Note: This is the old chapter of Espionage in my old book so I'm now rewriting the chapter to make it longer when Lucifer in O'Brien disguise went to visit each Lincoln's friends who have been worried and concerned about Lincoln, so please don't hate or be negative please be grateful of the rewritten chapter. No one's POV

It's April 9th Sunday in the morning the rain stops it's now sunny today the loud family were still worried about Lincoln after they what did is wrong and unforgivable Lynn still hates her competitor Sarah the whole family are now doing the chores in the house cleaning their bedrooms, taking out the trash and cleaning dishes because Lori and Leni are older enough to do it for themselves. Rita and Lynn Sr were sitting on the couch still thinking Lincoln they wanted apologised Lincoln how wrong they were and how sorry they are they wanted to find and search him they turn on the TV for some news the news channel came on as the reporter said the following:

"Breaking news, the 11 year old boy went missing due to the family dynamics, the family were worried about their 11 year old song the police were on the search for the 11 year old boy around the Royal woods and town too. I hope you stay tuned for updates"

The reporter explained they were still desperate to find Lincoln and apologised for blaming him for being bad luck Lincoln have pretended to be bad luck so he won't join the game he wanted to take the break as they were lost in their thoughts until the two heard the door knock Rita sits up from the couch Rita went to the door she opens the door she is greeted by the young man with blonde hair which ties into ponytail but with curls and he wears the trench coat under the black vest he wore the scarf around his neck, he wears the dark shade blue trouser wears the black boots his eye colour is gold and yellow with the natural smile on his face,

Rita haven't seen the him before Rita not wanting to expose the secret to the blonde man about the bad luck incident "Hello sir, you can come inside" Rita said gesturing him to come inside the house he walks inside the house Lynn Sr is confused and surprised to see the man whom he haven't seen him "My name is O'Brien, Mr. Loud" O'Brien said introduced "it's really nice to meet you O'Brien" Lynn Sr greeted they sat down on the kitchen table to have the chat things were going fine with O'Brien he ask the two the question about Lincoln "So Rita didn't your son is supposed to be at school?" O'Brien asked Rita and Lynn Sr were nervous about the question the two have to come up with the lie or excuse "I have the call from school who told me Lincoln is absent from school, I have apologised the school for not informing them I told the teacher that Lincoln is sick today he can't go to school because he's too sick to go we let the teacher know when he gets better" Rita explained with the lie Lucifer speaks in his mind "she lied about Lincoln being sick I knew his family blamed him for bad luck I will expose their secret in the public" Lucifer thought he knew the family have hide the secret and truth from everyone in Royal woods "I hope your son is doing okay Mrs. Loud" O'Brien reassured but he almost forgot that Rita had the friend she met and became friends with the girl that she haven't seen or speak with her, it's Jane Heathcliff, Rita's friend who the two always get to hang out at their teenage years Lucifer will do this in the perfect time after chatting with Rita and Lynn Sr until O'Brien is ready to leave Rita and Lynn Sr says farewell to the two they closed the door Lucifer decided to speak to Lincoln's friends O'Brien walks in the streets he arrive to the bus stop where he waits for the bus until the bus is here O'Brien gets in the bus the seats are empty luckily the passengers are not here in the seats O'Brien sat on the passenger seat as the bus drives to the destination to speak with Lincoln's friends about their concerns and worry.

