the loudness of the short one.

"No need to yell, I can hear you just fine."  I responded while cleaning my ear with my pinkie.

"Don't worry about it, Elric is just insecure about his height. I'm Maes Hughes by the way.  And I will repeat what Edward asked; who are you?" The mature looking one now named "Maes Hughes" responded.

"Y/N is my name."

-time skip-

After we introduced ourselves and I told them where I came from and what happened, they looked at me with pity and astonishment.

"So you don't have a home anymore?"  Hughes asked me and I shook my head in response.

"Not anymore, Bah and I lost our home."

"Who is Bah?" Al asked me.

"It's probably best if I show you." I walk over to where Bah was and tapped on the ground lightly.  The others looked in confusion until a rumbling was heard and Bah emerged from the sand.

"This is Bah."

Bah smiles and licks me, then turns to the others and growls.

"W-whoa..." Alphonse then gets closer, "he's so big!"

The other two don't move and Bah then stops growling when I pay his head.

Hughes then approaches cautiously and stands in front of me.

"Well, since you don't have a home or family, how about you live with me and mine?"
