This is not chapter but a headcanon relationship to explain about Rita and Jane relationship,

Rita and Jane were once friends before Lincoln and his sisters were born Rita met Jane at high school whom the two became friends the two hang out together Jane met Mark's dad at the age of 18 Jane introduce him to her friend Rita, the two graduated from college as Jane turn 23 Jane and her boyfriend celebrates her friend's wedding Rita and Lynn Sr becomes family and Rita and her husband celebrates Jane's wedding after their wedding Jane and her husband moves to mandela county as she says goodbye to her friend Rita and her family the two keep in touch.

After Jane and her husband were back home from their vacation Jane is told by Mark who told them what happened Jane realizes her Rita had blamed her own son Lincoln Jane knows Rita had listen to Lynn's superstition, Jane is supportive to Lincoln this has affected their friendship.

This is the headcanon of Rita and Jane's friendship relationship, I would make the chapter about Jane visiting her friend in prison to have a call and talk to Rita why she and her family did this to their son.