O'Brien arrived to Clyde's house O'Brien gets off the bus he goes to the front door he knocks the door few times until the door opened revealing to be Clyde's dad Howard "is there you need sir?" Howard asked in question "My name is O'Brien I came here to speak to your son about their concerns of his friend Lincoln, Mr. McBride" O'Brien said in calm tone Howard nodded he let's O'Brien inside the house "Clyde is in his bedroom he's worried a lot about his friend O'Brien" Howard pointed out he points at the upstairs "thank you Mr. McBride" O'Brien thanked "no problem O'Brien" Howard said he went upstairs and went to the hallway he goes to Clyde's bedroom door he knocked at Clyde's bedroom door, then Clyde then responded "who is that?" Clyde said his tone sounded worried "I'm O'Brien I came to speak to you about your friend Lincoln I have concerns for you" O'Brien said the door opened Clyde looks worried since he's been worrying about his friend "May I come inside please" O'Brien asked Clyde opens the door fully allowing O'Brien to come in his room O'Brien sits down on the bed and Clyde sat down on the bed too O'Brien then asked "I have concerns about you Clyde, you're were like never come out from your bedroom" O'Brien said Clyde replied back "his family told me and my friends about Lincoln is feeling sick because he can't go to school and can't hang out with us he didn't want us to catch his sickness" Clyde explained O'Brien is shocked what Clyde have told him "I'm sorry about Lincoln being sick I hope he will get better" O'Brien said with a bit of apology "It's okay it's just that Lincoln didn't come to hang out with us" Clyde said, the two talk for a bit until O'Brien is ready to leave "Really nice to speak to you Clyde" O'Brien said leaving Clyde's bedroom he went downstairs "How is the conversation with Clyde, O'Brien" Howard said "It's a really nice conversation with Clyde Mr. McBride" O'Brien replied Howard opens the door for O'Brien to walk out of the house as Howard shut the door behind him the next Lincoln's friend is Jordan "I have to speak with Jordan" O'Brien said to himself O'Brien walks in the streets of Royal woods.

In about 7 hours of walking O'Brien finally arrives to Jordan's house where he can talk to her about their concerns about Lincoln he went to the front O'Brien press the doorbell he waited until Jordan's mother opens the door she is surprised to see him "Oh how can I help you sir" Jordan's mother asked "I have come to speak to your daughter about her friend Lincoln, Mrs. Rosato" O'Brien said Mrs. Rosato nodded in agreement she gestures O'Brien to come inside the house "Jordan is in her bedroom she's keeps worrying about her friend Lincoln, you can speak with her" Mrs. Rosato said O'Brien thanked her O'Brien went to upstairs and went to the hallway he reaches Jordan's bedroom door, O'Brien knocked Jordan's bedroom door then her voice is spoke through the door "What do you need?" Jordan asked "My name is O'Brien, I want to speak with you Jordan. Your mother let's me to speak with you so may I come in" O'Brien said and asking her to let him come inside her bedroom "Okay, you can come into my room O'Brien" Jordan said O'Brien opens the bedroom door he come to see Jordan sitting on her on the floor her face looking sad,

