"LET ME GO!" Copper shouted as some men threw him into a cell. A figure stepped into the small strip of light that lit up the dark line of cells. It was Edd. He had a beard now and  looked a lot older. He smirked down at the small teen.
"Hello there mistake!" Edd cooed happily, waving at the terrified bean.
"Well hello to you too asshat..." Copper said, standing up and brushing the dust off himself.
"I've heard stories about you! You caused a lot of trouble didn't you!" Edd replied, seeming interested.
"I hate my parents...that's why...my best friends parents aren't any better...I mean...my pa is alright I guess...Gray is just mean...HE BROKE MY ARM WHEN I WAS FIVE!" Copper yelled, Kinda talking to himself.
"You mean a year ago?" Edd said, finally getting to the subject he wanted to get to.
"A year ago? No! It was like...twelve years ago...wait...was it? Where was I last week? Wait..." Copper said, confusing himself. Edd snickered.

"You do know you're supposed to be five, almost six right?" Edd said, putting his hands in his pockets.
"I...I remember someone telling me that...I know I'm supposed to be a kid but...these memories..." Copper said, putting a hand through his hair.
"Ahah! There we go! You do have memories then!" Edd said with joy as Copper nodded.
"I have memories of birthday parties and Christmases and Halloweens...and other stuff but...it also feels like it didn't happen...Tom got cancer...wait...did that happen?!" Copper yelled, very confused now. Edd chuckled once again.

"I knew you weren't made in a damned machine! It was scientifically impossible!" Edd said, pacing around a bit.
"What are you talking about? I was made in a machine! I don't think it's possible for two guys to have a kid dude..." Copper said, sitting down against the wall.
"No, you were made out of...magic I guess if you wanna call it that..." Edd said with a shrug.
"Huh? How?" Copper questioned, tilting his head to the side.
"Gray was a demon when he made you and Toby...you think you can genetically engineer living beings? No...another force had to be put into it! Gray's dark magic for example...he used magic to make you not a dumb machine! His dark voodoo shit must have backfired and made you grow at a rate you shouldn't have! That's why you have memories! You can see the future! Well...in your mind it's the past but you get the point!" Edd said, leaning against a wall.

"Jeez...why did you take me?" Copper asked, a bit scared but hid it well.
"To do experiments of course! And so I can lure your family here! Including Toby..." Edd said with a grin. This made Copper look up in surprise.
"Don't touch him! I swear to god I'll-"
"You'll what? Use your voodoo against me?" Edd said, unamused. Copper growled and walked towards the bars, grabbing onto them. He started breathing heavier and growling. Around his eyes, his neck and hands turned black. The cell bars started creaking and Copper pulled them apart.
"Holy shit!" Edd yelled, backing up a bit before pressing a button on the wall making a siren go off.

"You made a mistake Edd...you brought Toby into this..." Copper said with a grin as Edd took off running. Copper walked down the row of cells and out the door Edd ran out. He walked into the hallway and saw people point guns at him. He chuckled and pinned one of them to he wall. They started shooting, but the bullets were just bouncing off him. Everyone backed away and he grinned. He was gonna beat the shit outta somebody.

Toby was with Gray, mapping out where Edd could be.
"Well here's the security footage from the time Copper was taken..." Gray said, clicking a button making the screen play. Copper was on screen, sitting upside down on the little bed in the jail cell. You could see two figures in all black saw the bars off and put a bag over Copper's head before picking him up and taking him off. Copper was obviously struggling, but it was no use. They followed the cameras to right outside the base, that's where they lost them. Toby sighed.
"What if I never find him..." Toby said with a groan, leaning back in his chair.
"Oh we're going to find him! I'm gonna beat Tord's ass too! How dare he throw my son into prison for liking someone!" Gray mumbled, staring at his computer screen.
"Copper...actually like-likes me?..." Toby said shyly. Gray chuckled.
"Yup! You really can't tell? He's crazy about you! He's just misunderstood...he's a moody teen and I understand that...he has trouble showing affection but trust me...he really likes you Toby..." Gray said, looking over at Toby with a smile. Toby blushed and smiled back, looking to the side.
"I thought he was just using me..." Toby said with a chuckle.
"Oh no! Copper would never! He'd kill himself before he did that!" Gray said jokingly, turning back to the computer.

Toby looked up with a saddened expression.
"Hey don't...don't joke about that..." Toby said, his happy vibes gone.
"What?" Gray said, turning back around.
"Don't joke about Copper...doing that..." Toby said seriously. Gray scoffed a bit.
"Don't worry Copper wouldn't do that in a million years!" Gray said with a grin, shaking his head as he turned back to his computer.
"Yea...he...he would never..." Toby said, putting his knees in the chair he was sitting in and pulling them up to his chest. He wished he could tell Gray about Copper's problems. How he cuts and drinks. He wasn't going to do that though. He knew Copper wouldn't want him to. All he wants is Copper to be happy and okay. He just wished he knew what was going on with him right now. Where he was. He just wanted to know he was safe.
