Narra's POV

It was April 5th Wednesday, the day is normal as usual the kids went to school while Rita and Lynn Sr were sitting on the couch feeling shame and regret for their actions all because they stay away from Lincoln because he is bad luck now they broke Lincoln's heart all because of Lynn's superstition they only care about luck not realizing they were going too far now everyone will see them as not caring family, Rita feels like she's going to cry the world will see her as a horrible mother she cares so much for her son but now he run away she never got to see him Lynn Sr comforts Rita "Honey, it's okay everything is going to be alright" Lynn Sr reassured Rita looks at her husband with tears on her eyes "It's all my fault honey...... *sniff* I should have been a good mother but now I blamed him for bad luck I could have listened to Lincoln" Rita sniffed feeling ashamed for her action "Rita, don't blame yourself all because of superstition that made us blame Lincoln, we'll be alright" Lynn Sr comforted but then there's the door knock Lynn Sr got up from the couch he went to answer the door as he opened the door he is surprised to see their cousins and their family who looked worried and concern Lynn Sr let's them in to have a talk they sat down on the couch "We have not seen Lincoln for days he haven't visited us for days which start to make us worried" Sharon said her voice sounded worried Rita comes up with the lie "Lincoln is in his room but he's sick" Rita lied not wanting to tell them what happened Sharon is convinced "oh I'm really sorry I didn't know your son is sick today Rita" Sharon said in apologetic tone "I hope he's going to get better" Lance said hoping Lincoln will get better "how is Lincoln doing?" Lance asked Lynn Sr then replied back "he is doing alrighg Lincoln will get better we're giving him some medicine" Lynn Sr said, one of his cousins Shelby asked "when will Lincoln get better?" Shelby asked Rita then say "he will get better Shelby, but do not come inside his bedroom he didn't want you to catch his sickness" Rita warned Shelby nodded in understanding the older cousin Shane spoke "you haven't told us Lincoln is absent from school" Shane spoke Rita almost forgot that to tell them about Lincoln's absence "Lincoln is absent from school because he's too sick to go I talk to the teacher" Rita explained they didn't want to tell them the truth what happen at bad luck incident if they tell their family members and relatives the truth they'll report them to the police and they will be sent to prison which is worrying for them, the youngest cousin Shiloh said "When Lincoln can we visit him?" Shiloh asked "Lincoln will get better you need to wait until you're all ready to visit him" Rita reassured they talk for a bit until their family's cousins are ready to head home "thank you Rita we are going now" Lance said, the family says farewell to their cousins as they go to their car they drive off to the streets as the two watched them drive away Lynn Sr closed the door the two sat down on the couch they let out the sigh of relief finally their cousins didn't found out what happen until there was another doorbell there was someone coming here "I wonder who could that will be?" Lynn Sr said in wonder he walks to the door to answer the door he opens the door he is greeted by Albert it was Rita's dad who looks worried since he's been worried all day "can I come inside please? I need to relax" Albert asked Lynn Sr agreed he let's Albert in and he walks he sees his daughter sitting on the couch to relax.

"Rita, what's wrong?" Albert asked something his daughter is worried about Rita then said "Lincoln is sick today because he is too sick to go dad, I got the call from the school his teacher told me he's absent from school I apologize to the teacher for not telling her about his absence" Rita explained Albert is shocked to hear what his daughter had said that his grandson is sick. Albert then replied "I didn't know my grandson is sick today Rita, I really hope he'll better I was worried and concern why Lincoln haven't visit me" Alert said "yes dad Lincoln is too sick to visit you he's worried that you'll catch his sickness that's why he haven't visit you" Rita said Alert understood they talk for a bit Alert is all relaxed from worry "Ok, I hope my grandson will get better" Albert said he walks out of the house and went to his car as they say farewell he drives away to the streets to head home.

Rita and Lynn Sr still regretted for their actions "Honey, everything is going to be okay" Lynn Sr reassured in hopes that they'll find their son and apologize him for their mistakes, and blaming him for bad luck.

In the school, things are going fine the loud siblings are still doing some school subjects and didn't tell the teachers and classmates why Lincoln is not at school they just lie to the teachers and classmates that he's sick today and can't go to school,

In the school hallway Luna puts her stuff in the locker until she is approached by her friend Sam who looks concern "Luna, what's wrong?" Sam asked Luna then answered "I'm okay Sam thank you for asking" Luna said pretending as If nothing happened "it's just that Lincoln is sick today because he's not going to the school he have to stay home" Luna stated Sam is shocked what her rockstar friend have told her but she understood that her friend's brother is sick "well I Lincoln is doing okay at home" Sam said the two walk as they begin talking.

Back at home, Rita and Lynn Sr doing around the house such as cleaning the dishes and cups and keeping the whole house clean and spotless they hear the door knock Rita went to answer it she opens the door she is surprised to see Lincoln's friends who is waiting on the front door their faces filled with worry Rita quickly let's them inside, they all sat down on the couch to have a talk "me and my friends haven't seen Lincoln in the school Clyde told us the teacher told them Lincoln is not at school and he's staying at home" Ronnie Anne explained Rita replied "Lincoln at his bedroom he's very sick today Ronnie" Rita said they nodded in understanding then Stella asked "did Lincoln catch a cold or something?" Stella asked Rita must answer the question but not let their secret to be exposed "Lincoln didn't catch the cold but he is not feeling well thank you for your concern" Rita said Ronnie wanted to check on Lincoln "can I check on him?" Ronnie Anne asked but Rita stops her there "I will check on Lincoln first" Rita said, so Ronnie Anne didn't need to check on her friend she understands they have a bit of talking with Rita and Lynn Sr until they're are ready to head home because the school have ended now they're taking the bus to travel home, Rita and Lynn Sr says farewell to them as they travel home. Rita and Lynn Sr are relief that they didn't cause any suspicion with their family members, and Lincoln's friends, and school too Rita still feeling guilty she wanted to hug her son and apologize to him the tear falls out of her eyes as she silently cries Lynn Sr comforts her telling her everything will be alright.