O'Brien have to process what is making Jordan worried O'Brien walks towards and sits down on the floor with her "You can tell me what is worrying you Jordan, I have concerns about you and your friends" O'Brien said with calm and comforting smile Jordan looks at his gaze "Well, since Lincoln haven't come to school and didn't meet us during recess" Jordan begin O'Brien said "You're really concern about Lincoln, if you keep worrying you'll distract yourself from homework and lessons, don't worry he will get better as he will you and your friends in recess" O'Brien reassured Jordan smiled in appreciation making her stop worrying "thank you O'Brien, worrying will distract me from homework I should need to keep my focus I hope Lincoln will get better" Jordan said finally stops worrying O'Brien smiles "Ok Jordan I have to go now" O'Brien said "Thank you for talking with me it's really great to talk to me" Jordan thanked with the smile O'Brien walks out of the bedroom as he went downstairs Jordan's mother went to him "so, how is it the conversation with Jordan" Mrs. Rosato asked O'Brien smiles calmly "it's going great talking to Jordan about worrying can distract her from her homework" O'Brien informed Mrs. Rosato smiled "Thank you O'Brien for talking to my daughter" she thanked "No problem Mrs. Rosato" O'Brien said as she opens the door for O'Brien walk out of the house as he walks away from Jordan's house the next Lincoln's friend that he's going to talk to is Rusty Spokes, Lucifer in his disguise he should talk to Rusty about Lincoln he could not expose the secret yet he expose in the perfect time. O'Brien walks forward in the streets he goes to the bus stop he waits for the bus to come he patiently until the bus arrives O'Brien gets on the bus he takes the seat on the bus seat as the bus drives off to the destination to Rusty's house address O'Brien is thinking in his head "before I could talk to Ronnie, I have to talk to Rusty, Liam, Stella and Zach this will save my time when I get to Rusty's house" Lucifer said speaking in his head his thought were cut off as the bus driver stops at Rusty's house O'Brien got up from the passenger seat as O'Brien walks out of the bus O'Brien walks to Rusty's house stopping at the front door he pressed the doorbell he waited for a bit until the door it was Rusty's mother, Mrs. Spokes "Hello sir" Mrs. Spokes greeted with the smile "Hello Mrs. Spokes, I have came here to your son Rusty" O'Brien said Mrs. Rusty nodded she let's him inside the house "Rusty is in his room O'Brien" Mrs. Rusty pointed out to upstairs "Thank you Mrs. Spokes" O'Brien thanked he walks up the stairs and went to Rusty's bedroom door he knocked on Rusty's door the door is opened Rusty's face look worried and surprised to see him "your mother allows me to talk to you about your concerns with Lincoln"  O'Brien explained "so you're here to talk to me" Rusty said O'Brien nodded in confirmation. O'Brien comes inside his bedroom and sat down on the bed "So I have concerns for you and your friends what happening" O'Brien said Rusty sighs then said "Our friend Lincoln is sick which worries us" Rusty explained with worry tone "Rusty, everything is going to be okay, Lincoln will get better when his sickness is cured how about you must focus on some things that you have to focus on" O'Brien said in comforting tone with the smile on his face which make Rusty feel better "I know worrying too much can distract me from other things I should keep my focus, I have to keep focusing on my homework and chores thanks a lot O'Brien" Rusty thanked O'Brien smiled "Your welcome Rusty" O'Brien said "but now I'm ready to go now. Bye Rusty" O'Brien said "bye too O'Brien" Rusty said too O'Brien walks out of Rusty's bedroom he went downstairs Mrs. Spoke sees him "Did the conversation work" Mrs. Spoke said "It's going great talking to your son about their concerns about Lincoln, should never worry too much" O'Brien explained Mrs. Spokes smiled "I appreciate your help I will let my husband know" Mrs. Spoke said O'Brien nodded he walks outside of the house as Mrs. Spokes closed the door behind him O'Brien walks further away from Rusty's house the next Lincoln's friend that he's going to talk to is Liam O'Brien looks around the surroundings making no one is not watching or noticing him the dark substance formed around him as the dark black substance covers him whole as he's going to teleport to Zach's house address then the dark substance disappears.

The neighbourhood is quiet until the black substance appears the figures emerges revealing to be Lucifer in his disguise he's now here in Zach's house O'Brien walks to the house O'Brien knocked the door then waited until the door is opened it's Zach's father good to meet you Sir" Zach's father, Mr. Gurdle Greeted "is there something you need?" Mr. Gurdle asked "I have come to speak to your son Zach about his concerns with their friend Lincoln" O'Brien said Mr. Gurdle is surprised what O'Brien told him "Zach did told us Lincoln is sick today that worries Zach and his friends you can talk to Zach" Mr. Gurdle said pointing to upstairs "thank you Mr. Gurdle" O'Brien said he walks to the stairs and went upstairs take turn to the hallway he reach to Zach's bedroom door he knocks on the bedroom door "who is it?" Zach asked O'Brien cleared his throat "My name is O'Brien your father lets me to talk to you Zach," O'Brien explained "would you mind if I come in" O'Brien asked "you can come in my room" Zach said O'Brien opens the door and comes in the room where Zach is sitting on the bed in his hands who is reading the book "Hey O'Brien I haven't seen you" Zach said having not seen him in royal woods O'Brien sat down on the bed with Zach "I have the word with you Zach" O'Brien said he wanted to know why Lincoln's friends keep worrying about Lincoln since he have run away from home and meets them at mandela county "I know what is happening Zach but I have concerns about you worrying about your friend Lincoln" O'Brien said Zach is surprised what O'Brien have asked him Zach worriedly looks at O'Brien then he said "I know it is worrying for me Clyde told us Lincoln is absent from school and we went to his family and ask how is Lincoln doing they told us Lincoln is sick, he didn't want to go to school because he's too sick he didn't want us to catch his sickness and make us sick too when we get too close" Zach explained he have been worried about Lincoln's wellbeing they all wanted to help Lincoln but his family told them they can "help him" but O'Brien knew his family is hiding truth from everyone in royal woods "Zach, it was quite worrying to you but you should not worry too much, but you focus on some things and school homework Lincoln is going to be okay he will get better" O'Brien said with the comforting smile on his face Zach now realising that worrying can make him stop doing some stuff O'Brien is right "You do have the point O'Brien I should never worry too much thank you for making me realise" Zach thanked "your welcome Zach" O'Brien said the conversation is finished O'Brien walks out of Zach's bedroom he goes downstairs Mr. Gurdle is waiting patiently he sees O'Brien "How did it help O'Brien" Mr. Gurdle asked wanting to know how the conversation with Zach is going "the conversation with Zach is doing fine today Mr. Gurdle" O'Brien said Mr. Gurdle smiled in joy "thank you so much, O'Brien you can go now" Mr. Gurdle said thanking and gesturing him to go O'Brien go to the door as Mr. Gurdle waves O'Brien farewell O'Brien waves farewell too Mr. Gurdle closed the door O'Brien sighs in relief O'Brien is now ready to talk to next Lincoln's friend is Liam one of Lincoln's friends, the dark substance surrounds O'Brien the dark substance covers O'Brien whole as he's going to teleport to Liam's house address as he disappears out of existence.

