Chapter 3: Saved pt. 2

                         Y/N's POV

"Hello?"

I came out of my hiding spot to observe this new creature that kind of looked like a wimpy version of myself.  I decided to ask him an obvious question,  "Who are you?"

The man spins around and points his machine at me.  I tilt my head in confusion as to why he's hiding behind the strange machine.

"Isn't it more polite to introduce yourself before you ask someone's name?" He replied harshly, still holding the contraption up to hopefully defend himself.

I must've still looked confused, because the man sighed before lowering the thing in his hands.  He looked around the place as if something were to come and attack us.

"We should get to safer quarters to continue talking to one another."  The man goes to the ship he came in and grabs some things of his and starts walking in a random direction.

I sigh as I catch up to him and sniff the air.  A storm is approaching and this man will not be able to survive on his own.  I grab the man and sling him over my shoulder, grab his things and start to fly towards my cave.

"Hey!  Put me down!"

"No, there's a storm heading this way and I have a place that we can stay and talk as we wait it out."

As soon as I explained myself, he just laid there on my shoulder not moving an inch.  I continued to fly for a few seconds, then reach my cave.  We head inside the plain yellowish brown walls and as soon as we get in the storm comes raging through, outside the cave.

As soon as I set the man down he looks at me and thanks me.

"Thanks for the help.  Now to continue the conversation before, what's your (A/N: Power-level?) Name?"

"My name is Y/N, now who are you, what was that contraption you were holding, what are you, and why are you here?" I started to ask hoping to get some answers as to why he's here.

"My name is Beets, the so called contraption is a gun, I'm a Saiyan, and I'm looking for the son of Paragus."  The man now named Beets, explains.  I'm even more confused as to what a Saiyan is and what a "Paragus" is as well.

I must've still looked confused because he then started to explain that Saiyans are a race of intergalactic warriors that are used by a tyrant called Frieza, to destroy all lifeforms on planets so that he can sell them to the highest bidder.  He then tells me about a child that was sent to this planet because they were exiled for their humongous power-level.

-Time skip-

After he's done explaining everything, I know that I'm the son of this Paragus and that he was murdered by the King of our race.  Then our entire race was eradicated by Frieza, killing off most of the race.  I held no remorse over hearing this for the man that killed my "father" was killed in the same blast.

The storm was long gone by now and I decided to go out hunting.  As I got up Beets did as well.

"Where are you going?" His tail seepages behind him showing he's anxious.

"I'm going to get some food.  Now stay here and don't do anything that doesn't include protecting yourself."  I then go out and hunt.

                          Beets POV

(A/N: don't play this till I tell you to please)

I sit here on the floor explaining everything about our history to Y/N.  After a few hours, he decided to go and get some food for us.  My stomach growls at the thought of food since I ran out a month ago. 

I then think about the green thing around his waist. What is that thing...it must be important if he's wearing it all the time. I then get up and start to explore the cave.  I head farther back and surprisingly don't hit the back, it just keeps going.  I continue for another few minutes then decide to head back so Y/N doesn't tell at me thinking I left.  As I'm walking back I hear a growl behind me and I caused me to run.  I hightail it out of the back to the front, but this one looks different.  I don't see my stuff on the ground and the growling is louder.  I decide to just gun it outside and go off to find the cave.  I use my scouter and find Y/N's power level and follow that.  I find that it lead me to the cave that Y/N was waiting outside of.  I flew in and say on the ground, seeing insect legs around us.

                           Y/N's POV

I flew out of the cave and went to find one of those insects.  I found a whole bunch of them and killed one, and dragging it back with me.  The other ones didn't try to fight back knowing that I can kill them easy.

-time skip-

I arrive back at the cave and find that Beets is missing.  I look around and try to look for him in the far back of the cave but don't find him.  I decide to wait outside the cave.  After a few minutes, he is rushing by me to get back in the cave and away from whatever he thought was chasing him.

I chuckle at his misfortune because o told him to stay put.

"Have fun?"

"Oh yes, I had so much fucking fun that I was scared of not being able to get back here in time." He replied sarcastically.

I just laugh sadistically.

"What? Were my friends not friendly towards you?"

Beets shivered at my laugh and started to back away from me.  I then cleared my throat and smiled normally.

"Ready to eat?"

I turned around, grabbed a leg, snapped it in half, and offered it to him.  I watched as he grabbed the leg and started to devour the thin as if he hadn't eaten in a month.

-time skip due to my lazy ass-

A few months go by and we become friends, I introduced him to Bah and we would all train together.  But then we all heard the sound of engines and people yelling at one another telling them to find something or someone.  Beets and I went out to see them after we told Bah to "hide" himself.  As soon as we saw them Beets pulled me behind a rock.

"Dammit why are they here!?"

I tilt my head in confusion, "who's 'they'?"

Beets looked at me scared shitless, "the Frieza force, that's who they are, but what do don't understand is, why are they here?"

I look at the "Frieza force" and see they're wearing the same earpiece that Beets wears when he searches for me when I'm hunting.

"Maybe because of those scouters on their faces?"

Beets eyes widened in realization then he said a string of cuss words I've never heard before.

(A/N: play the song now)

"Dammit," he turns towards me, "we need to get you and Bah off this planet and to a different one."

I give him a serious look, "No, we're staying here and fighting for our home."

"You don't understand Y/N!  These men are the elite of the elite, they'll kill you and Bah with no hesitation what so ever!"

I look at him surprised and then nod. "alright let's go."

He and I take off to go and get ready for Bah and I to go.  We made a plan that we are to steal the large ship so Bah and I can leave together.

(A/N: pause the music)

-time skip to the fight-

The men went down as easy at the bugs do, they were getting massacred by me, and the natural occurances of the planet.  We get to the ship and Beets started to put on some numbers and signs.

"Ok, this should put you on a different planet that is much safer than this one."

"Ok and what about you?" I ask and Bah is right beside us.

(A/N: play song at 3:50)

"I'm gonna stay here.  It was my fault after all.". He looked at us with a sad smile.

"Good bye, Y/N."

He ran out of the ship, shut and locked the door so we couldn't follow.

"NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!   BEETS!!!"

I pounded on the door along with Bah, but the ship was moving and shot into space as the last thing I saw of him, was him getting killed, and the planet I called home, destroyed.