The dark substance reappears again O'Brien emerges out of the dark substance teleportation arriving at the farm where Liam lives O'Brien begin walking forward to farm house he pressed the doorbell he waits for friend's parents to answer the door is opened it's Liam's father Mr. Hunnycutt "Howdy there sir" Mr. Hunnycutt greeted in southern accent O'Brien have to get used to other accents since Lincoln told him about his friend Liam who speaks southern accent "Hello Mr. Hunnycutt, my name is O'Brien" O'Brien greeted "Nice meetin' ya O'Brien" Mr. Hunnycutt said "I come here to speak with your son Liam I have concerns about Liam did ever tell you about his friend Lincoln when he got back from school" O'Brien said Mr. Hunnycutt nodded in agreement "Yes, he told me his white haired friend is not feelin' well he's helping with the animals at the barn you can talk to my son" Mr. Hunnycutt said pointing at the barn where Liam is feeding the animals O'Brien walks to the barn he sees Liam feeding the chickens some grains O'Brien walks up to Liam he turn his head to see him walking "Hey there sir" Liam said O'Brien smiles as he waves at Liam he flinch a little as he almost step on the chickens Liam chuckles sheepishly "Sorry bout' the chickens" Liam apologise O'Brien  softly chuckles "It's alright Liam I almost step on the chickens my name is O'Brien your father allows me to talk to you" O'Brien said Liam listens carefully "I have concerns about you Liam, so I have the question; what is making you worry so much like stuck in your thoughts" O'Brien said Liam nervously looks at O'Brien he have been worrying about Lincoln Liam then answered "Ah' do worry bout Lincoln O'Brien" Liam said with worry in his voice "Ah' always worried about him and his wellbeing, his family told us Lincoln is feelin' sick. Ah' always get stuck in my thoughts" Liam explained O'Brien feels sympathy for Liam "Liam if you worry too much then you might get distracted and lost in your thoughts you need to focus don't worry about Lincoln he will better when his sickness is cured" O'Brien said with reassuring smile as he reassured him Liam chuckles a bit "thank you O'Brien for helping me" Liam thanked O'Brien smiles "Your welcome Liam" O'Brien said O'Brien walks back to the house to inform Liam's father as he reaches to the house where Mr. Hunnycutt is waiting "How did it go?" Mr. Hunnycutt said "Oh, it's going well Mr. Hunnycutt" O'Brien informed Mr. Hunnycutt is delighted "thank you O'Brien I have finished making Lunch I have give him the shout" Hunnycutt said "Liam! It's the lunch is ready!" Mr. Hunnycutt exclaimed loudly it is loud for Liam to hear his father's shout "I'm comin' dad!" Liam exclaimed as Liam runs back to the house Liam finally reaches to the house Liam comes inside the house for lunch "You don't have to pay me Mr. Hunnycutt I'm free" O'Brien said calmly Mr. Hunnycutt laughs a little he goes inside the house to have lunch with Liam as he closed the door. O'Brien walks away from the house and farm as he is far enough from the farm O'Brien teleports with the dark substance that teleports him back to Royal woods,

Back at Royal Woods.

The dark substance appears on the ground O'Brien emerges from the dark substance he is almost there the next Lincoln's friend is Stella he have finally arrived to Stella's house address O'Brien pretend to be normal without suspicions O'Brien walks to the door O'Brien knocks on the door he waited until the door is opened revealing to be Stella's mother, Judy Zhau she has the mix of shock and surprise "Hello Sir" Judy greeted with the smile "is your husband home?" O'Brien asked "My husband is at work" Judy said "I have came here to speak to your daughter I have concerns about her Mrs. Zhau," O'Brien explained "did she told you and your husband what happened" O'Brien asked in question "she did told us about her friend Lincoln haven't went to school because he's feeling sick" Judy explained "you can speak with Stella she is in her bedroom still studying but she gets a bit distracted when she worries about Lincoln" Judy told him "Thank you Mrs. Zhau" O'Brien thanked, O'Brien went upstairs and walks to her bedroom door "you don't if I come in Stella your mother allows me to speak with you" O'Brien said "ok, you can come in" Stella said O'Brien grabs the knob then opens the bedroom door he walks inside the bedroom Stella looks at him. Stella haven't met or seen him before in royal woods "is there you need to speak with me" Stella asked "I have concerns about you Stella" O'Brien said Stella is surprised as O'Brien sat down on the bed to have the talk with her "You have been worrying about your friend Lincoln Stella what is happening" O'Brien said Stella has to be honest with O'Brien she then said "Lincoln is feeling sick he is homeschooled to stay home because he can't go to school this worries us about Lincoln's wellbeing" Stella explained with worried and sad expression O'Brien gives her the reassuring smile "Stella, you don't have to worry about Lincoln he's going to be alright how about you focus, and concentrate on your stuff and homework study" O'Brien reassured which make Stella smile "you're right O'Brien, I better not worry too much Lincoln is going to be alright when he gets better thank you O'Brien" Stella said with the smile on her face O'Brien smiled too "your welcome Stella" O'Brien thanked he got off the bed walks out of her bedroom he went downstairs as he is ready to leave "O'Brien how did it go?" Judy said O'Brien then said "I helped your daughter to realise that worrying can distract her from her homework and reassured her Lincoln is going to be alright" O'Brien said Judy smiles in delight and appreciation "thank you O'Brien I appreciate your help" Judy said "no problem Mrs. Zhau" O'Brien said he walks out of the house as Judy closed the door behind him now the last friend that he's going to talk to Ronnie Anne O'Brien sees the sun setting it's going to be late O'Brien teleports with the dark substance that helps him to teleport to Casagrandes family.

In the town the dark substance appears again O'Brien emerges from the ground he have arrives to Casagrandes home O'Brien walks to the door he knocks the door he waited for a bit for someone to answer the door until the door is opened it's Ronnie's father, Arturo he looks at him surprised "I come here to speak to your daughter Ronnie Mr. Santiago" O'Brien said "You can speak to my daughter she's in her room" Arturo said O'Brien comes inside O'Brien went upstairs and goes to the hallway he sees Ronnie's bedroom door O'Brien knocks on the door "Ronnie if you don't mind if I come in your room"O'Brien said "come inside" Ronnie said O'Brien opens the door he comes in the bedroom he sees Ronnie lying on her bed her face looked worried "Ronnie your father allows me to speak with you" O'Brien said Ronnie lifts her head looking at him with worried face "yes?" Ronnie replied "Ronnie tell me what's bothering you" O'Brien said Ronnie then explained "I have been worried about Lincoln he didn't come to school which is worrying to me and my friends, Lincoln haven't visited me for days, and weeks because it worries me so much" Ronnie explained O'Brien feels sorry for Ronnie he pats Ronnie on the back to comfort her "Everything is going to okay Ronnie, I hope Lincoln is doing okay because he's sick today you have to wait until he feels better" O'Brien reassured Ronnie smiles "Thank you O'Brien" Ronnie thanked O'Brien smiled "your welcome Ronnie" O'Brien said he sat up from the bed walking out of her bedroom, he went downstairs where Arturo is waiting patiently "I have Finished speaking to Ronnie how she is worried about Lincoln I help her to never worry because Lincoln will get better Mr. Santiago" O'Brien explained Arturo smiled in appreciation "thank you O'Brien" Arturo said "no problem sir" O'Brien said Arturo gestures him so he can leave "Bye O'Brien" Arturo said waving him farewell O'Brien waves farewell back as Arturo closed the door as Arturo went to do some stuff O'Brien or Lucifer have completed he is ready to teleport back to mandela county.

Back at Mandela County.

It's now night time Cesar is picked up by his mother, and Evelin drives home Mark, Lincoln, and his sister Sarah, and Adam and Jonah were doing some chores Lucifer appears again at heathcliff's household almost startling them to death "I have talk to your family and friends Lincoln" Lucifer informed Lincoln wants to hear more "your friends were worried about you Lincoln" Lucifer said Lincoln realised his friends were worried about him after he run away from home "I really miss my friends since I have run away from home they were worried about me" Lincoln said in guilt and regret he regretted for running away from home making his friends worried but Mark pats him on the back "Lincoln, I know you miss your friends but we can help you everything will be alright" Mark reassured they have helped him to handle the mistreatment and abuse he went through "Lincoln, it is hard to imagine how your friends missed you in their lives" Sarah said "then you could give your family a second chance and have forgiveness" Sarah said with reassuring smile, Lucifer has the last plan that he must complete "Good to see you now, I'm going back to the void" Lucifer said as he disappeared in shadows "Lincoln let's get ready for bed it's night time" Mark said Lincoln nodded they put all the cleaning equipments away and they head upstairs to their respective bedrooms while Adam and Jonah sleeps in the living room.

Mark and Lincoln were sleeping on the bed together Lincoln holds Bun-bun closed with him while Mark sleeps the two sleep together on the bed for next morning.

Back at Royal Woods.

In the household the whole family were asleep snoring can be heard the girls were asleep but something is going to happen in their dreams.

The loud sisters looked around the darkness surroundings they were scared as if is going to happen then they hear the footsteps coming closer and closer until it is 'Lincoln' who looks normal but something is off about him 'Lincoln's his height is little bit taller his face turn into smile then turn into wider creepy smile the black substance covers his face the one eye appear, he becomes humanoid becoming elongated of size of the alternates' heights his left hand is thinner and longer while his right hand is smaller then on the left but thicker there's four fingers on his hand. The spikes emerges from his left shoulder his torsos and legs were showing skeletal bones like it's from the horror movie it's Alternate X the loud sisters were terrified by seeing Lincoln who reveals his true form they were so terrified and scared they exposes their fears to Alternate X Lori begin to sobs "Please Lincoln I'm sorry for threatening you to turn you into human pretzel! Please forgive me!" Lori exclaimed tears streaming down on her face they all start begging the alternate to have forgiveness for their mistakes and regret but it didn't work or helped Alternate X then start running towards the loud siblings as he is ready to attack them.

"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!" The loud sisters scream at top of their lungs screaming loudly at night this woke Rita and Lynn Sr from their sleep the two got up from the bed Rita feeling tired she have to get the girls to stop screaming "Girls stop screaming!" Rita exclaimed this make the girls stop screaming they run out of their bedrooms they all looked terrified "Mom! We have this terrifying nightmare in our Dreams!" Lori exclaimed "This black monster tries to attack us!" "The black monster is in disguise of Lincoln who tricked us!" Rita having enough of the shouting and yelling "Girls clam down!" Rita exclaimed the girls finally stop in their tracks "you girls almost woke the neighbours up in the middle of the night, come on let's go back to sleep" Rita said with the yawn as Rita and Lynn Sr went back to their bedroom as the girls nodded they all go back to their respective bedrooms to get some sleep.

In the void Lucifer observe on the observation orb observing on the loud family Lucifer grins as his last plan will be to expose their secret to the public how dysfunctional they were to treat and blame the white haired boy for bad luck Lucifer looks at the viewers breaking the 4th wall "I have talk to Lincoln's family and friends, Alternate X have turn their dreams into nightmare, I have the last plan to complete" Lucifer said he goes back to do some stuff in the void.
